Happy December by Andrea Budjack!

Time to wrap up the month of November and head on into December with some holiday stamping cheer.  So grateful to be guest designing with Precious Remembrance over this past month.

I have fallen head over heels for birch wood slices this season.  There is just so much you can do with them.  Today I wanted to showcase how you can easily stamp on the surface and create your very own, unique ornament, gift tag, or holiday decor.

Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season and thank you for allowing me to share my love for Precious Remembrance with you!

Stamps Guide the Needle by Andrea Budjack!

Over the past few months there have been many trips down the embroidery aisle at my local craft store.  The colors draw me in and I do not hesitate to add a few new shades of thread to my collection.
For my second project, guest designing this month here at Precious Remembrance, I wanted to share a project where stamp and thread meet.

Begin with stitching a black threaded line across your fabric.  The length will depend on the hoop you are using.  Using pale ink, here I used grey, stamp the pine needles.   This is the point when you add the fabric to the hoop and secure it properly.  Now, time to stitch.  Use the stamped image as a guide for your needle and thread.  I also used a portion of a sentiment stamp in the Oh Christmas set to stitch “happy”.  Added a few french knots and done.  To finish things off, stamped a gift tag and box.

I am not a seasoned embroider; however, with a few of my favorite stamps it makes the process much easier and consistent.

Have a wonderful day and see you back here again soon!

Deck The Walls by Andrea Budjack!

This is the time of year when we start digging into our creative stash for the holidays.  Handmade cards, handmade ornaments, and if we have time, handmade gifts.   Today I wanted to share a quick and easy project that can fulfill that gift need, or maybe keep it for yourself.

All the materials you will need for this project are as follows:

Precious Remembrance Stamps – OH Christmas

Ink

Driftwood or small dowel

Twine

Pearl beads

Needle/thread

Adhesive

Wire (optional)

Tassels or charms (optional)

Begin by tying the twine to the piece of wood.  String on beads, tassels/charms, and wire pieces.  Time to stamp!

Stamp as many stars and pine branch onto cardstock as desired.  Cut out each piece. (Note: To create the 3D pine branches, simply cut out two stamped pine branches.  Stamp image on the reverse side of each.  Cut 3/4 of the way up on one and 3/4 of the way down on the second piece.  Slide them together, through the cut, and fan out to create a “x” at the top and bottom.)

Attach the pine pieces to the wire attachments using a needle and thread.  Then, attach the stars to the twine using a double layer of 3d adhesive dots and two stamped/cut out stars.

There you have it.  The wonderful thing about a project such as this is that it can have anything dangle from the twine in the color palette of your choice, using your favorite stamps and items.  Make it larger to add more detail, or smaller as an ornament on your holiday tree.

Meet Our November Guest Designer!

Hello everyone!:) Glad to be back here with another exciting news! We have an amazing guest designer who will be joining us this month showcasing more of the Oh Christmas stamp set. And if you’ve been following us since Day 1, you probably remember her as of one our designers before. She’s very talented and so happy that she’s finally back in her blog creating so many fun ideas!:) And she’s now here to inspire us more!:)

Please welcome Andrea Budjack!

Hello there, my name is Andrea and I am so excited to be back creating with my favorite stamps at Precious Remembrance this month!  A little about me.  Grew up a country girl, moved to the city and longing for a country life again.  I am a mother to two boys, a full-time teacher to these two boys, an entertainer most days and definitely a full-time housekeeper (comes with the territory).  In my much needed spare time (see I didn’t say quiet time), I enjoy being crafty.  I have been creating for over ten years and am drawn to sharing my creative process on my blog regularly.

Here are some of her amazing work using our stamp sets before. Stay tune for more!:)

Distressed Christmas Wreath Card by Stephanie Gold!

Hey everyone! Stephanie Gold here with my last guest post for Precious Remembrance. I have had such a great time working with the Oh Christmas stamp set and I hope you have been loving it too!! I have one last card to share with you today:
I recently purchased my very first distress inks so I wanted to give those a shot on a Christmas card. I created a wreath using the two different pine leaf images and a couple different green colored inks. I accented the wreath with red stars and then distressed the outside edge of the card lightly using Antique Linen.
I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of cardstock, cut it out into a banner shape, and then lightly distressed those edges as well. I popped the banner up using dimensional adhesive and finished the card off with a little gold wrapped twine. 🙂
Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by and I hope you have an incredible November! Happy Autumn everyone!
Xo, Stephanie

Christmas Tags by Stephanie Gold!

Hey everyone! Stephanie Gold here and I am back with my projects using this incredible Oh Christmas Stamp Set! When I first saw this set, I immediately wanted to use that little ’25’ on a series of tags for gifts so that’s what I have for you today!
I really like to keep all of my tags different but coordinating so I always go with different sizes, shapes, and textures to create a finished set.
One of the wonderful things about this set is how versatile it is. I literally used every single stamp to make all of the cards and tags from my guest posts. Stamping the pine leaves over and over creates a fun pattern which is great for backgrounds behind one of the sentiments and the stars are the perfect accents to any project.
Thank you all for stopping by and a huge THANK YOU to Precious Remembrance for having me! I can’t wait to see everyone’s beautiful Christmas creations. 🙂

Merry & Bright by Stephanie Gold

Hey everyone! Stephanie here again and I am thrilled to be back for another guest post using this incredible stamp set: Oh Christmas.
I have a more traditional Christmas card for you today that still keeps in with my simple aesthetic.
Using a candy cane-like pattern paper, I created a background that would accent my sentiment… the large and festive “merry & bright” – I love this sentiment so much!! It’s super versatile too.. I’m already picturing it in my December album on journaling cards and on tags that I make each year for family gifts. 🙂
My background is kraft paper ran through with a cover plate die and topped with a doily for a feminine and soft touch. How fun would it be to put this card into an envelope stamped with those green leaves from this set?? I think I will have to go back and try that out haha.
Thank you all so much for having me back!!! Enjoy your awesome Christmas stamp sets and tag me in your photos on IG!! @goldensimplicity_sg I would LOVE to see what you create!! Much love!

Clean and Simple Christmas Card by: Stephanie Gold!

Hey everyone!! Stephanie Gold here and I am so excited to be guest posting on the PR blog today!! Has everyone ordered up their Oh Christmas stamp set yet? Oh my goodness, I ADORE this set. {See here for the first card I made with it during it’s release and the blog hop.} For this next card I wanted something very simple and light.

The Christmas sentiment is one of my favorites. I love the fonts!!! I accented the sentiment by creating a flowing stream of stars from one corner of the card to the other in red and pigment gold. Then I finished it off with a bit of seam binding as ribbon and scrunched it… I loved the simple turn out but if you like a little more action, you could easily add sequins, rain stones, or even some Wink of Stella.
Thank you so much for having me!!! I will be back soon with a couple more cards made with this lovely set. In the meantime, if you haven’t gotten your hands on one, you can find it HERE.
Much love! Xo, Stephanie
