Project Thursday ~ DIY Mini Halloween Candy Bags

Hello everyone… Helen is here for a Project Thursday. Today, I have some easy-to-make DIY Mini Halloween Candy Bags to share with you all.

I am using the Beware Stamp Set on this project. It is a fun Halloween themed stamp set for sure!

There is a little girl image in this stamp set and I thought it will be a cute one to use as to embellish these bags.

I stamped the circle image on an orange cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne – Black Ink Pad and then I used my 1″ circle punch to cut out the circles.

I made the paper medallions using halloween scrapbook papers that I cut into 1 1/4″ x 12″ paper strips. Then I scored each of them at every 1/4″, folded, and glued each circle on top of the medallion using strong adhesive glue.

I stamped the sentiment on a grey cardstock using the same ink pad, trimmed them, and then added on the medallions with strong adhesive glue.

To make the mini bags, it is easy. I used 8 1/5″ x 11″ Black Cardstock that I cut it out into 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, so you’ll get 2 bags from this size of cardstock.

I put the cardstock on score board with 5 1/2″ at the top, then I scored it at 1 1/2″ and 4″. And then I twisted it and scored at 1/4″ for the bottom flap.

Using my micro-tip scissors, I cut off the bottom of the 2 sides and leave the middle one as the bottom flap.

After that I folded the two side flaps and glued them together with strong adhesive glue. And then I closed the bottom flap and glued it with the same glue.

I added each medallions on top of the mini bag using the strong adhesive glue. If you do not have any strong adhesive glue, glue gun works well for this project, too.

This mini bag holds a pack of mini M & M’s, Marties Candy, and Dots Candy. Any small individual wrapped candies will fit in them, I would say 3 candies in each bag.

I hope this project can give you some more ideas for your Halloween party.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday Ideas {Sweet Treats}

Hi! It’s Kelly here today sharing some fun Halloween treat boxes and tags! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays so I love giving lots of fun treats and gifts to friends and family. I used the Beware Stamp Set to create these fun and festive tags!

Even though there isn’t a lot of room on the tags, I was thrilled to be able to incorporate so many of the images that are included in the Beware stamp set. I stamped the pumpkin and spider web images and punched them out using a circle punch. I layered them onto some stacked stars and a circle of star pattern paper.

Once that was done, I heat embossed the diagonal striped image onto the bottom of the tag base. I used that as a guide to stamp the additional images. I also used some silver gems to add some additional detail to the tags.

They look so cute tied up with gingham and stripes for a festive touch! These were so easy to mass produce. This design would also look great as the focal point on a card as well!

Inspire Me Friday – {open if you dare}

Happy last Friday in September everyone!  Rosemary here with a treat bag that I made using the fun Precious Remembrance Shop Beware stamp set.   I must admit that I was inspired to make my treat bag when I saw my teammate Lisa’s super cute little treat box!

treat bag 2

I started with a black treat bag that I had in my stash and created a spider web on it using a spider web doily and Prima Color Bloom Pearl White spray mist.   Before actually spraying the bag I folded down the top of bag.   I created the medallion using a die I have for that purpose and some patterned paper from a My Mind’s Eye Halloween paper pad.   I die cut a piece of coordinating paper with a scalloped circle die.  I used some glue to adhere the medallion to a circle of cardstock and then adhered the scalloped circle to the front.   I stamped the image from the Beware set in orange ink, die cut it with a circle die and then adhered it to the scalloped circle.   The cat and two bats were die cut from glitter cardstock and then adhered to the medallion and the bag as shown.  I stamped the two sentiments on some coordinating paper, trimmed them out and adhered them to the back.    The final touch was to adhered the medallion to the top of the bag.

Have a wonderful day!

Create It Wednesday~Happy Halloween

Fall has arrived in our neck of the woods and that means it’s time to get some Halloween cards made.  I chose three of the images & a sentiment from the super fun Beware stamp set.PRS DT Oct Halloween no wm Each circle was stamped in black ink on white cardstock.  I punched three circles from a scrap of plaid paper and then lined up the images attaching them to a white panel.  The plaid piece was attached with foam and the whole piece was matted with a black cardstock panel.  I white embossed the sentiment on a thin black strip and finished off with a few black Pico Embellisher dots.  Hope you’ll check out all the great products in the PRS Store and show us your Fall cards.

Design It Monday ~ {Sweet Treats!}

Hi friends! September is flying by at lightening speed and that means Halloween will be upon us in the blink of an eye. I have a fun treat box to share today for my personal favorite little trick or treater, Sweet P!

Project_20180920_0003 copy

After cutting a milk carton from pumpkin cardstock, I stamped it with leaves (Fall Colors) using Versa Mark ink for a tone on tone look. I followed this with purple splatters (Fall Colors) and the sweet treats sentiment (Beware).

I used a small potion of a circle border to add purple polka dots (Border Tape #1) and a happy jack-o-lantern (Beware).

The leaves, splatters and sentiment are on all four sides of the milk carton. Two sides hold the jack-o-lantern. I’ll fill it with mini Reese’s Cups. After all, they’re Sweet P sized!

