Design It Monday

Hi there! Lisa here today with a bright and happy project to start your week. I’ve used the Daily Thoughts and New Day stamp sets on one of the white bags from the shop for today’s project.

This came together in a snap. First up was the stamping of the three red paint swipes followed with the yellow. Then I inked up the small and medium dotted circles followed with the tiny star clusters.

I chose black ink for the sentiment to be sure it stood out. The die cut bird was created with the large circle splatter (New Day stamp set).

To be sure the tails of the bow held there positions, I added ultra thin pieces of Scor -Tape here and there. The center of the bow was added to the bag with a glue dot.

Isn’t this fun! I’ll be tucking in a watercolor paint set to send my granddaughter some happy mail.

Design It Monday

Hello and welcome! I have a card for you today featuring the Daily Thoughts stamp set. This one would work for several occasions. Or even for no occasion at all, just to let someone know they’ve been in your thoughts. It went together pretty quickly, take a look…

Project_20190619_0003 copy

Using a ruler, I drew light pencil lines on a white panel on the diagonal. Next I stamped the word ‘currently’ using the grid marks on my acrylic block for placement. I followed up with the star clusters. Again, I used the pencil lines and grid marks for placement. After the lines were erased I popped this onto the pink polka dot panel then onto the card base. A few embellies from my stash worked perfectly as accents.

The rest of the sentiment is on the inside.

I’ll send this out to someone special the next time they pop into my mind.

Who knows, it could be you!

Design It Monday ~ {Enjoy the Moment}

Hey there PRS friends! Are you of the Cassette tape generation?  Isn’t it funny how times and technology change. Records, 8 tracks, cassettes, CDs, Ipods. Yep, I’ve lived through them all. Here’s a little blast from the past for you.

Project_20190609_0001 copy

I’ve used the cassette image from the Daily Thoughts set, stamped twice and trimmed out. I love the little star clusters in this set. Some snippets of patterned paper added interest without too much fuss.

My son and I just had a conversation the other day about the music he would put on as I drove him to school.  Some of the cassettes became our favorites (othere’s were eye rollers!!) and we still laugh at the memories of this mom getting to know her son’s music. As this sentiment says, I enjoyed the moment and let the music play, liking the song …or not *wink!

Happy Days Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy Friday stampers! I hope you had a great week! My week was pretty busy with work, but I manage to scrapbook a layout for fun. One night a week, I like to create something. It helps me handle my stress. I created this layout for Pinkfresh Studio’s May challenge. And because I love how pretty the stamps look, I thought I’d take a minute to share it with you!

love_precious remembrance shop_june2019 001

I used two different stamps sets to create this colorful layout. I used the “a picture makes every moment last forever” sentiment inside the frame that’s part of the Journey Stamp Set and the stars are from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set. I colored a piece of white cardstock using some pink, yellow and orange watercolor paints. Once everything was mounted down on the layout, I splashed some red and white mist all over the layout.

I used the Nocturne and Glamorous VersaFine Clair ink on this layout. Both are available in the Precious Remembrance Shop! Love how crisp these inks are! I accidentally smeared the sentiment at the bottom. To fix it so it wouldn’t be so noticeable, I used a black pen to touch it up.

Love how happy this layout looks with the bright, pretty colors…and the dogs are simply adorable. They are my Mother-In-Law’s dogs. 🙂

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you have a fun weekend~

That’s All Layout by Nicole Martel

i everyone. I’ve been playing with my stamps again, having a blast. A few weeks ago, I snapped this photo of my son after he finished reading. He was so exhausted from school that day and then I made him read before bed… it did not take him long to fall asleep. I love watching him sleep. When he’s asleep, he looks so precious and innocent. However, when he’s awake, he’s energetic, crazy and exhausting…LOL

that's all_april2019 001

To begin, I used a few stamps (Totally Stamp Set, Daily Thoughts, DIY Stamp Set) to decorate the  background. Then, I splashed some Glimmer Mist to the background. Once I was satisfied with the background, I cut a strip of patterned paper to help frame the photo and mounted both of them to the base. I completed the layout by adding a few stickers and gems here and there.

I used foam squares to mount the photo to the layout to add dimension to the layout since most of the layout was flat due to the stickers and stamps.

I fussy cut the circle from patterned paper then embellished it with a cork heart from Pretty Little Studio. I used a black pen and a ruler to add the scribbles and line.

