Hello PRS fans!!! Fall is definitely on its way. As I walk my little guy to school in the morning I’m noticing that the leaves are slowly starting to change colors. I have a little project to share today that features some handmade falling leaves using the Fall Colors stamp set.
Mini bags still seem to be rather popular and I purchased some quite awhile ago. I haven’t used them a lot, but found that they were perfect for creating some little Thanksgiving bags. I can tuck a gift card or some candy treats inside and give them to my kiddos and nieces this Thanksgiving. I started by inking up the little bags using some Ranger Old Paper distress ink. I then added stamped the bags with the grid image from Fall Colors using some red/brown ink. Bits of coordinating washi tape were adhered and then the sentiment “happy thanksgiving” was stamped at the bottom of the bag. I stamped the sentiment multiple times without reinking to get that shadowy effect. The leaves were inked with sunflower and rust inks, stamped on some thin cardstock that had printing on it and trimmed out. I crinkled up the leaves and then inked them with burgundy ink. Finished off the little bags with some burlap twine.
I hope you enjoy my little project and thanks for stopping by…
