Hi, everyone! I’m back with another Inspire Me Friday Project using the calendar stamp set! Since we do have a little bit of summer left, I thought that a card featuring yellow would be perfect. I’m still getting plenty of sunshine here in California!
I began with a light blue A2 card base, which I cut and scored to size. I then stamped a white panel with a hexagon design from the Papertrey Ink Rosie Posie stamp set. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out a strip using the Papertrey Ink Filigree Border Die, and finished off the design with a strip of ribbon and a flower embellishment by American Crafts. I used a rainbow striped piece of scrapbook paper for the filigree die-cut, and I love how the colors mimic my hexagon pattern!
Last but not least, I added the adorable “just a note” sentiment from the calendar stamp set. I love the casual font that looks like handwriting. I think it fits this card just perfectly! Happy crafting, everyone!
