Hello PRS fans!! Rosemary here with my last {Create It Wednesday} post using the Beware set. I don’t know about you, but I have had loads of fun making different projects using this versatile little set. The project I’m sharing today is actually the first one I made when I received the set, but saved it until the last! A friend gave me some Halloween related goodies one day and one of the items was a pack of black and white straws. When my Beware set arrived in the mail I just knew I had to create something for those straws. This is the results:
I die cut some patterned paper from the October Afternoon Witch Hazel paper pad using a Spellbinders lacey circles die to create my rosettes. (Each rosette takes two die cut circles to create. If you are interested in how I made the rosettes, just let me know and I can do a tutorial on my blog.) Once I had my rosettes created I stamped the icons using orange and purple inks, punched them out and then adhered them to the rosettes. I used my hot glue gun to adhere the finished rosettes to straw to give them a bit strong attachment. Here is a close up of the rosettes.
I love how they turned out and as you can see from the first picture, they go perfectly with the little wrapped treats that I created for my previous {Create it Wednesday} post. Thanks for stopping by… and Happy Halloween!!
