Hello everyone! I’m Geri, an ex-special education teacher and current stay at home mom of 3…from 2nd grade to middle school. Kids came a little later in life for us, and I like to think mine are keeping me young! Although I stay busy with so many things while they’re gone at school, I always find myself craving a little ‘crafting therapy’ time, and couldn’t be happier than when I’m surrounded by pretty papers, trims and stamps. My blog has been a great source of satisfaction, too, and I am so thankful to have met some of THE BEST people through it! I’m just really lovin’ this crafting journey I’m on, and feel really blessed by each and every opportunity to share it with others!
Well, I know Christmas is over but there are some versatile elements from this stamp set that’s definitely usable whole year round!^_^
And so I made a really fun card today, using both stamp sets. All borders from this project is from the Christmas Stamp Set. Those splatters and other fun elements are from the Positive Thoughts stamp set.
Remember, explore and have fun mixing up our stamps. There’s so much possiblities out there.^_^
Have fun creating and stay tune for more fun projects this 2013!

Hey, everyone!! I’m so honored and excited to be creating alongside Dyane and her team this month! I’m a stay at home mom of 3 growing and busy kids (thanks to my wonderful hubby!), and creating with my papers, stamps and ink is like therapy for me. (Without it, I tend to get a little cranky!;) Blogging about my creations and meeting new crafty friends has been a great experience for me, and one that has really brought a lot of extra joy into my life. Challenge wins and publication honors have been a source of excitement, too! But I have to say…for me, the best part of this hobby is sharing it ‘up close and personal’ with others. There’s nothing like giving a gift or card I’ve created from the heart to a special friend or family member. Another great way I share my craft is with residents at a local nursing home. Once a month I take everything needed for about a dozen residents to create a card with me. What a treat…for them and for me!!! Yep…sharing this craft is the best part about it! And I’m so thankful to Dyane that I’ll have the opportunity to be sharing with you throughout the holidays! SO looking forward to it!!!
Hi! My name is Laurie Willison. I am a part time SAHM and part time RN. I have 2 kiddos at home and an amazing husband who puts up with my hobby! I started scrapbooking in 1997 and was taken over by card making in 2007! I absolutely love this hobby! It has given me such an amazing creative outlet and I have met so many wonderful friends because of it! You can find me over at my blog, Soapbox Creations! I currently design for Clear and Simple Stamps. I am also on the DT over at CAS-ual Fridays, Retro Sketches and CAS(E) that Sketch! I love my Precious Remembrance stamps! They have such a fun feel to them and are the perfect addition to my crafty stash! Thank you so much for inviting me to guest with you this month!!
Happy Monday Stampers! Aside from cards, one of the elements that we use for gifts are tags. So.. I made one, to show you how easy it is to use the Christmas Stamp Set for your tags, just in time for holiday!^_^
All sentiments and border are stamped using the Christmas Stamp Set. And check out the Handmade with LOVE sentiment, isn’t it the cutest thing ever?^_^ Love it! You can use it in any occasion. Remember: Handmade are always special. And this is just a perfect touch for your goodies!
And once your done stamping, just hang it on your favorite gift bags or boxes, here I made my own!^_^ Easy! And then I added some fun ribbon, and my own Christmas tag!
Hello stampers! I hope all of you had a great weekend!^_^ I’m so excited to share with you another project using the new released Christmas Stamp Set. You will be seeing more from this set, so stay tune!
Let me tell yah!^_^ You don’t really need so much materials to make this card. This set can make your card look complete. Here’s how I made it.
Standard size card (4 1/4 x 5 1/2), and kraft paper.
Grab one of the borders from the stamp set, use a Versamark as an ink and stamp it directly onto the paper. Can you see how it’s an instant background? Love it!^_^
Grab and stamp the rest of the elements from the stamp set, like Christmas balls and sentiments. Have fun playing and use different kinds of inks.
Use the zigzag border from the stamp set as a string for the Christmas ball.
Use a metallic pen to color the stars , make it colorful if you like.
