Inspire Me Friday {thank you so much}

Happy Friday everyone!   Hope you are enjoying the last day of August!  I have another thank you card to share with you today.   This one uses more of the fun images from the Thanks stamp set.  I seem to be on a mission to use all of the images in the set, lol!   But there are so many that it is hard not to make cards using all of them!

prs thank you 2

This time I used the fun word search image and the thank you so much image.  I stamped the word search four times on some light blue patterned paper and then trimmed them out.  I adhered the pieces to a panel of white cardstock.  The thank you so much image was stamped on a green patterned paper and then trimmed it out.  I added diamond Stickles to all the hearts and once the Stickles were dry I adhered the piece as you see.  The panel was then adhered to my card base.

Hope you have a wonderful Labor Day weekend!

Create it Wednesday~Thank You for the Gift

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  I have a fun little card using images from two PRS stamp sets:  Thanks and Oh Christmas.

PRS DT Aug Gift no wm
To begin, I stamped the image from Thanks in black, cut it out and matted it with black cardstock.  For my “gift” I stamped the stars from Oh Christmas in Versamark and white embossed them.  Then I blended Distress Oxide candied apple on the outside edges and abandoned coral toward the middle.  I wrapped ribbon around the square, matted it with black cardstock and mounted it to a 3 1/2 inch square card.  I added a die cut bow wrapped with the same ribbon and mounted the focal image with foam tape.  The sky’s the limit for colors and background images.  Just leave off the bow for quick, easy to mail cards.

Hope I’ve given you some inspiration today.  Be sure to check out all the great stamps and other products in the PRS Store.  See you next time.

Design It Monday ~ (Thinking of You!}

Hello friends! Lisa here today with a couple of bright and happy cards to share. I like to keep a few cards on hand with what I call a generic sentiment. A card to lift a friend’s spirits, a last minute birthday card or just to let someone know they’ve been on my mind. That last thought is just the case with my first card, Thinking of You.

Project_20180806_0003 copy

This one started with a white panel and the star splatters from the Journey Stamp Set. I used several colors of bright cheerful inks turning the stamp in different directions to achieve my overall pattern. Next came a die cut window to create the shaker element. Before putting the shaker together, I stamped the sentiment (Daily Thoughts Stamp Set). The shaker is filled with buttons, confetti and sequins.

Not wanting that little die cut square to go to waste, I created a second card.

Once again I started with a white panel and the same die cut opening. This time I filled the opening with the leftover stamped square that included a sentiment from the Blossom Stamp Set. I chose the card base color from the inlaid piece to continue the bright happy look.

A fun pair of cards to have in my stash, don’tcha think!

Project Thursday ~ I {Heart} You, You’re My Sunshine

PreciousRemembranceShop-IHeartU

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Today I have a CAS card with fun watercolored distressed background and some layers using the Thanks Stamp SetJourney Stamp Set, and VersaFine Clair Ink Pads.

I created the background with smooshing technique using watercolor paper, water, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey Distress Ink Pads. After that, I sprayed and sprinkled with some water, let it sit for couple seconds, and dabbed if off with paper towel. I added some splatters on it with the same ink pad.

I dried it well with craft heater. And then I cut it with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

Next, I stamped the stars and dots from Journey Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Summertime Ink Pad. Then I added this finished panel on a white card with adhesive glue.

PreciousRemembranceShop-IHeartU-02

For the vocal point of this card, I created the layers of stamped images from both stamp set and twine.

I stamped the film strip image from Journey Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair – Nocturne (black) Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I fussy cut it with scissors.

The sentiments are from Thanks Stamp Set. On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the I {Heart} U circle image with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous Ink Pad and then I stamped the phrase “you’re my sunshine” with VersaFine Clair – Summertime Ink Pad. I fussy cut them also with scissors.

Now all piece are ready. I added the white twine on the card and secured it with dries-clear adhesive glue. Next, I added the film strip on top of the twine with 3D foam tape. And then I added both sentiments on top of the film strip with adhesive glue.

I hope you all enjoy today’s card. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Ideas {Simplicity is Beauty}

Hi! It’s Kelly here with a bright, rainbow card that is super easy to make and equally easy to mass produce! I’ve been itching to use this beautiful sentiment from the New Day stamp set that says “simplicity is beauty”. Now, I don’t know about you, but I thought it would probably be a good idea to keep the card simple! LOL!

I thought to myself that a rainbow is something that we all seem to marvel at when it appears after rain, or maybe it might make an appearance through the water coming through the sprinklers, or waterfall. It is such a simple thing, but so beautiful and that is how my card came to life! I knew that the paint swoosh image would make a perfect rainbow and the sentiment would complement it nicely!

I used my MISTI stamping tool to align the image and then just used the rainbow colors in order. The sentiment is stamped in black with a few sequins to add some sparkle. I also spritzed it with shimmer spray for some added detail and sparkle.

Inspire Me Friday {thank you}

Happy Friday everyone!  Wow… August is just whizzing by isn’t it?  I’m popping in today with a set of thank you notes I made using the Precious Remembrance Shop Thanks stamp set.   I love how this fun set has so many way to say thank you!

thank you 4

I started my project by going through my extensive collection of 6×6 paper pads and found one that had enough coordinating paper to create my cards.  I wanted to create a set of cards that could be used by a guy or a gal so I looked for papers that would work for both.  I die cut the little notebook page from one coordinating sheet and then cut the other pieces.   I stamped one of the fun sentiments from the set on the notebook pages with gray ink.  Once that was done I simply assembled my cards in short order.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Create It Wednesday~Thank You So Much

It’s always good to have some thank you cards on hand.  For today’s cards I used stamps from two PRS sets:  Thanks and Oh Christmas.PRS DT August 3 again better (2)Just changing colors gives the same design a totally different look & keeps it interesting to stamp multiple cards.   I began by die cutting two white and one kraft note cards.

My first card has an elegant feel using metallic green and gold inks.  You could add some gems or sequins, but I decided just to tie on some white and gold twine. PRS DT August Elegant again (1)
The other white note card is a Christmas thank you with it’s red and green color combo.  This time I stamped the sentiment in black & colored in the little hearts with a red marker.  Again I left off embellishments simply tying on red and white twine.
PRS DT August Christmas no wmThe kraft note card gives a totally different look which I think is especially nice for Fall.  I first stamped the branches in white pigment ink and rubbed lightly with my finger.  Then I stamped again using the same brown dye ink as the sentiment.  Instead of coloring the little hearts, I just added dots with a fine point white Sharpie.
PRS DT August Kraft no wm

So there you have it–three different looks using the same images.  So many options I can make a lot more and never get bored!  Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next time.

Design It Monday ~ {Thank You}!

Hello! I’m a bit late for Christmas in July, but I suppose it’s never too early to get started on Christmas projects. I’m sharing a thank you note card and coordinating tag today using three PRS stamp sets.

Project_20180726_0018 copy

First up is the 4″ x 4″ thank you note. After adhering the polka dot paper to the card base, I added the thank you sentiment border from the Thanks stamp set. The star splatters (Journey stamp set) were stamped onto the sheet music patterned paper before die cutting the focal ornament. Stamped (Oh Christmas stamp set) and punched pine sprigs were tucked behind the ornament along with a few buttons.

Project_20180726_0020 copy

While I had all of the supplies out, I created a coordinating tag using die cuts and all of the same PRS images.

A stack of Christmas cookies or candies would fill this little treat bag for the perfect sweet treat thank you!
