Design It Monday ~ {Layered Blossom}!

Hi there! Did you enjoy the new release hop showcasing the new Blossom Stamp Set? Isn’t it a fun set! I’ve used it on another card for you today, let’s get to it shall we.

I used one of the blossoms, stamping it twice on an older BasicGrey paper. I trimmed out the first one on the outer lines and the second I focused on the smaller “insde” blossom lines. After stamping the stem on a white panel, I added the flowers. The smaller one is popped up with a foam dot. The leaves and stem are water colored then outlined with a glitter Gelly Roll pen. I added a few random dots from the Fall Colors Stamp Set and then the cute sketchy sentiment. A die cut border was added before adhering everything to the watermelon card base.

This is really a very simple card. But I think the paper pieced and layered bloom really kicks it up a notch! Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hold on to your hats, the team has more prettiness to share over the next few weeks featuring this new set.
