{Inspire Me Friday} Birthday Planner Pages

Hello, everyone!  It’s Judy here with my first installment of {Inspire Me Friday} featuring the newest release Date stamp set.

When I received this stamp set, I knew it was time to take the plunge into making my own planner.  My 16-year-daughter started a “bullet journal” around the same time, so we have been giving each other ideas, searching Pinterest, and having a lot of fun together!

I decided to make a two-page spread in order to keep track of birthdays each month.  I started with March, and I had a great time pairing up the Date stamp set with a few other favorites from Precious Remembrance Shop (listed below).

I started out by stamping the heading box.  Next, I drew the lines with a fine tip Sharpie.  I stamped the month and the dates in green ink (in honor of St. Patrick’s Day).

Next, I drew two cascading pencil lines in order to create banners spanning both pages.  Once I stamped the mini flags (from the Oh So Fun stamp set), I drew a dashed line with my Sharpie, then erased the pencil.

I used the splatters from the DIY stamp set across the bottom of both pages, then finished it off with the large circles and sentiment from the Positive Thoughts stamp set.

Once I finished all of my stamping, I went back and filled in the family and friend birthdays for the month.  Here is how the finished project looks now:

I am still a “newbie” when it comes to planners, and I enjoy learning as I go.  I am having fun with this versatile new release Date stamp set, and it is so fun to mix and match all of my PRS stamps with it!

I’d love to see what you are making with this set…be sure to post your creations at Precious Remembrance Shop Instagram page using #preciousremembranceshop or #preciousremembrancestamps.  I know I would love to learn more ways to use this set in my planner!

Different shades of….. / Look at the bright side!

Hi stampers! Yay! I can’t believe it’s almost summer time.  How was your half of the year so far?:) Oh time flies ~ June is here!

Today’s project is simply fresh. When I see color green, for me it is refreshing, so natural- just like nature. It’s not my most favorite color, but I always adore it!

Here I played with different shades of green inks, stamped my feather image from our DIY stamp set, sentiment from New Day stamp set, and bright triangles from Happy Art stamp set.

I also splattered some green and pink watercolors to make it more playful! I love it!♥

Let me know what you think with this card!:)

Just a quick reminder: Orders between June 9 – 20, 2016 will be shipped on June 21, 2016. Thank you for your understanding!:)

Thanks for joining me today!

Happy stamping!:)

Design It Monday ~ { A Spooky Ride!}

Hello and welcome to another Design It Monday! Today I’ve turned the cute little bus from the new School Days Stamp Set into a spooky ride!

After stamping the bus onto white card stock, I die cut it with a stitched banner die. Using the spider web from the Beware Stamp Set, I gave the kiddos some creepy crawly friends to ride along with! This was done by inking up the portion of the stamp I wanted, then carefully wiping off the other areas with a baby wipe. I masked off the windows with Washi Tape, then stamped the webs.

I thought it would be fun to add a few reactions to those spiders in the form of a speech bubble. I added the “Eeeeks” from the Beware Stamp Set.  Star splatters (Journey Stamp Set) in Soft Stone ink bring the color of the card base forward. The chevron/arrows from the DIY Stamp Set give the illusion of a road/direction.

As you can see here, I have dimension on the school bus! The second layer had the wheels cut off so they appear more deep set. And the front layer is just the headlight and grill portion. To spook it up a little, I added the beware sign and big spider (both from the Beware Stamp Set) to the headlight!

Oh So Artsy! Snow + Coffee Love

Hi stampers!:) How are you today? We had a light snow the other night, so the next morning we had a pretty snow on our yard. My kids got excited and played outside that morning, and the snow started to melt just after noon.lol  During winter time, it couldn’t be any better having a nice warm drink! Coffee for me! How about you?:)

Oh! just feeling so artsy today and inspired by different things, I chose these pretty simple color combo: black & white. No patterned paper this time (lol ok.. just a little bit of designer paper,at the center of my coffee cup for paper piecing). And the rest are just stamps.:)

Here are the stamps that I used for my background:

New Day, DIY, Positive Thoughts, Fall Colors.

I had a blasts mixed and matching these stamps.:)

I stamped my coffee cup using the Coffee Love stamp set, and cut it out . I added some sentiments from This Moment stamp set. And that mini arrow border is from the Love Coupon stamp set. I love little details, that makes a lot of difference.:)

Added some dimensionals at the back of my image and some sewing thread for more texture. Using the same black ink (memento tuxedo black), I distressed the edges of my card as well.

