Inspire Me Friday ~ Holiday Gift Card Holder

Hello, everyone!  It’s Judy here, stopping by with my final project for the “Happy Mail” release.    Have you gotten your hands on this fun set yet?  I do hope so!

Now that Halloween has passed, I will slowly begin working on cards and projects for the holidays.  Today I focused on making a holiday-themed gift card envelope.  I don’t know about you, but I find we give a lot of gift cards as gifts each Christmas!

I die cut the gift card envelope, then masked the edges.  I stamped the “TO” and “FROM” using the “Happy Mail” set, then took small pieces of masking paper and covered spaces below each heading.  Next, I inked the entire front using Antique Linen distress ink.  After inking, I removed the masks.

Finally, I stamped the tree from the “Sketchy Christmas” set and added colorful Stickles all over as decorations.

This holiday project was quick and easy and could easily be mass produced.  Do you ever make gift card holders for the holidays?

I hope you have been inspired by the amazing cards and projects shared by the Precious Remembrance Shop design team.  We’d love to see what YOU create!

Thanks for stopping by!

{Inspire Me Friday} A Christmas “Thank You So Much”

Hello, everyone!  Its Judy here with a Christmas thank you card that is quick and easy to make!  I paired up two sets for my card: Oh Christmas and Thanks.

I started out by embossing the sentiment in white on black card stock and die cut it into a label using a Spellbinders die.  Next, I drew a circle on a white card stock panel and stamped the pine boughs from the Oh Christmas set to make a wreath using two different green distress inks (Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters).  Finally, I used gold thread to mount the label to the white panel and framed it in black before adhering onto the green card base.  The final touch of gold and red Stickles on the wreath added some needed sparkle!

Even though there are several layers, this card is still very flat — that is always important to me, especially for mailing purposes!

I hope you have enjoyed our Design Team’s week of Christmas thank you cards.  It always amazes me how well the different Precious Remembrance Shop stamp sets work together, no matter the season!  I’m sure I will need a bunch of thank you notes after Christmas, and I know what stamp sets I can combine to make them!

Thanks for stopping by today!

It’s almost Christmas and today I am showing you how well all of the Precious Remembrance stamps sets work together to make one special card.  I showcased the sentiment from the PR Oh Christmas Stamp set and paired it with the PR Sketchy Christmas Stamp Set and for a twist, I used the jar from the PR Oh So Fun Stamp Set!  I hope you like the result:

Design It Monday ~ {Merry Christmas!}

Hello Precious Remembrance Shop friends! I’m here today with my final Design It Monday post of 2015! Today’s card features the Sketchy Christmas set once again, this time in traditional red and green.

I wanted this card to be clean and simple with lots of white space. The two trees were stamped first followed by their polka dot decorations. These speckled dots are the smallest one from the New Day Stamp Set. After stamping my sentiment, I cut the two words apart then added them to the trees with foam tape. A few Sparkling Clear Sequins were added for interest but still keep the card flat for mailing as well as CAS. Things looked a bit too bare so I stamped the scribbly line twice in the diagonal corners. This panel was adhered to a red card base and that’s it!

Thanks so much for spending some time with us today. I’ll see you next year when we’ll be back in January with a very special and exclusive new release!!

Project Thursday ~ Season’s Greetings

Project Thursday came back around pretty quickly for me – super busy this time of year.  I can’t believe that Christmas is right around the corner and 2014 is almost gone……

I’ve been wanting to use the wreath from the newest set – Joy Stamp Set.  I stamped it in a soft green and added some red pearls to the holly.  It’s hard to tell from the photo, but I also added some glitter to it to make it look like it has collected a little snow.  Then I finished it up with a red twine bow and used a sentiment from last years Christmas Stamp Set.

That’s it!  CAS just as I like it!

Tuesday Ideas: Creating a Simple Holiday Star

Hi everyone!  It’s Melissa here, back with another installment of Tuesday Ideas!

How many of you have ever looked at a stamp set and wished you could figure out ways to use it other than the obvious?  I had a light bulb moment recently with the new Joy clear set & wanted to share it with you today!  It occurred to me that I could single out a portion of the larger image in the set to create a unique and fun holiday card!

Who knew trees could be used to create a holiday star?!  I stamped and fussy cut five tree images and arranged them to create a star, popping them up for dimension.  I added gemstones to give it a little sparkle.  The sentiment is also a portion of the larger image in the stamp set, also cut out and popped up with foam dots.  Such a simple holiday card, but that’s a good thing with days seeming shorter and schedules feeling fuller!

I wonder if some of you have already figured out other unique ways to use this stamp set?!  I’d love to hear from you!

Until next time, keep taking these busy days one at a time!  The new year will be here before we know it!

Create It Wednesday { JOY }

Hello stampers! I hope you’re enjoying our projects using the Holiday Wishes stamp set.♥ We had a blasts creating each one of them for all of you!^_^

Today, I have a quick project share using the last year’s Christmas stamp set.  I love all of the sentiments on this set, and if you missed the projects from the team, click here to see the FAB creations that will surely inspire you.

{ Stamp Set: Christmas }

Even after Christmas, I used this set quite often for its borders. I just can’t resist that faux stitching, and scallop border stamps.  Can you see them picking through on my card?:) sweet!♥

Since the background of my card is so busy,  I stamped my sentiment on a plain cardstock and that will give it’s way to shine.♥

I hope this will inspire you today and keep on creating!:)

And oh! Have you seen our newest product in the shop? If you missed my announcement, you may check it here.♥

Thanks for stopping by!
