I am having so much FUN creating with the new PR Blossom Stamp set! As usual, I’m adding a mixed media flair but for once I have a couple of flat cards for you that can be easily mailed.
I am in LOVE with the sentiment in this set “you’re so special” and I used it on both of my cards:
On my first card, I heat embossed the sentiment on vellum and backed it with black cardstock to make it stand out.
My idea was to stamp this flower image all over the watercolor paper, them make one flower really pop out. I used watercolor pencils to create the green and blue background and then added some hot pink paint dots for pizazz!
I blended orange, hot pink, and yellow watercolor pencils with water to create this beautiful blossom.
My next card is similar but a little more subtle:
This time I didn’t add the dots so you could focus more on the blossom.
I LOVE the sentiment embossed on the vellum banner ~ subtle yet a powerful statement!
I hope you like my cards.
Blossoms is a FABULOUS stamp set ~ a real must have!
