Hi friends, Lisa here today! I hope your new year has gotten off to a great start. Now that the holidays are behind us, it’s time to start thinking about those Valentine projects. I have a fun treat bag for you today.
I have a recipe for some jumbo cookies that fit into the Plain Kraft/flat bags perfectly. My mom and dad are fond of them, so I thought I would whip up a batch, tuck some in the bag and deliver them some happy mail! To decorate the bag, I started with some patterned paper. Next came stamped and fussy cut images from the Happy Mail stamp set. I added some arrows from the set to the PP. I cut one of the Mini- Yellow Doilies in half adding one piece to each side on the back of the PP panel. Before attaching this to the bag, I stamped the heart trio image from the Happy Art stamp set.
Here’s a close up of the detail I like to add to the postage stamp image. I use a tiny hole punch along the edges to give the stamp a realistic look. Too cute! And how sweet are the envelopes stamped on PP, love them!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
