{Create It Wednesday} Spooky Treats!

Hello PRS fans!!  Rosemary here to share a fun little treat wrap that I made using the newly release PRS set “Beware“.     These little wrap are so easy to create using multiple stamps from the set.  To make the wrap you will need a sheet of Avery (or other similar brand) #5260 mailing labels, some inks of choice and your stamps.  This label size is perfect for wrapping around a Hershey’s Nugget candy.

I started by stamping the “trick or treat” line image along each long side of the label using black ink. ( Note:  when making the wraps do one column of labels at a time and make sure to not stamp on to the labels in the adjoining column.)  I then stamped one of the little washi tape images on either end of the label using orange, green and purple inks.  The center was left unstamped because that will be covered up.  Below is a photo of a completed label.   Stamping the labels can get a bit messy so don’t be surprised to find ink all over your fingers and hands!   The icons were stamped using the orange, green and purple inks, punched out, Glossy Accents applied and allowed to dry.   I wrapped  each candy with a label and then added the little icon.  And there you have it.  A fun little treat for Halloween!

Design It Monday ~ Too Cute To Spook!

An adventurous walk in the park gave me the idea to create a cute Halloween card with the owl from the new Beware set nestled inside a hollow tree!

We spotted such a tree on our walk and thought it would be the perfect spot for a spooky old owl! This little fella isn’t too spooky, but he looks pretty cozy in there doesn’t he?

I created a small shaker area to tuck him, along with a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins, into. A couple of stamped and fussy cut leaves from the Fall Colors set ground his little home. I think he’s too cute to spook and wouldn’t mind coming upon him on one of our walks!

Saturday Creations {open if you dare}

Hello Everyone!  It’s Sue Lelli here to post a Spooktacular way to make a treat holder for your Halloween candy using our new Precious Remembrance Beware Stamp Set!

I like to give full sized Hershey bars to my Favorite trick or treaters and I think this holder just makes it more special!  Since I have to make them in quantity, I use the same design but change the colors up so I don’t get bored.

Purple

Green

Orange

There are so many different stamps to choose from in this set, you can make each one unique!

How did I make them you ask?

I used cardstock, cut it to the above dimensions, and score it at the 3″ mark for folding.

I put four sentiments on one big block and stamped it over and over on two panels.

Why just two panels?  Because one will be hidden on the inside.  I also used the Precious Remembrance Positive Thoughts stamp set to make the splats!  LOVE this look!

Then I glued it down the sides and a little heavier on the bottom.

In this photo you can see how I put it in the crimper and gave it 5 clicks.  Perfect every time!

I hope you like this idea!

Project Thursday ~ October 31st

Happy Thursday, everyone!!

It’s my turn this week to share a project showcasing the newest stamp set:  Beware

My card uses the “Happy Halloween” sentiment and one of the super cute circle images from the set.  I die cut a spider web and the numbers; then added a dimensional spider sticker.

I normally do not create very many Halloween cards, but this one was fun to put together!  This set is definitely a must have – so many things you can do with those circle images and borders…
