Welcome to another edition of Create it Wednesday. My project today is a gift bag to brighten someone’s day. The PRS store has both white & kraft bags available. I started by making a double tag. Several of the encouraging sentiments in the Daily Thoughts stamp set were lined up on an acrylic block & stamped repeatedly in brown ink on a white die cut rectangle. At the bottom I overstamped two leaves from the DIY stamp set in Brilliance Pearlescent Olive ink & added a little wooden star.
The tag was attached at an angle to a vellum die cut rectangle. I used a brown twine bow & a little white clothespin to add the tag at the top of the bag.
Little star clusters from Daily Thoughts were stamped randomly in kraft ink around the tag. Now it’s ready to fill with treats, a paperback book or better yet–a stamp set from the PRS Store! Hope I’ve given you some ideas for personalizing a gift bag with stamping.

Hey there stampers, Lisa here with another Deign It Monday post! I have a CAS card to share with you today featuring the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set.
The title for my cassette tape was created using the Date Stamp Set. I jazzed up portions of the cassette with a silver Gelly Roll pen and Wink of Stella.
What is U2, you might be wondering? That would be the name of one of my favorite music groups ever. I have a CD in my car that I play just about every time I’m out an about. I love a warm day when I can have the moon roof open, all windows down and the volume UP!! I’m courteous when other driver’s are close, but crank it up when I’m on the open road LOL! Yep you might say I ‘enjoy the moment, and let the music play’…with volume!
Turning up the glitz volume, I embossed the stars (Daily Thoughts Stamp Set) with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I had not intended to have the sentiment on a banner. But, I dropped my stamp block and had to adapt and overcome!
Your CAS cards can speak volumes with just a pop of color and a little sparkle. The added bonus is that you don’t need extra postage for a flat card!
My Paper Tales
Hello! I am so excited to be back on the Precious Remembrance blog today sharing another project with you! Today I have a very colorful and fun 12×12 layout to share and I hope you love it as much as I do! I used the Daily Thoughts stamp set and had so much fun!
I pulled out the fun and colorful Addison 6×8 paper pad from Bella Blvd and began stamping the cassette tape all over the different papers! Once I had them all stamped out I cut them all up and began layering them up to create colorful cassettes!
Once all my cassette tapes were done I started to add them to my white 12×12 cardstock. I decided to add them to the top half of my layout and add my photo in the middle center of the paper! I pulled embellishments from the Addison collection as well and I think the headphone ephemera piece goes perfect!
I added a little bit of color with some inks and mists to add a little more fun and color to the layout!
This layout came together pretty fast once I had all the cassette tapes put together which was actually pretty fun to do! I love how bright and colorful they all look! I also added some word stickers to some of the cassettes that I thought went well with the photo of my daughter and her bestie! Here is the completed layout! This stamp set is so much fun and can be used so many ways!
Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! Make sure to check out the Precious Remembrance Shop to see all their amazing stamps! Also follow them on Instagram and Facebook for more inspiration and to stay up to date on all the new releases! Happy Stamping!
Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a Project Thursday to share with you that I created with Precious Remembrance clear stamps and Gift Wrap supplies.
To create this gift bag is pretty simple 🙂 It is a project that you can make in short time or mass-produce for your party.
First, randomly I stamped the cassette tape image from Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on all over the front of a Plain Kraft / Flat Paper Bag with similar color dye ink pad. Quick and easy stamping, right 🙂
Next is to create the personalized mini wooden clip and gift tag.
For the mini wooden clip, I stamped the stars from Daily Thoughts Stamp Set directly on the mini wooden clip using Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad. I set it aside to dry while working on the tag.
I stamped the sentiment box and sentiment phrase from the Happy Mail Stamp Set on a piece of white cardstock using Orange dye ink pad. Then, I trimmed it down and turned it into a tag. You also an use any tag dies if you have 🙂
I stacked one of the Mini Yellow Doilies, then the gift tag, and twine bow together, and clipped them on the stamped kraft paper bag with the personalized mini wooden clip.
The size of this paper bag is 6 1/4″ x 9 1/4″ that is ideal and big enough to stuff fun gifts inside and finish it with some white tissue paper.
I hope you all enjoy this Project Thursday this week… and don’t forget to check the Precious Remembrance store for more stamps, embellishments, gift wraps, and more…!
Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
Living My Given Life
Welcome! It’s Kelly here with my latest installment of Tuesday Ideas! I’ve had this idea rolling around in my head for quite a while, so I am excited to share it with all of you! Last time, I shared with you a fun idea for using acetate, and I’m back at it again, but this time I’m also incorporating Shrinky Dinks! I knew that I wanted to stamp the film strip image from the Journey Stamp set onto acetate using Jet Black StazOn ink. I also wanted to incorporate many of the larger images from the set into my design. This would have been impossible with such a small card, but by shrinking them, I have the perfect, tiny embellishment!
The images on the Shrinky Dink pieces are all from the Journey stamp set as well. I created this card to send to the photographer that took my daughter’s head shots and performance pictures when she performed in The Nutcracker this past Christmas season. I can’t wait for her to get it! I really think she will like all of the details that I included on the card. The “click click” and “smile smile” images are heat embossed on the card using gold powder.
I absolutely LOVE how perfectly the “that moment” sentiment complements this design. It, as well as the black sentiment stamped along the film strip, is from the newly released Daily Thoughts stamp set! It is also embossed in gold for maximum shine! The film strips are stapled to the card and then I added a small pink bow to cover them. I had so much fun on this design!
Hello PRS fans!! I’m here today sharing a fun little gift bag that I put together using some pieces from the Daily Thoughts Bits & Pieces pack, stamps from the Daily Thoughts stamp set and one of the white bags available in the Precious Remembrance Shop store.
