Design It Monday ~ {To: You From: Me}

Hello and welcome to another installment of Design It Monday! I have a scrappy little Valentine to share with you today. Take a look…

Like so many of you, I have bits and pieces of patterned papers that are tiny but too pretty to throw away. I cut some of those coordinating bits the same width, adhered them to a cardstock panel, then cut it to size. This was added to a white card base. Next I stamped the splatters (Positive Thoughts) using Versa Mark ink then heat embossed them in gold. The trio of envelopes (Happy Mail) were water-colored before fussy cutting. The {To/From} sentiments are also from the Happy Mail set but the {You/Me} are from the Totally set.

The month and day were made with the Date stamp set. You could easily customize this card for any occasion.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Scrapbooking Layout: This is Joy by Nicole Martel!

Good morning stampers! I am excited to announce that I am guest designing this month for Precious Remembrance Shop. I’ve been a big fan of their acrylic stamps for some time now and I can’t wait to share with you all of the projects I created for them.

In the meantime, let me share this adorable layout I created using their “Everyday Stamp Set” stamps and their Happiness Paper Snippets! This stamp set was perfect for scrapbooking this selfie I snapped while we were at the Magic Kingdom Christmas day! We had such a great time! As I look at this photo, I realize just how much he looks like me… LOVE HIM.

To begin, I tried finding a blue or pink ink that would match the Happiness Paper Snippets. I decided to use the pink.

Who says you can’t use pink on a boy’s layout? Not this girl…

I really like Prima’s chalk inks. They really look pretty against white cardstock.

I decided to use the heart stamp to help frame the photos. Then I tucked the “favorite” paper snippet at the top right corner of the photo.

I layered a few more cut-apart die cuts at the bottom then added the large foam title to help pull the journaling strips together.

 Here’s a closer look at the layered paper snippets. I love them.What do you think?

 Thanks for stopping by today! If you’re a stamper, check out Precious Remembrance’s Shop stamps in their shop!

Meet Our Guest Designer – Nicole Martel!

Hi stampers! Happy Thursday!:) Our next guest who will be joining us in sharing four amazing projects using our stamp sets is super talented! I noticed her projects in our instagram (make sure to tag us, #preciousremembranceshop or #preciousremembrancestamps). It’s really fun to see a different way on how we can incorporate our stamp sets on a layout. Below you’ll see her previous projects and we can’t wait to see more!

Please welcome Nicole Martel.

I am a wife and a mom of a 8-year-old boy. I live in Maryland with my son, husband, Pete, and 2 kitties (Jessica and Toby. In May of 2010, I received my bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Currently, I work for a Credit Union, 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. When I’m not working, I can be found at home playing with my son, watching shows on Netflix, reading and scrapping! I’d like to say I am more of a simple/journalist scrapper, but I tend to do a variety of things. I love creating layouts, playing with stamps and paint. And occasionally, I like to create mini albums, pocket pages and even planners.

Design It Monday ~ {Happy Mail}

Hi friends, Lisa here today! I hope your new year has gotten off to a great start. Now that the holidays are behind us, it’s time to start thinking about those Valentine projects. I have a fun treat bag for you today.

I have a recipe for some jumbo cookies that fit into the Plain Kraft/flat bags perfectly. My mom and dad are fond of them, so I thought I would whip up a batch, tuck some in the bag and deliver them some happy mail! To decorate the bag, I started with some patterned paper. Next came stamped and fussy cut images from the Happy Mail stamp set. I added some arrows from the set to the PP. I cut one of the Mini- Yellow Doilies in half adding one piece to each side on the back of the PP panel. Before attaching this to the bag, I stamped the heart trio image from the Happy Art stamp set.

Here’s a close up of the detail I like to add to the postage stamp image. I use a tiny hole punch along the edges to give the stamp a realistic look. Too cute! And how sweet are the envelopes stamped on PP, love them!

Hello Good Times!

Hi everyone! I hope you’re having a fantastic day so far.:) I’m back with another fun & colorful project . The cassette tape stamp is from our Daily Thoughts stamp set, which is really giving us a retro vibe! The great thing about this image is you can mix it up with any sentiments, and in any occasion. It’s also a great die cut piece for your scrapbooking layouts, just change up the ink color or patterned paper, and you can have an endless embellishment!

Too Cute!

Hi stampers! It’s great to be back after the busy holiday season. I have my first project for this year. Woohoo!:)

It’s never too early to start creating cute cards for Valentine’s Day. You can also use this layout for your scrapbooking pages. Totally cute!

I used the following stamp sets and Neon inks to complete this card:

STAMPS: Happy Art, Daily Thoughts, Little Things

RADIANT NEON INKS by: Tsukineko

I used the big circle stamp from the Happy Art stamp set to create a nice touch of design for the base of my card, using a light pink ink. Those circle stamp images from the Little Things stamp set totally reminded me of candies with those neon colored inks.:) I can’t finish it without adding some splatters of stars around, I had fun stamping the stars from the Daily Thoughts stamp set. Now this card is ready for my goodie bag with chocolates!

I had fun making this card. I hope you can try it out!:)

Thanks for joining me today. Happy Stamping!
