Happy Friday everyone! Rosemary here with a new Inspire Me Friday post. I’m sharing a card today that I made using the Everyday stamp set along with the fun Oh Christmas stamp set. My card isn’t a Christmas card, but one that you could send out at any time during the winter season.
I started with a A2 sized piece of white cardstock and stamped the background image from the Everyday stamp set that looks like a snow flurry across the top of the piece in watermark ink, applied white embossing powder and then heat set. I then pulled out my Distress Oxide inks and lightly inked up the top of the panel where the embossing is with Broken China distress oxide ink and fading it out toward the middle of the card. I placed my panel in my stamping tool and then using a scalloped rectangle die as a guide I placed the sentiment from Oh Christmas on the panel. I removed the die and then stamped the sentiment in VersaFine CLAIR Morning Mist ink. The panel was then die cut with the scalloped rectangle die. I set aside the die cut rectangle and then adhered the panel to a white cardstock base. The rectangle was then adhered using foam dimensionals. I finished with some white baker’s twine tied in a bow. I really like the way the stamped image looks like a flurry of snow!
