Hi stampers!:) Glad to be back here again sharing another project for you!:) I’m very happy that you guys are enjoying the Happy Art stamp set along with the designers projects and more!♥
For my project, I started with my background using a yellow watercolor. Once dry, I stamped the splatters, scribbles, and big smudge from the Happy Art stamp set, using a navy blue ink. For my sentiment, I used the Happiness : Paper Snippets. And lastly I added more embellishments, like thread , enamel dots, as well as sequins, and buttons which is also available in the shop.
I also want to share a happy news that Deidre Payne will be joining our Design team! Hooray!!! Welcome Deidre!!!:)
A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! The chance to join these creative artists and fabulous stamp designer at Precious Remembrance Shop is mindblowing. I’m Deidre and I live in blogland at Eyes Wide Open Arts. I reside in Hampton, VA and work as a pharmacy manager. I create at all hours of the day and night, and my doggies (Scribble and Wifi) sit at my feet and make me hop around them to get to all my supplies. Teaching, sharing, collaborating, and meeting new crafters are passions of mine. I started with paper crafts in 2011, dabbling in scrapbooking. The whirlwind of the crafting world snatched me up and I just went with it! I love graphic designs and bright colors, the unexpected, and lots of techniques. I hope to bring you some sparks of inspiration with these must have unique stamps!
She was our guest designer last month, and if you missed her amazing projects here they are!!!:)
I got to make some organized chaos for this card How?
Take some spray inks or stains and let them run down the side of the card. I dried each color with a heat tool before adding the next. I used Spun Sugar, Stormy Sky, Shaded Lilac, and Evergreen Bough Distress Stains.
Stamp the trio of hearts and triangles in rows using different color inks. Add a few of the single hearts.
Use a deep black ink to stamp the small splatter stamp and sentiment. You can layer the splatters to make them appear larger!
The last bits of magic are splashes of the stains and Wink of Stella over the all the black ink! Yessss to sparkle
I love this watery look and it’s perfect for the sentiment.
Since I’ve enjoyed this stamp set so much, I want to gift one in a GIVEAWAY!
Time to use your imagination a bit! I’m super excited to share my third post as Guest Designer for Precious Remembrance Shop’s new release of the Happy Art Stamp Set…and this card is full of flowers that I made using these super artsy stamps. Yes, flowers!!
The stamp set, in case you’ve missed it:
I was playing with these stamps and had a total “wowsers” moment.
If I use the large ink splat with the small splatter on the inside, it looks like a flower!
To make them:
Ink the large splat really well with the lighter color, then tap the darker color around the edges only of the stamp and stamp onto your paper. Repeat with your color combos. I used Distress Inks in Spun Sugar/Picked Raspberry; Peacock Feathers/Evergreen Bough, and Twisted Citron/Lucky Clover.
Lighten the center by lifting some of the color from the paper: use a water brush with just plain water, then dab with a paper towel. This is why I used Distress Inks, but optional
Ink the small splatter stamp with a good, rich black ink (like Versamark) and stamp in the center of each flower.
Stamp the solid and open triangles from the set and sponge ink into the corners.
Spice it up with some Liquid Pearls dotted in the center of each flower!

……and this is what I did with it this time…….CHECK IT!!!!!
This was a fun and simple card to make!!! Here are the directions to make this card!!
1. Create card from white cardstock.
2. Stamp various shapes on cardstock using Memento Rose Bud, Memento Angel Pink and Hero Arts Neon Pink inks
3. Stamp “YAY” onto card using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
4. Affix Washi tape, Sticker Stitches and round corner.
Get ready to get totally inky! I’m back for my second post as Guest Designer for Precious Remembrance Shop’s new release of the Happy Art Stamp Set…and the gift tag I made using these super artsy stamps…WOWSERS!!
The stamp set, in case you’ve missed it:
My gift tag!
What a way to give a gift! And it really was easy to make… thanks to that magical technique called “resist” To make this tag:
Pick several colors of inks/stains/sprays and cover a tag with them. I used Distress Stains in Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, Festive Berries, Peeled Paint, and Ripe Persimmon.
Make sure your tag is totally dry…no really, TOTALLY dry for this next step.
Stamp your design using clear Versamark ink and heat emboss with detail/superfine clear embossing powder. You’ll have to tilt the tag in the light to see the shiny areas so you know you like the design.
Next comes the magic…take an ink blending tool or sponge dauber and cover the entire tag with black ink…seriously lol I used Black Soot Distress Ink. The embossed areas will resist the ink leaving these super amazing stamped images!
Carefully clean off the embossed areas with a baby wipe for super bright colors.
Stamp and heat emboss “yay!” on vellum with gold embossing powder and fussy cut. Adhere to tag.
Amazeballs right?! Totally worth getting my hands covered in ink!
