Happy 4th of July! – Celebrate Card

Hello stampers! Are you guys ready for July 4th?:) I know most of you are pretty much done preparing for the party celebration.  I have a celebrate card to share, pretty easy to make.^_^

Now, let’s jump onto the process of this card.♥

  • I started with a white card base (I know right? where’s my kraft?lol). I stamped my “fireworks”  and stars using, guess what?:) Little One stamp set. cute!^_^ Blue and red inks and you’re done!
  • But I wanted my card to have a softer look. And I was going back and forth whether to add it or not, you can’t probably tell from the photo, but I ended up adding a vellum.
  • I barely use vellum in my projects, I found it challenging to stamp (unless I embossed on it, then it’s ok with me.^_^). But whatever, I’ll give it another try anyway. So……
  • I added a clear glue on every edges of the cardbase, and put my vellum on top of it.
  • After cutting the excess vellum around, I distressed the edges using the broken china distress ink by ranger.
  • And here comes my favorite part , stamping on vellum! (yeah right?lol)
  • Using the same distress ink, I grabbed my borders from Christmas and Positive Thoughts stamp sets. Carefully I stamped each one of them. Wheew!
  • I then stamped my sentiment “celebrate” from the Birthday stamp set. I added a piece of scrap paper at the bottom for some interest.
  • I stamped more stars as well randomly on the vellum. Now you can see the difference between the softer and the sharper stars.
  • Lastly, I thought it would be fun to add some staples around, so that’s what I did!♥
  • Hooray! I did it! I call it done!^_^

Have a happy holiday! Thanks for joining me today. Don’t forget, Join us on Friday July 5,2013 for our new stamp release + giveaway!

Enjoy the day!

Baby Gift Tags / Note Tags

Hello everyone! Dyane here. ^_^ If you followed the blog since last year, you probably remember this gift tags/note tags tutorial that I posted. That was so fun to make! So I thought to create something similar using the newest set Little One. I hope you’ll enjoy!

Before I go into details of each tag, let’s take a quick look on all 4 tags that I made. Here we go!^_^

Yay! What do you guys think?  Do you like it so far?^_^ Ok, so let me start with the different shapes of my tag.  I used my cricut to make those tags, I only have few cartridges but I’m so glad they have tags included. They are all cut in 3″, pretty good size for a gift tag or simply add it on the top of your card base.

One of the reason why I love adding baby borders on most of our collections, is because it’s an instant element that gives a nice touch on your projects. I combined all of the borders and splatters from Little One, Positive Thoughts, Christmas, and Mom & Dad stamp sets. Using different colors of ink pads will surely brighten up your project.

I don’t own any colored markers, if I do need to color small parts I always borrow my daughter’s colored pencils(heehee). But, I do have different papers to play with, so why not use it? Paper piecing is a great option for me. Aside from giving more texture to the image, I was able to use my papers more than usual.(lol)

On to my first tag, I stamp my image first, then paper pieced it.  Added some fun borders on the top and bottom, I thought it would be interesting to add my sentiment on the side too. For my polka dots I used the same ink as my sentiment, but I stamped it first on a scratch paper and then stamp it on my tag to get a lighter color. Then added my fun splatters.

Here I stamped my sentiment using an emerald green ink, color of the year!^_^ I added dimensionals on this to pop out.  And to add more colors, I have a piece of scrap paper left laying on my table, so hey! I thought I’ll throw it on my tag as well and join the fun!^_^

Photopolymer stamps are so fun to work with, because you can position them anywhere you want. Here I bent my dashed line border to have that curved look, as well as my sentiment.^_^ I used my scraps again in making my banners and then staple it on the top, I did use some dimensionals for these as well so that it’s higher that my sentiment below it. I really love my stamped polka dots.♥

And lastly, my baby bear, the cutest thing ever! I stamped it on a piece of orange patterned paper first, and then I stamped another bear on a green patterned paper, but this time I wiped off the ink  on the “I ♥  Hugs” sentiment on his tummy, that way I can stamp the “Bundle of joy” sentiment instead. I cut out the tummy part of the green paper, and placed it over the orange paper. I paper pieced the bow as well.^_^

Yay!  I really like the color combination of green and coral for these tags.

May these projects inspire  you to create something  today.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Have a great day!

These cards are pretty artsy. What do you guys think?^_^ I love the mix of fun colors and those splatters are just so fun to stamp!