Project Thursday ~ Sweet Treats Tags and Bags

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Fall is on its way and the next Holiday is Halloween which my daughters do not stop talking about their costumes and treats! I tell you… they cannot wait for that day to arrive.

Today for our Project Thursday, I have treat tags and bags to share with you all. On these tags, I created a watercolor look background using smooshing technique with VersaFine Clair Ink Pads and stamp cleaner. It is very easy and fun technique.

First, I tapped some of the VersaFine Clair – Summertime and VersaFine Clair – Cheerful on the craft mat and sprayed it with the Staz-On All-Purpose Stamp Cleaner. I blended them with brush and I smooshed the tag in the ink. I did it one color at the time and dried it with craft heater tool at each time I added the color on the tag. The ink dried permanently.

On this tag, I use the Beware Stamp Set. I stamped the halloween images on orange cardstock using VersaFine Clair – Nocturne (black), dried them with craft heater, and then I cut them with circle die.

I stamped the sentiment “sweet treats” on purple cardstock using VersaFine Clair – Nocturne (black) and I trimmed them into sentiment strips.

I added the sentiment strips on the tag with adhesive glue and I added the images with 3D foam tape.

I added the tags on the Mini White Doilies, and then I added the twine bows. I clipped them on top of each of the Plain Kraft/Flat Paper Bag.

These tags are quick and easy to make for mass-produce, especially when you need to make lots of them. I hope this give you an idea for this Holiday.

Thank you all for stopping by today!

Inspire Me Friday ~ Halloween Treat Box

Hello, everyone!  It’s Judy here, with my next project featuring the {Happy Mail} stamp set!

I made one more Halloween project, pairing up the {Happy Mail} stamp set with the fun  {Beware} stamp set and a die cut milk carton (shared with me from my wonderful design teammate Lisa).

I stamped images on each side of the flattened milk carton before assembling.  It was a lot of fun combining images from these two sets (along with some splatters from the {Fall Colors} set)!

Here is the front of the box, followed by views of each side as you spin the carton around:

Design It Monday ~ {Special Delivery!}

Hidyho stampers! Lisa here today with a fun little Halloween treat bag that’s super easy to make. If you have a Misti you can knock several of these out in no time!

17 1013 002 copy

I lined up all of the circle images from the Beware stamp set on my Misti then stamped them with black ink. Next came the Open Me sentiment from the Happy Mail stamp set. Keep in mind how you want the bag to be opened when stamping this image. I colored the images with Tombow Brush Markers then added some glitter to the outer circle with a Gelly Roll pen. I decided to make the date image pop a little more, so I stamped it on purple cardstock then punched it out. It’s added to the bag with a big foam dot.

The envelope from the Happy Mail stamp set was stamped twice onto the textured lime green cardstock then fussy cut. I added more of that Gelly Roll glitter on the teeny hearts. After die cutting a banner, I stamped the deliver sentiment (Happy Mail). I added this to the tag then tucked the two envelops in.

I gussied up the tag with a fun junk bow then addressed it. This will go to the two little kiddos across the street. I’ll tuck it into their mailbox as a fun surprise on Halloween since Trick or Treat takes place the weekend before. Word has it they’re crazy for suckers! Looks like they’re getting treats from us twice this year. Its okay, they’re a pair of cutie patooties and totally worth it!

Special Delivery by: Amy Tsuruta

Hello, I’m back featuring a project using some goodies from Precious Remembrance Shop.

Today I’m playing with Happy Mail + Beware:

Here’s how I was inspired!  I inked up those fun circle images from the Beware set in a charcoal ink.  It gives it a worn look and just what I was looking to complement my design.  I wanted to have a handful of the images included on my card so I staggered them with spacing and foam adhesives.

I managed to include two sentiments, one from each stamp set.  The Happy Mail set is perfect for card + envelope designs:

This has already gone postal and hopefully it will brighten the recipient’s day!

Thanks so much for stoppin’ by today!!!!

Inspire Me Friday ~ Halloween Treat Bag

Hello, everyone!  I’m so excited that October has arrived because I love making Halloween projects for my little nieces and nephews!  I love the excitement of Halloween, the costumes and the scary stories, the coming of fall and the cooler weather…and who doesn’t love the candy?

My project this week features our newest release set, “Happy Mail,” paired with the fun “Beware” set.  I made a quick and easy treat bag for a little one…and I will likely make more!

10-6-17 PRS Happy Mail Project #2-1

I punched circles from card stock that matched the polka dots on my treat bags (from the dollar section at Target — a great find!).  On one side I stamped “TO:” while I stamped the “FROM” on the reverse side.

10-6-17 PRS Happy Mail Project #2-2

I combined stamps from both sets to make the topper for the bag. I thought the “open me if you dare” went perfectly with the upper-case OPEN ME!

10-6-17 PRS Happy Mail Project #2-3

I also thought it was a fun touch to stamp “Happy Halloween” directly onto the bag. Can you spy it at the bottom?