I totally love the big title and that font! It’s so perfect for this layout, considering the fact that Edward always says, “that’s all” for tonight…when he is finished reading for 20-30 minutes.

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Too Cute!

Hi stampers! It’s great to be back after the busy holiday season. I have my first project for this year. Woohoo!:)

It’s never too early to start creating cute cards for Valentine’s Day. You can also use this layout for your scrapbooking pages. Totally cute!

I used the following stamp sets and Neon inks to complete this card:

STAMPS: Happy Art, Daily Thoughts, Little Things

I used the big circle stamp from the Happy Art stamp set to create a nice touch of design for the base of my card, using a light pink ink. Those circle stamp images from the Little Things stamp set totally reminded me of candies with those neon colored inks.:) I can’t finish it without adding some splatters of stars around, I had fun stamping the stars from the Daily Thoughts stamp set. Now this card is ready for my goodie bag with chocolates!

I had fun making this card. I hope you can try it out!:)

Thanks for joining me today. Happy Stamping!

Inspire Me Friday – {Something New & A Year in Review}

Hello everyone!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!  Rosemary here with my final Inspire Me Friday post for the year.   This post is a little bittersweet as this is also my final post as a member of the Precious Remembrance Design team.  I want to thank Dyane to asking me to rejoin the team this year.  It has been a lot of fun designing with Precious Remembrance Shop stamps over the last year, but sadly I must say goodbye.  My final project is one combining the Everyday stamp set with the Coffee Love stamp set.

prs coffee 2

For this card I decided to use a piece of embossed rose gold paper from a pad I recently picked.  The papers are from DCWV and the pad has glitter papers in it, these embossed ones, metallic and several others.  I just fell in love with the embossed paper and had to use it.  I simply cut two pieces and adhered them to a panel of white cardstock that I had die cut with a rectangle die.  To make my coffee cup I first stamped some white cardstock with the swipes background image from Everyday using Memento Desert Sand ink.   I then stamped the coffee cup from Coffee Love over the stamping with VersaMark watermark ink and embossed it using copper embossing powder.  Did that again for the center band of the cup as well as the lid.   I trimmed out all the pieces and before adhered them I stamped the heart circle image from Coffee Love on the band with the Desert Sand ink and then stamped the sentiment from Everyday in VersaFine CLAIR  Nocturne over the top.   The band and the lid were adhered with foam tape and then the cup was attached to the card front.   A clean and simple, but somewhat elegant birthday card!

Now that I have shared my final project with you I would like to share my favorite projects from the last year.   First up is a card I made using the Daily Thoughts stamp set along with items from the Daily Thoughts Bits & Pieces pack.prs card

This next project uses several different PRS stamp sets.  The fun Sketchy Alphabet, Positive Thoughts and Blossom.  Love the clean and simple design!

Another favorite project from this past year is this card.  This card uses images from DIY and Little Things.

Do you see a pattern forming?  Most of my favorites center around stamping!  This next project is full of stamping with another favorite PRS set, Fall Colors.

My last project is probably my most favorite and I think showcases perfectly just how much fun you can have with PRS stamp sets!  This card was made with the Beware stamp set, New Day stamp set and one of my go to PRS stamp sets:  Positive Thoughts.

I hope I inspired you to pull out your Precious Remembrance Shop stamp sets and start mixing and matching to see what you can create!  Have a very happy new year!

Design It Monday ~ (Thinking of You!}

Hello friends! Lisa here today with a couple of bright and happy cards to share. I like to keep a few cards on hand with what I call a generic sentiment. A card to lift a friend’s spirits, a last minute birthday card or just to let someone know they’ve been on my mind. That last thought is just the case with my first card, Thinking of You.

Project_20180806_0003 copy

This one started with a white panel and the star splatters from the Journey Stamp Set. I used several colors of bright cheerful inks turning the stamp in different directions to achieve my overall pattern. Next came a die cut window to create the shaker element. Before putting the shaker together, I stamped the sentiment (Daily Thoughts Stamp Set). The shaker is filled with buttons, confetti and sequins.

Not wanting that little die cut square to go to waste, I created a second card.

Project_20180806_0004 copy

Once again I started with a white panel and the same die cut opening. This time I filled the opening with the leftover stamped square that included a sentiment from the Blossom Stamp Set. I chose the card base color from the inlaid piece to continue the bright happy look.

A fun pair of cards to have in my stash, don’tcha think!
