Design It Monday ~ {Happy Birthday!}

Hello and Happy Memorial Day! I don’t have a memorial card to share, but how about a birthday card! I’ve mixed images from several stamp sets with the numbers from the Sketchy Alphabet set.

17 0526 001 copy

I created a mask then stamped the numbers inside the small jar from the Oh So Fun stamp set. The number 3 & 6 were placed close together and colored in to highlight the birthday being celebrated. My jar was fussy cut then placed over stamped images on a white panel. I used the grid-like tape from the retired Border Tape #1 set along with the circles from the Positive Thoughts set. I decided I wanted to add more of the aqua color inside the jar. The teeny heart from my Sweet Pea stamp set worked perfectly!

The sentiment and it’s frame (Oh So Fun stamp set) were added to a tag die cut then popped onto the card with foam tape. A couple of tiny rhinestones help to pull the gray colors together.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope this card brought a smile to your face today!

Happiness & Coffee Lover’s Bloghop!

Hi stampers!:) Have you heard the news? Coffee Lovers is back for a summer bloghop! Woohoo!:) And guess what? We are one of the sponsors! Hooray!:)

All the lovely details can be found over  here. I hope you’ll join us and have fun!:)

Welcome to Precious Remembrance Shop if you’re new here. I hope you’ll find tons of project inspiration, we have more project ideas coming using our stamp sets!:) Stay tune!

Now onto my project for today! You know it!:) It’s all about coffee!:) I did some masking here to make the coffee cups overlap. Do you guys like how it looks? I really enjoyed this!:)

Another thing is that if you have the Coffee Love stamp set, you’ll see that there’s a striped border stamp included, there’s so many ways to use it, and here I used it to decorate my cups!:)

Since I’ve been doing some shading here and there, it’s best to work on a watercolor paper as a card base, this will help you blend the markers / ink well.:) I used quite a lot of stamps that I’m hoping will give this card great texture! And really love the end result.:)

Here are the lists of stamps that I used:

Coffee Love Stamp Set : Coffee Cup , Striped Border, Enjoy sentiment

DIY Stamp Set: Arrow Border , Splatters

Border Tape #1 Stamp Set : Polka Dots Border ( Found @ top right & lower left corner)

Fall Colors Stamp Set : Grid Background

Blossom Stamp Set : Don’t Forget  – Take a break , & Happiness Sentiments

I also added some patterned papers and buttons with twine to dress up the coffee cups! Cute!!!:) Makes me happy! A touch of white polka dots using a white gel pen for the background, it adds a soft texture and it looks magical like a starry night!:)

I hope you enjoyed today’s project, and got inspired!:)

Your comments makes me happy. Thank you so much for stoppin’ by!

It’s your moment! Smile!:)

Happy Sunday Stampers!:) It’s another brand new week! Yay! Can you believe this is the last week of February?:) Time flies! Can’t wait for spring though, how about you?

Look what I made!:) I hope this will bring a lot of smiles your way!:)

Working with scraps again, and created this 3×4 size paper as my centerpiece.  It works with pocket page scrapbooking ,but here I decided to place it on a card.  The rectangle  and diagonal blue striped were stamped using the Love Coupon stamp set, it creates a fun layer to start with.

I created my own label embellishment using the label and sentiment from the This moment stamp set. Using 2 layers of paper creates an awesome dimension.

You can barely see it but under the ric-rac ribbon, I actually stamped a light blue polka dots border from the Border Tape #1 stamp set.  And then I stamped a pink heart which is from the Positive Thoughts stamp set, cut it out and stapled it at the center of the flower. Another easy DIY embellishment.

Before adhering my 3×4 card, I tucked a pretty tulle under it. More texture and it’s simply sweet!:)

But I felt like there’s still something missing…..

At first , I was thinking maybe some white splatters right on the blue paper would be great.

Hmmm… but I want something different.LOL

Sometimes my creative mind just won’t stop  thinking. Do you feel the same way sometimes?:)

And so, I decided to stamped words on it, a chalkboard inspired type of thing.:)

I used a white pigment ink, got my sentiment from the This Moment stamp set again.

And after it’s all done, I felt so happy!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post.

Keep on creating and have fun!:)

Valentine’s Day / Hello / Everyday Card

Hi stampers!:) I’m back with my very first project for this year! Woohoo!

While waiting for our next release, I thought I’ll make a card that is perfect for the upcoming occasion which is Valentine’s Day. However, I also want this card to be a perfect everyday card with a touch of sweetness to it:) If you know what I mean!lol

I combined a lot of stamps from different Precious Remembrance sets, so let me break it down for you:

Pink Striped Border: Beware

Blue Polka dot Border: Border Tape #1

Sentiment + Black Circle Stain: Positive Thoughts

Light Pink Splatters + Arrows: DIY

I also added different colors of distress markers inside the arrows. Lovin’ those pop of colors!:) And to finished it off, I punched out some glittered hearts, added some staples at the center for more texture. And paired it with pink enamel dots. This card is really fun to make!:)

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for joining me.:)

Happy Crafting!

