Design It Monday ~ {You Were Meant To Shine}!

Good morning PRS fans! Have you been enjoying all of the fabulousness from the design team featuring the super cute Blossom Stamp Set? I have another fun card to share with you today, that’s full of shine and sparkle!

Using a single blossom from the set, I stamped it several times on a white panel using London Fog ink. After coloring (Tombow Brush Markers) the images using sketchy strokes, I die cut a star from the panel. I filled the star with several sequins, confetti and seed beads from Pretty Pink Posh to create a shaker. This was all layered onto a sky blue panel with a die cut scalloped edge. This sentiment works perfectly with the sparkling shiny elements in the shaker, don’tcha think!! It’s stamped using Versa Mark ink then heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

I mention that I colored the blooms with Tombow Markers. I wanted the coloring to have the same sketchy feel of the stamped images, so I just followed the loops  in the same sketchy manner. I few sequins in the centers of select blooms helps to pull the design together.

Thanks so much for popping by today. Stay tuned for more from the team this week using this amazing new set!

Saturday Creations ~ {INSPIRE CREATE HAPPINESS}

Welcome to Saturday Creations where I am just loving this Blossom Stamp set!

For today’s card, I made a mixed media background with stencils, molding paste, sprays, and glitter.  Then I layered paper pieces I stamped with the Blossom stamps on yellow flower patterned paper and cut them out.  Note, I stamped the blossoms with black permanent ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder to add a little shine.  You must do this quickly so the ink doesn’t dry out:

No CAS for me!  I LOVE layers and textures and interesting color combinations!

I copied an idea from our very own Lisa Elton and layered the Blossom for a 3D effect.  You can see her card here.

There are so many FAB words in this Blossom Stamp set.  I chose three that I thought went well together and framed them with black paper to make them stand out.

Here’s my tip for curling up the top flower layer:

Take a roller ball and a smooshy pad and just roll the tool around on the center of the flower.  It will curl the petals up without causing creases in your bloom!  I also stamped the big bloom twice and for the smaller piece, cut it out of the second stamped blossom so it would have exactly the same lines.  Does that make sense?

I hope you like my card and my tips!

Happiness & Coffee Lover’s Bloghop!

Hi stampers!:) Have you heard the news? Coffee Lovers is back for a summer bloghop! Woohoo!:) And guess what? We are one of the sponsors! Hooray!:)

All the lovely details can be found over  here. I hope you’ll join us and have fun!:)

Welcome to Precious Remembrance Shop if you’re new here. I hope you’ll find tons of project inspiration, we have more project ideas coming using our stamp sets!:) Stay tune!

Now onto my project for today! You know it!:) It’s all about coffee!:) I did some masking here to make the coffee cups overlap. Do you guys like how it looks? I really enjoyed this!:)

Another thing is that if you have the Coffee Love stamp set, you’ll see that there’s a striped border stamp included, there’s so many ways to use it, and here I used it to decorate my cups!:)

Since I’ve been doing some shading here and there, it’s best to work on a watercolor paper as a card base, this will help you blend the markers / ink well.:) I used quite a lot of stamps that I’m hoping will give this card great texture! And really love the end result.:)

Here are the lists of stamps that I used:

Coffee Love Stamp Set : Coffee Cup , Striped Border, Enjoy sentiment

DIY Stamp Set: Arrow Border , Splatters

Border Tape #1 Stamp Set : Polka Dots Border ( Found @ top right & lower left corner)

Fall Colors Stamp Set : Grid Background

Blossom Stamp Set : Don’t Forget  – Take a break , & Happiness Sentiments

I also added some patterned papers and buttons with twine to dress up the coffee cups! Cute!!!:) Makes me happy! A touch of white polka dots using a white gel pen for the background, it adds a soft texture and it looks magical like a starry night!:)

I hope you enjoyed today’s project, and got inspired!:)

Your comments makes me happy. Thank you so much for stoppin’ by!

Project Thursday ~ CAS Cards

I am here on this wonderful Thursday to showcase the newest stamp set in the shop:  Blossom

For my project I created a couple of CAS cards.   I painted on some watercolor papers and then die cut tags from them.

I stamped the tags with the flowers from this set and used the “inspire” and “create” sentiments.

I placed a few sequins on each tag and added a bow of silk ribbon.

Using more die cuts, I put a little more black on the sides of the cards.

Tuesday Ideas: A Little Dimension

Hi everyone!  It’s Melissa back with another installment of Tuesday Ideas and this week, I’ve got another simple idea for you using the beautiful Blossom set!

Do you have some patterned paper stashed away somewhere?  This set is perfect for using it on the blossoms!  I stamped two simple flower images in black and then fussy cut & layered a paper pieced flower, popping it up with a foam dot on top of the other two blossoms.  A little dimension goes a long way on a clean & simple design!  This set really has endless possibilities when you use patterned paper to embellish the blossom images!

Until next time,

Happy stamping!