I started my project by pulling out some of the pieces that I wanted to use. The color scheme was based on the color of the stars that appear on the ends of two of the word strips. I found some patterned paper that was a good match and created a rosette using a die I have in my collection. To stabilize the rosette I added a circle to the back and then adhered the circular sentiment and the strip sentiments from the Daily Thoughts Bits & Pieces collection. I cut a strip of patterned paper from the same collection as the rosette and stamped it with one of the little square images from the Daily Thoughts set using inks that were a close match to the colors of the stars. Then I used the star images from the Daily Thoughts set to randomly stamp all over the white bag using the same colors. Once I had the bag covered to my liking I adhered the stamp strip. I found baker’s twine in my stash that matched and tied that around the bag making the bow rather large so it would peek out from around the rosette once I adhered it to the bag. A quick gift bag that you could fill with small goodies to gift to a good friend or family member! I hope I inspired you to create a gift bag for a special occasion!
Have a wonderful day!!
Hey There… rosigrl!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Greta here with a fun wrapped card to tell someone how much you care about them.
Here are the steps and some pictures to show you how to make this card. Begin by cutting a piece of pink cardstock into a 4×8 inch panel. The size is determined by the size of the circle die which in this case is 4 inches. Measure 2 inches from each end and draw light pencil lines.
Next use the circle die for partial die cutting on each end. The pencil line shows you where to position the top cutting plate so only the outer half of the circle will cut.
Score the pencil lines & then erase them. Make a white 3 7/8 inch square white top-folding card to attach to the center of the wrap. Stamp the front of the card using hearts from Love Coupon and Positive Thoughts stamp sets.
Dry emboss the inside of the card and cut a small rectangle from left over pink cardstock, rounding the corners. White emboss the cassette tape from the Daily Thoughts stamp set onto pink and white printed paper and fussy cut.
Attach the stamped image to the cardstock rectangle and to the center of the card. Add a couple of the sentiment strips from the Daily Thoughts Bits & Pieces.
To keep the card shut, cut a strip of vellum 3/4 inch by 8 1/2 inches. Wrap it around the card so it’s loose enough to slide on and off and tape the ends together in the back. Die cut a black cardstock circle just slightly larger than the circle sentiment from Daily Thoughts Bits & Pieces, glue together & attach to the center of the vellum wrap. You can write your message on the back of the pink cardstock.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this tutorial and are inspired to make a wrapped card. Be sure to check out all the great products in the Precious Remembrance Shop. You can keep up with us on Facebook , Pinterest , Instagram , & Youtube.
Hello and welcome! I have a card lacking in color for you today. Wait, what? No, I haven’t lost my mind, I’m just sharing a black and white card!
I started with a black panel then heat embossed the sentiment using Versa Mark ink and white embossing powder. All of the words come from the Daily Thoughts stamp set. Combing the words from the set to create a customized sentiment is super easy with the Misti. Don’t you love the mix of fonts!
I added the Xs border (Thanks stamp set) and a strip of die cut hearts to balance out the design. I popped this onto my card that had been covered with a panel of black and white patterned paper. It still seemed to be needing just a little something else. The tiny winking face from the Coffee Love stamp set filled that void perfectly!
Just because a black and white card lacks color, doesn’t mean it has to lack personality! Thanks so much for popping into the PRS blog. We always love hearing from you.
My Paper Tales
Hello PRS fans! Erica back with you today and I am excited to share another project with your using the Daily Thoughts stamp set! I also used the Positive Thoughts stamp set on this card!
I knew when I first saw the Daily Thoughts stamp set that I wanted to try and do some paper piecing with the cassette tape! For this project today I kept everything black and white and I just love how it turned out because black and white are my favorite together! I pulled out some scrap papers from my stash that had polka dots and stamped the cassette stamp onto them and then cut them out. I pieced them together and used the Hi sentiment from Positive Thoughts stamp set and added it to the cassette! Simple card, simple colors but just look how cute it is!
I used white textured cardstock for my base and made it a top folding card. The white with black polka dot is a vellum paper from Pretty Little Studio and that black and white stripe ribbon!! I am heart eyes over this ribbon! I think this card would be perfect to give to a friend or a girl who is in her young teens! I think they would love the retro cassette and cool black and white! So many possibilities with the Daily Thoughts stamp set! I can not wait to share more projects with you! Remember to follow PRS on Instagram and Facebook for more inspiration and to stay up to date on new stamp/product releases! Thanks so much for stopping by today and have a wonderful day!
Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a black and white chalkboard look CAS card showcasing the new Daily Thoughts Stamp Set.
Creating this card is pretty simple 🙂 I used black cardstock for the card base and chalkboard panel. And I only use one type of ink pad, Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad.
First, on a piece of black cardstock, I stamped the cassette image with Mini MISTI couple of time using Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad. Since it is an archival pigment ink, it is slow drying ink, so I used my craft heater to dry the ink quicker and move to the next step.
I stamped the stars from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on the top and bottom corner of the cassette using the same ink pad. And I also stamped the sentiment and little arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set on the label space of the cassette image. And then I stamped one more sentiment from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set below the cassette with the same ink.
I dried all the stamped images and sentiments with craft heater. After that, I sponged the same ink on the panel using sponge dauber to give the chalkboard look on it. I started from the edge and worked my way to the middle. I repeated every edge of the panel.
I punch the corners of the panel with WRMK Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper and then added the panel on the card base. The card is done. It is not only clean-and-simple, this card is also thin and mail friendly 🙂
I hope this Project Thursday give you an inspiration to create today! And before you go… check out all the new products at Precious Remembrance Shop!
THANK YOU for stopping by and have a fabulous day.