{Crafty Sunday} let’s do plaid

When I think of fall plaid comes to mind.  Flannel shirts, the wool plaid blanket we used to cuddle up by the fireplace with growing up and walking into the Pendleton factory where my grandfather worked at for over thirty years.  This is the time of year to start pulling out those things to keep us comforted and warm during the cool days.  Today I wanted to take it to the paper and create my own version of plaid in colors I love.  Here is the breakdown of  my stamping steps.

Did you know that Precious Remembrance has such an amazing variety of border stamps that you can probably mix and match the stamps each and every day for something completely new?  Now you can experiment with stamps and colors in a whole new way.  Try fall or Halloween colors and just see how so many new color layers come out as you stamp your plaid!

Stamps: Border Tape #1, Coffee Love, Fall Colors, Positive Thoughts, Holiday Wishes.

Thank you for popping by…

{Crafty Sunday} ’tis near halloween

Halloween has become one of my favorite holidays in the past couple of years.  The season, picking out costumes, hosting a party for the neighborhood kids and just having fun with it all.  When the new Beware Precious Remembrance set came out I was in love all over again and motivated to get our party planning underway.  This week I wanted to share a little project which kind of remind me to trading cards, these ones being all about Halloween.  All you need is your PR stamps, ink, cardstock and some fun Halloween poems and you are ready to create!

Each tag was created using the following stamp sets: Beware, Border Tape #1, Fall Colors and New Day.  To top it all off I stamped a polka dot pattern onto a small clothes pin with black ink.  Stick these in goody bags, your child’s lunchbox or use them in your next scrapbook or craft project.  Took less than fifteen minutes to create these and that is what I love the most.  With almost twenty kids last year and a haunted house to decorate, these are the projects I adore.

Are you ready to October and Halloween?

{Crafty Sunday} it’s how you celebrate

The past month has been filled with birthday’s around here.  Friends, family and soon I will officially be one more year older.  What better way to celebrate than with a few balloons and greeting cards.  The first card above was created using a few familiar Precious Remembrance stamps to create something unique.  Beginning with one of my most favorite background stamps from the Mom and Dad stamp set, I used a soft pink to create a polka dot background.  I then used the rings from the Positive Thoughts stamp set to create the balloons.  From here, use your PR border and border tape stamps to create your own colorful bundle of balloon designs.  The dash border stamp was used as the string, added the balloon detail to the bottom of each with a pen and drew a bow at the base.  Finished it off with a sentiment from the Oh So Fun stamp set.

Enjoy your Sunday!

{Crafty Sunday} bundle of joy

Happy Sunday!  Time to begin another week to work a bit, hopefully laugh a bunch and don’t forget your creative side.   This past week I spent a little time working on this card set, using as many stamps as I possibly and loving it.  From the border stamps to the cute baby buggy and stars, think I may have fit in just enough, so lets break it down.

Here are the sets that I used to create this card:

To begin stamp the base of the card/cardstock with layers of border stamps and paint splatter stamps.  Paint and stamp the chipboard piece and add rope to the top corner then adhere to the front of the card.  Lay thread on top of chipboard piece before pocket is added. Stamp and adhere kraft pocket on top of chipboard piece.   Stamp tab using border tape stamp, but out and staple to pocket.  Stamp stars and buggy onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to front of card.  (Note:  I used a border tape stamp on the buggy to add more detail.)  Thread and Adhere buttons to the buggy.  Stamp “celebrate” onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to card.  Add beads to card.

Created a gift pocket for the card using a brown paper bag using similar sets, but also used the “Holiday Wishes” set to stamp white on the bag.  That completes this project.  Hope you are having a relaxing day and enjoy your week.

{Crafty Sunday} good in everyday

Welcome fellow crafters to my first “Crafty Sunday” post!  So excited to be back to creating with my favorite stamps along with so many amazing designers.   When sitting down in my creative space with all of the Precious Remembrance stamps at my finger tips my mind went in a few different directions.  Today I wanted to share one of the ideas with you using basic supplies with the stamps to create something with a lot of color and spunk.

With just a cardstock mini album, paper, tape, thread and a few other items you can quickly create your own.  Begin by cutting paper to fit the outer cover of the album, stitch layers and adhere to the ablum.  Add tape at the binding.  Stamp paint drops from the DIY stamp set (in red).  Add glittered resin embellishments.  Stamp sentiment from the New Day stamp set, cut and adhere to the front of the album.  Lay thread on front of album.   Stamp pinwheels using the Oh So Fun pennant stamps, cut and adhere using foam dots.

One of my most favorite stamp sets, if I had to pick one which is nearly impossible, is the Border Tape #1 set.  Used these to create flag tags to add to each page.

There you have our first “Craft Sunday” project.  Hope you enjoyed this post and you are finding a way to add a little craftiness to your day!
