Hello stampers!♥ July 4th is just around the corner, isn’t it?:) Tons of project ideas are poppin’, just adorable!!!
Well today, the designers and I will be sharing our card inspiration for July 4th.♥ We focused on the word “celebrate” from the new release Oh So Fun stamp set, they also combined some stamps from our other collection. We had a blasts!!
If you’ll click each designer’s name, it will take you to their blogs, to know more details about their cards!♥
For my card, I saw this patterned paper by 7 gypsies, I knew I would like to use the star image as part of my focal point. I used a circle die to cut it around. The sentiment is from the same stamp set, I bent it to follow the circle shape, and then stamped it with a navy blue ink. As well as the word celebrate. I distressed the edges with the Antique Linen distress ink, to make it stand out a little bit more.:)
My background is a sparkly gold paper from DCWV, I love those stuff! The glitters won’t come off, which means no mess!lol And then I rounded the corners with the 1/4″ corner chomper.
I hope you enjoyed today’s projects and got inspired too!:)
Hello, PR fans! Happy Friday to you all! I have a soft and sweet little card to share with you using the new ‘Oh So Fun’ set. I wanted to try something a little different with this one. I was interested to see how the jar might look with a stamped vellum layer stitched on top to create a little shaker style jar pocket. I’ve seen this done a couple times and wanted to try my hand at it. It actually went well, and I was pleased with the finished product…
I’m not sure how well it shows, but the lid was embossed with silver (and cut out and layered on top), as well as the two sentiments. The base and vellum jar images were embossed with white. Also, it’s very subtle and just doesn’t show much in the photo, but I watercolored with a pale pink on the base jar (It was stamped on watercolor paper). It’s a little deeper around the edges, and in person it has a really soft and pretty look that blends so nicely with the other pinks on the card. The little sequins are some from a multi pack my daughter had…I just pulled out the silver and gold ones…they were the perfect size for this! My stitching’s not perfect, but I did try to stay as close to the edge as possible. I think being careful to maintain the true shape of the jar with the stitching is what made it ‘work’. Fun!!! I think it could make a cute tag for a bag, too! (Maybe next time;)
Thanks so much for dropping in today! Hope you enjoyed my little celebration in a jar! Have a great crafty weekend!
Hello Precious Remembrance Shop fans!! Wow… are you loving the brand new “Oh So Fun” stamp set as much as I am?? Dyane has done it again and created a really fun stamp set! So many ideas… so little time, lol! Today I decided to just focus on two of the sentiments in the set and created this card:
I went with a gold/off white color combo for my card. To break things up a bit on the card base I did some partial embossing using a lattice embossing folder and my trusty craft mallet. You simple place your cardstock inside the folder and then randomly pound on the folder using your mallet or hammer. Carefully lift up the folder to see how the embossing looks and to decide if you need to add more. For an additional bit of detailing I stamped one of the triangle images on the fishtail banner using Delicata Golden Glitz ink. The sentiment was stamped with the same ink.
Hello! Did you enjoy the new stamp release hop? I do design with some talented ladies, don’tcha think! And that Dyane…doesn’t she design the cutest stamps! Speaking of cute stamps, I’ve pulled some from a trio of sets for today’s card.
My post title is a play on words. I added a little text to the inside of the mason jar to be sent along to someone special as happy mail! I tied the adorable heart tag from the Mom & Dad set to the jar with twine. Then I did a bit of generation stamping with the little heart from the Coffee Love set using red ink. Love the way this looks with the patterned paper!
To get my sentiments from the Oh So Fun set into the jar I did some masking. First I stamped the jar onto white card stock. Then I stamped it again on scrap computer paper and cut out the inside of the jar leaving just the outline. I stamped the sentiments one after the other down the jar until it was full. I staggered the stamping so it wasn’t too matchy matchy! This was super easy to do. I used two acrylic blocks and kraft ink. There’s no sentiment on the card front since they’re in the jar!

I love this stamp set a lot, love that you can make cards in different style using it, this time I went with more shabby chic, home feeling look.
I stamped the image, added the sentiment inside it and then fussy cut it.
Added some embellishments around, and the card is done.

YUP!:) Father’s day is just around the corner. And if you’re hunting for more card ideas, well, I have 2 cards here for you!:)
My first card is really simple! I stamped my sentiments on a white paper using the Mom & Dad stamp set. Cut it out to frame it, and then add some dimensionals to make it stand out more.♥ And done!:)
I don’t know about you, but after I finished this 2nd card. I stared at it for awhile and in my mind, “Wow, this card so COOL”.LOL
I never really planned my layout on this card, it all started from this paper. For me, it has this masculine feel to it, the colors, arrows, and just perfect for a guy card. As you can see, I randomly stamped all of the elements and sentiments on a white paper.
And with the help of the Border Tape #1 stamp set, it looks more finished!♥
That’s my quick post for today. I hope you enjoyed and got inspired!:)