( Stamps: Thanks and Positive Thoughts )

Are you seeing another non-kraft card from me? lol I know I use a lot of kraft paper for my card base. But look at those pretty pastel splatters, they look so sweet on a white paper.

Most of our collections have fun borders included, it’s because I love adding elements on my cards. I hope you’re enjoying it too!  You’ll see more of it in our future stamp set for sure.♥ Those border stitch that you see in this card is from our Christmas Stamp Set, looove the borders on that set. ♥

( Stamps: Christmas , Positive Thoughts , Thanks )

I hope I inspire you today. Now it’s your turn to ink up your Precious Remembrance Stamps and have fun playing!

My next projects will be using our newest set “Little One“, so stay tune for that.

Create It Wednesday { the border}

Welcome to Create It Wednesday!  So excited to share with you a little ensemble of stamped goodness today, featuring Precious Remembrance border stamps.  I have fallen for the variety of border stamps that come with each set.  With so many possibilities, it is time to take them out and create your own patterned paper.

Each piece of cardstock was created using a randomly stamped pattern, a little from each set.  The sentiments are from the Positive Thoughts and the new Mom & Dad collections.  I love the inspirational sentiments PR has to offer and thought of this flower tag fixed with a folded label on the backside to prop up in your work space.

The card features the same type of repetitive border stamping, but includes the “you’re the best” stamp from the new collection.  Love the softness of the patterns which do not overwhelm the design once the piece is embellished.

Hope you enjoyed the project today!

Thanks! { Thank You Cards }

Hello stampers! Are you doing any crafty projects today? I hope you’re having a blast!^_^

I will be sharing few more cards using the Thanks Stamp Set. If you got this set, you can always check our gallery to see and get inspired with all of the projects that our Design Team made for you. Tons of awesomeness! Now, on to the card.^_^

Here’s how I made it:

  • Standard size card base.
  • Cover it with a patterned paper of your choice.
  • Stamp the “x” border stamp on a kraft cardstock.
  • Stamp the word finder stamp on a cream cardstock.
  • Adhere the Kraft paper at the center of the card, and off to the right side will be the word finder element.
  • Add some cute buttons.
  • Round the corners.
  • Finished!

Here’s my second card, I mixed it with some borders from the Christmas Stamp Set.  That set is adorable! We make sure that each of sets are versatile, it’s not Christmas anymore but don’t be scared to use this set if you have it, since those borders are perfect with any projects. Check it out!

Here’s how I made it:

  • Standard size card base.
  • Starting from the bottom of the card, grab your borders from both stamp sets and a dark brown ink. Then start stamping!
  • Find some cute patterned paper of your choice, adhere it on the left side of the card, overlapping the borders.
  • Layer a pretty floral fabric tape over that patterned paper to add some sweet touch!
  • Grab some neutral paper and adhere it at the center of the card.
  • Time to put some flowers and button!
  • Stamp your sentiment on the top along with the border.
  • Round the corners
  • Finished!

Let me know what you think with these two cards.Easy right?^_^ Don’t forget, you can share your projects to us in our facebook page using any of our sets.^_^

I added some 1″ circles at the center and stamp my stitching line there. How cute right?!^_^

I stamped my thank you border on a white paper and then ripped the side of it for a washi tape look.

Pretty simple and fun! What do you guys think?^_^

Create It Wednesday {funny faces}

We are continuing our celebration for the new release of the “Thanks” Stamp Set and hope you are able to join along.  Today’s scrapbook layout was inspired by all of the amazing variety Precious Remembrance has in border stamps (including Thanks, Christmas and Positive Thoughts).

Begin by adding the borders in a random vertical pattern on the white cardstock.  Create interest by using lighter colors then giving the “x” border priority using a slightly darker color.  A perfect time to use the Positive Thoughts stamp set paint splatter and rings.  Layer embellishment stickers, chipboard, etc onto your layout after adhering the photos.  Then it is time to add a few more stamped images, such as the “adorable” stamp and hearts.

Create It Wednesday {just right merry & bright}

We are counting in the single digits until Christmas morning and there may be a few holiday gifts needing to be created for friends, family and (for us here) teachers.  After sifting through a few boxes of embellishment pieces in the craft room, I pulled together a few items to create a keepsake ornament and card that can be created quickly.

Used the Christmas and Positive Thought stamp sets to complete the card.  Added a bit of glossy accent to the cut out stamped heart for added sparkle and dimension.  Enjoy your holidays and see you back here at Create It Wednesday soon!
