Create It Wednesday ~ {Happy Halloween Mail}

What an awesome Wednesday to share a CAS Halloween card and matching envelope using the crazy versatile {Happy Mail Stamp Set}…which I of course combined with the wickedly great {Beware Stamp Set}.

My favorite color combo for the witching season is lime green, purple, orange, and black. Without the lime though, I’d be lost 🙂 I stamped the circular images from the {Beware Stamp Set} to create patterned paper. Using 3 nesting circle dies to created the focal point, I pitched out (put in the recycle bin) the middle ring so that the black card base would show between the out and inner most circles. I stamped the sentiments and arranged them from longest to shortest. This stair step look works great as a design element for CAS cards.

And who wouldn’t want to send this card in a matching envelope…which by the way, I’m really feeling mail art right now. The new {Happy Mail Stamp Set} had just what I needed!

Design It Monday ~ {Sweet Treats!}

Hello PRS friends! Lisa here today with my first Design It Monday post featuring the newly released Happy Mail stamp set. Dyane has challenged the team to create a Halloween themed project this month. I decided to make a fun treat box!

I stamped the checklist image from the Happy Mail stamp set replacing one of the choices with ‘Sweet Treats’ from the Beware stamp set. I popped this onto a little panel made with patterned paper. Using selective inking on the small row of arrows (Happy Mail), I checked the items off on the list.

I stamped the spider web from the Beware set then added a fun pumpkin button and a couple of tiny hand cut banners. After everything was added to the milk carton I stamped one of the Washi images from the Beware set. It’s added to the checklist panel to look as though the tape is holding it in place.

When deciding what to put in the little milk carton and who it would be for, thoughts of my son being a little trick or treater came to mind. It was like taking a walk down memory lane with his costumes running through my head!

He’s a grown man and a daddy now, but he still likes a certain sweet treat!

Today I have a Spooktacular card using the new Precious Remembrance School Days Stamp set along with the Precious Remembrance Beware Stamp Set.

It may be a little scary for young kids but would be great for older trick or treaters:

I cut out the windows in the school bus and added two images to create a SPOOKY bus ride for sure! The word SPOOKY is great for the license plate and is another image from the Beware Stamp Set. The googlie eyes make the bus seem alive and the black moon with the bats adds to the terror!

Up close, you can see that this is no ordinary little girl!

The background was created with a variety of sprays, paints, splats, and watercolor pencils.

Project Thursday – Spooky Bus Ride…

Well, it’s Thursday and time for one final Project Thursday post showcasing the School Days set.

I combined the School Days Set with last year’s Halloween set – Beware.

I thought these die cut ghosts would look perfect with the school bus to make a CAS Halloween card. I stamped and cut the bus adding 6mm sequins for the headlights.

So, that’s a wrap for this set and Project Thursdays – but stay tuned…..a new holiday set is releasing soon!

Happy Wednesday PRS fans!!! I popping in today with a spooky little card that combines two older Precious Remembrance Shop sets (Fall Colors and Beware) with the newly released School Days set. I love paper piecing the school bus and this time I turned it into a spooky one.

I stamped the bus on some patterned paper from the My Mind’s Eye Happy Hauntings 6×6 pad and then trimmed out the entire bus, as well as the windows on the bus. The little zombie doll image, as well as the spider web image from Beware was stamped on some additional paper, trimmed out and then adhered in the open windows. For my little scene I created “trees” using one of leaves from the Fall Colors set. I inked up the leaf using grey ink, wiped some of the ink off and then stamped. The “moon” was created using the “October 31st” image from Beware and stamped in yellow. The “eeeks” were added by inking up another image from Beware, wiping off the parts that weren’t needed and then stamping. I added a hazy/foggy look by inking up the cardstock with some Ranger Pumice Stone Distress ink and Memento London Fog ink. Finished off the card by adhering my spooky bus with foam dimensionals.

Tuesday Ideas: Spook Bus

Hi everyone! It’s Melissa back with another installment of Tuesday Ideas! This week, I thought I’d use the School Days set to create a mini Halloween card. It’s always fun to stick a little note in with Halloween treats and this little 2.5 x 3.5 card will be perfect for that!

I used a black marker to ink all but the ‘School’ sign on the bus. I wanted to replace the sign with a Halloween themed one! I grounded the bus & framed the sentiment using the border stamp in the School Days set. I used the ‘Beware’ sentiment from the Beware stamp set to transition the school bus into a spo0ky bus. The little spider is from a portion of one of the circle images in the same set.

Have you started on your Halloween cards & gifts yet? Next week, October arrives and then it won’t be long before little ghosts & goblins are knocking on doors asking for sweet treats!

Design It Monday ~ { A Spooky Ride!}

Hello and welcome to another Design It Monday! Today I’ve turned the cute little bus from the new School Days Stamp Set into a spooky ride!

After stamping the bus onto white card stock, I die cut it with a stitched banner die. Using the spider web from the Beware Stamp Set, I gave the kiddos some creepy crawly friends to ride along with! This was done by inking up the portion of the stamp I wanted, then carefully wiping off the other areas with a baby wipe. I masked off the windows with Washi Tape, then stamped the webs.

I thought it would be fun to add a few reactions to those spiders in the form of a speech bubble. I added the “Eeeeks” from the Beware Stamp Set. Star splatters (Journey Stamp Set) in Soft Stone ink bring the color of the card base forward. The chevron/arrows from the DIY Stamp Set give the illusion of a road/direction.

As you can see here, I have dimension on the school bus! The second layer had the wheels cut off so they appear more deep set. And the front layer is just the headlight and grill portion. To spook it up a little, I added the beware sign and big spider (both from the Beware Stamp Set) to the headlight!

Scrapbooking Layout!

Hi stampers!:) Does some of you scrapbook? I love scrapbooking so much, and I make layouts / pocket page scrapbook whenever I get a chance. If not, I do try to organize my photos by month, that way it’s easier for me to look back and select what I want to scrapbook at that time.♥

I want to share this layout with all of you, it’s simply about scrapbooking!:)

They are all from our brand new paper snippets- today. And if you have seen our last release, I made a video on how to make those ticket strips that I cut apart for this layout, using the Love Coupon stamp set and labels from This Moment stamp set.

I had so much fun mix and matching them, as well as layering those embellishments together. The border stamps that I used here are from Beware and Journey stamp sets. And those really cute polka dots alphabets are from target dollar spot! Oh how much I love those chipboard letters, whenever I see a new design that’s right up my alley, I grab 2 packs of them.lol

Valentine’s Day / Hello / Everyday Card

Hi stampers!:) I’m back with my very first project for this year! Woohoo!♥

While waiting for our next release, I thought I’ll make a card that is perfect for the upcoming occasion which is Valentine’s Day. However, I also want this card to be a perfect everyday card with a touch of sweetness to it:) If you know what I mean!lol

I combined a lot of stamps from different Precious Remembrance sets, so let me break it down for you:

Pink Striped Border: Beware

Blue Polka dot Border: Border Tape #1

Sentiment + Black Circle Stain: Positive Thoughts

Light Pink Splatters + Arrows: DIY

I also added different colors of distress markers inside the arrows. Lovin’ those pop of colors!:) And to finished it off, I punched out some glittered hearts, added some staples at the center for more texture. And paired it with pink enamel dots. This card is really fun to make!:)
