Design It Monday ~ {The Wheels on the Bus!}

Hi there! It’s that time of year again when the wheels of those big yellow school buses go round and round all through the town! ( Yep, you’ll have that song in your head today~ wink!) My little bus from the new {School Days} stamp set is paired up with some October Afternoon paper on my card today.

I stamped, colored and then fussy cut the bus. It was added to a charcoal gray card base that was covered with a vintage cream panel. The OA papers were both cut with a scalloped edge border then fit together. The sentiment was stamped several times with Smokey Shadow ink along the top edge of my striped paper. The school bus was added with foam tape.

I added Ranger Glossy Accents to the windows and sparkly rhinestones to the headlights. You might have seen those on a couple of the DT blogs for the hop. I liked the look and I liked that DT member Sue commented they looked like high beams!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. We love it when you visit and when you let us know what you think. Rosemary will be back on Wednesday with something simply fabulous! Have a delightful day.

Hello Good Times!

Hi stampers!:) Stoppin’ by today just to say Hello – I hope you’re having an amazing weekend!

Hello Good Times! -How’s your summer photos going? Have you captured every moment?:) I think this card is not just perfect for your scrapbook, I can see so many possibilities with these sweet simple words.

All stamped sentiments are from the This Moment stamp set.

First, I die cut my rectangle scalloped paper, I used a navy blue ink and stamped the word hello on it. (Quick Tip: That alone can already be used as an additional emphemera for your projects, just change up the colors and it should be good to go!:) Embossed it and it will add more fun texture too.)

After that, I adhered it straight to the base of my card. Don’t you think the anchor background gave a lot of summer feel to this card?:) Love it!:) You can stop here already, and that will be a perfect CAS card. But because I wanted to add more layers-lol , I added some washi tapes as well. I also have a piece of paper perfect for layering, which is from our Paper Snippet – Happiness – that’s where I stamped my good times sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project!:)

Thanks for joining me!
