Hello Precious Remembrance Shop fans!! Wow… are you loving the brand new “Oh So Fun” stamp set as much as I am?? Dyane has done it again and created a really fun stamp set! So many ideas… so little time, lol! Today I decided to just focus on two of the sentiments in the set and created this card:
I went with a gold/off white color combo for my card. To break things up a bit on the card base I did some partial embossing using a lattice embossing folder and my trusty craft mallet. You simple place your cardstock inside the folder and then randomly pound on the folder using your mallet or hammer. Carefully lift up the folder to see how the embossing looks and to decide if you need to add more. For an additional bit of detailing I stamped one of the triangle images on the fishtail banner using Delicata Golden Glitz ink. The sentiment was stamped with the same ink.
I hope you enjoyed my project today!

Rosemary, your card is Oh So Gorgeous! LOVE the embossing trick!
I agree with Sue!! Your embossing is eye catching and the hints of gold beautifuL!!
Rosemary, this is just beautiful! The sentiments look sweet together, LOVE the butterfly die, the gold and white treatment, and that cool embossing technique…Before reading it I thought, ‘how in the world did she do that???’ I really like it…so glad you shared it!
Awesome! Love that technique Rosemary!:) Another sweet card!:) Thank you!!!
Beautiful! Love all the crisp white too!
Wow, this is gorgeous!! Love the subtle lattice on the background!
Rosemary, this is stunning! I love that gold, so beautiful — and the partial embossing is a cool new technique that I must now try! I’m loving this new set…thanks for the inspiration!
Oh my Gosh! this is so pretty, I love the subtle faded embossing on the card base 🙂
Just lovely, Rosemary … the touches of gold against the crisp white are so delicate and subtle! Anita 🙂
Gorgeous! Love the gold accents and that butterfly! Thanks for the embossing tip! i gotta try it!
wow what a gorgeous card..
How creative to use the mallet that way. Just the other day, my little great-niece asked me about the “hammer” in my craft room mess. I had to think for a minute why I had one…then remembered the bottlecap crazy of years ago! Now I can use it for something else. Beautiful card…similar to one I did for Fusion, but yours is much more delicate. 🙂
My jaw is on the floor, Rosemary! This is such a beauty & so creative! I love the triangles on the flag–never would have thought to do that!
You have totally out-done yourself with this card, Rosemary! I really love all the gold, and stamping the banner on the fishtail was a genius idea! Love your partial embossing, too…such a lovely and elegant card…WOW!