I also want to share with you that there is a Coffee Lover’s Blog hop going on, thanks to designer Judy for the head’s up!:) Whether you love coffee or not. Some of you might be interested in joining the challenge and win some amazing prizes. If you have the Coffee Love stamp set, it’s the best time to ink it up again and join the fun!

I hope you got inspired for today’s project.

Valentine’s Day / Hello / Everyday Card

Hi stampers!:) I’m back with my very first project for this year! Woohoo!

While waiting for our next release, I thought I’ll make a card that is perfect for the upcoming occasion which is Valentine’s Day. However, I also want this card to be a perfect everyday card with a touch of sweetness to it:) If you know what I mean!lol

I combined a lot of stamps from different Precious Remembrance sets, so let me break it down for you:

Pink Striped Border: Beware

Blue Polka dot Border: Border Tape #1

Sentiment + Black Circle Stain: Positive Thoughts

Light Pink Splatters + Arrows: DIY

I also added different colors of distress markers inside the arrows. Lovin’ those pop of colors!:) And to finished it off, I punched out some glittered hearts, added some staples at the center for more texture. And paired it with pink enamel dots. This card is really fun to make!:)

I hope you enjoyed today’s project. Thanks for joining me.:)

Happy Crafting!

{Inspire Me Friday} Open If You Dare…

Hello, PR fans!  Happy to be here with you today sharing a fun card that was a delight to make.  I had fun layering a couple fun sentiments from the BEWARE set…

You can see a few little ink splats from the DIY set there, too, along with some veneer stars colored with a black Copic.  Next is a fun embellishment I used as the focal point.  I mentioned in an earlier post that the circle images in the set are perfect for bottle cap embellishments, and that’s what I’ve made here…

The trim was made by cutting strips of the purple and black crepe paper to the same length (mine was a couple feet…I wanted enough to play around a little!), stacking them together, and folding them in half.  Next you stitch close to that fold line to hold all your layers together, and then snip away to create the fringe.  A little separating and fluffing, along with some sparkly mist, and you’re done!  I wrapped my trim around this bottle cap twice to create more fullness.  I love how the little plastic dome finishes it off so nicely!

You can see I used the little ‘Trick or Treat’ border from the set on the top portion.  The rest of the card is pretty simple and self explanatory, but if you have any questions…I’d be happy to answer!  So glad you could drop in today!  Stay tuned, as we have a little something special planned for later in the weekend here on the blog!!!

{Crafty Sunday} bundle of joy

Happy Sunday!  Time to begin another week to work a bit, hopefully laugh a bunch and don’t forget your creative side.   This past week I spent a little time working on this card set, using as many stamps as I possibly and loving it.  From the border stamps to the cute baby buggy and stars, think I may have fit in just enough, so lets break it down.

Here are the sets that I used to create this card:

To begin stamp the base of the card/cardstock with layers of border stamps and paint splatter stamps.  Paint and stamp the chipboard piece and add rope to the top corner then adhere to the front of the card.  Lay thread on top of chipboard piece before pocket is added. Stamp and adhere kraft pocket on top of chipboard piece.   Stamp tab using border tape stamp, but out and staple to pocket.  Stamp stars and buggy onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to front of card.  (Note:  I used a border tape stamp on the buggy to add more detail.)  Thread and Adhere buttons to the buggy.  Stamp “celebrate” onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to card.  Add beads to card.

Created a gift pocket for the card using a brown paper bag using similar sets, but also used the “Holiday Wishes” set to stamp white on the bag.  That completes this project.  Hope you are having a relaxing day and enjoy your week.

{Crafty Sunday} good in everyday

Welcome fellow crafters to my first “Crafty Sunday” post!  So excited to be back to creating with my favorite stamps along with so many amazing designers.   When sitting down in my creative space with all of the Precious Remembrance stamps at my finger tips my mind went in a few different directions.  Today I wanted to share one of the ideas with you using basic supplies with the stamps to create something with a lot of color and spunk.

With just a cardstock mini album, paper, tape, thread and a few other items you can quickly create your own.  Begin by cutting paper to fit the outer cover of the album, stitch layers and adhere to the ablum.  Add tape at the binding.  Stamp paint drops from the DIY stamp set (in red).  Add glittered resin embellishments.  Stamp sentiment from the New Day stamp set, cut and adhere to the front of the album.  Lay thread on front of album.   Stamp pinwheels using the Oh So Fun pennant stamps, cut and adhere using foam dots.

One of my most favorite stamp sets, if I had to pick one which is nearly impossible, is the Border Tape #1 set.  Used these to create flag tags to add to each page.

There you have our first “Craft Sunday” project.  Hope you enjoyed this post and you are finding a way to add a little craftiness to your day!
