Design It Monday ~ {Touches of the Past}

Hello! I hope you’ve been enjoying our projects featuring the latest new stamp releases. I’m here today to share another combining the new with touches of the past. The past being a couple of our previously released sets.One of my favorite color combinations is aqua, red and kraft. On this card I chose to let the red take center stage with this fabulous sentiment from the new This Moment Stamp Set. I just love the paintbrush look of this image! After stamping the sentiment onto a die cut cream panel, I added the wispy feathers from the DIY stamp set. I stamped three consecutive times without re-inking.

Next came the large grunge circles from the New Day stamp set. I inked it up, stamped off once on scrap paper, then stamped it onto my panel. To bring a bit of my kraft card base to the focal panel of my card, I inked up the trio of splatters from the DIY stamp set. The finishing touch was the addition of my favorite aqua rhinestones. I felt the card needed something else bright to marry with the bright red sentiment.

And there you have it, one of our new sets with touches of past sets! Thanks so much for visiting with us today.
