Hello everyone! Dyane here. ^_^ If you followed the blog since last year, you probably remember this gift tags/note tags tutorial that I posted. That was so fun to make! So I thought to create something similar using the newest set Little One. I hope you’ll enjoy!

Before I go into details of each tag, let’s take a quick look on all 4 tags that I made. Here we go!^_^

Yay! What do you guys think?  Do you like it so far?^_^ Ok, so let me start with the different shapes of my tag.  I used my cricut to make those tags, I only have few cartridges but I’m so glad they have tags included. They are all cut in 3″, pretty good size for a gift tag or simply add it on the top of your card base.

One of the reason why I love adding baby borders on most of our collections, is because it’s an instant element that gives a nice touch on your projects. I combined all of the borders and splatters from Little One, Positive Thoughts, Christmas, and Mom & Dad stamp sets. Using different colors of ink pads will surely brighten up your project.

I don’t own any colored markers, if I do need to color small parts I always borrow my daughter’s colored pencils(heehee). But, I do have different papers to play with, so why not use it? Paper piecing is a great option for me. Aside from giving more texture to the image, I was able to use my papers more than usual.(lol)

On to my first tag, I stamp my image first, then paper pieced it.  Added some fun borders on the top and bottom, I thought it would be interesting to add my sentiment on the side too. For my polka dots I used the same ink as my sentiment, but I stamped it first on a scratch paper and then stamp it on my tag to get a lighter color. Then added my fun splatters.

Here I stamped my sentiment using an emerald green ink, color of the year!^_^ I added dimensionals on this to pop out.  And to add more colors, I have a piece of scrap paper left laying on my table, so hey! I thought I’ll throw it on my tag as well and join the fun!^_^

Photopolymer stamps are so fun to work with, because you can position them anywhere you want. Here I bent my dashed line border to have that curved look, as well as my sentiment.^_^ I used my scraps again in making my banners and then staple it on the top, I did use some dimensionals for these as well so that it’s higher that my sentiment below it. I really love my stamped polka dots.♥

And lastly, my baby bear, the cutest thing ever! I stamped it on a piece of orange patterned paper first, and then I stamped another bear on a green patterned paper, but this time I wiped off the ink  on the “I ♥  Hugs” sentiment on his tummy, that way I can stamp the “Bundle of joy” sentiment instead. I cut out the tummy part of the green paper, and placed it over the orange paper. I paper pieced the bow as well.^_^

Yay!  I really like the color combination of green and coral for these tags.
