Hello friends! Welcome back to our little creative corner!♥ Are you ready for the holidays coming up? Thanksgiving is just around the corner and Christmas too! Are your Christmas cards ready to go? If not, no worries!
Here’s a quick video tutorial on how you can create an easy Christmas card using a couple of our stamp sets.
As we count down the last days until Christmas, we don’t want to forget about those thank you cards! I put together this little number with some bits and pieces I had leftover. It all began with a polka dot tag.
After decideding on the placement of the tag, I stamped my sentiment (Thanks stamp set) three times. I had several pine pieces (Oh Christmas stamp set) stamped and fussy cut. I added them to some leftover snowflake die cuts then glued them to the polka dot tag.
My happy little sweet peas (Sweet Pea stamp set) with their sparkly hats became my snowflake centers and focal point. I added them with thick foam dots and love the way they look!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Hi there! I’m back with another Christmas card for this week’s Design It Monday. Today’s card features the Sketchy Christmas stamp set.
I started with the background. Using some paper from my stash, I randomly stamped one of the trees creating my own patterned paper. After adhering it to a cream card base, I added a coordinating panel of striped paper.
My focal image is the same tree, just jazzed up!
I used the scribbly image from the stamp set as a garland.
Isn’t it fun!
I coordinated my sentiment color with my textured layer.
Thankful, grateful, happy, delighted, pleased…just a few words to express how I feel about your love and support here on the PRS blog. I’ve created this card for all of you.
I used the Fall Colors stamp set (one of my absolute favorites!) to create today’s card. All three leaf images were inked up and randomly stamped onto and ivory panel. I embossed some of the little splatters with Versa Mark ink and gold embossing powder. After die cutting the panel, it was added to a dry embossed card base. The sentiment was also gold embossed then framed with the cute sketchy rectangle from the set.
See what I mean? Isn’t this a beautiful stamp set!
I would like to wish all of you from the US a Happy Thanksgiving!
To all of our other friends, I wish you happiness!
Hello friends, welcome to another installment of Design It Monday! I have a quick and simple Christmas card for you today where I’ve made the sentiment my focal point. Take a look…
I’ve used the large pretty sentiment from the Oh Christmas stamp set. It was stamped with evergreen ink, then die cut with an older Spellbinders die. I added pine here and there around the edges. The same ink was used, but it was stamped off first to give a lighter appearance.
I added a panel of patterned paper to the card base before popping the die cut on. This went together quickly and is a perfect solution for mass production cards!
September is flying by at lightening speed! That means Halloween is right around the corner. You still have time to pick up your Beware Stamp Set in plenty of time to get inky. There’s no time like the present, it’s on sale! Here’s a little inspiration for you using that very set.
Using the colors in the patterned paper as my jumping off point, I stamped three of the circle images. They’re punched out and two were added to the card with foam tape. Those yellow eyes on the PP make this just spooky enough!
There are oodles of fun images in this set with endless possibilities!
Our end of summer sales runs through September 30th.
I’m not quite ready to go full out autumn yet, but those days are fast approaching us. The bright beautiful September skies and cooling temperatures did give me a little nudge though. Here’s a not too spooky Halloween card for you in case you need one too!
I pulled out my picket fence die again to give my smiling Jack-o-lantern (Beware stamp set) a resting place. He’s fussy cut to remove the outer sketchy lines. The fence also provided a perfect spot for the sentiment (Beware stamp set). While there are several layers on this card, the lines are clean keeping it from being too busy.
Hi friends! Lisa back today with another installment of Design It Monday. I have a bright and happy thank you card. Check it out…
I started with a scrap of white card stock and the thanks image from the School Days stamp set. After stamping the image in a bright and happy green, I trimmed it down and die cut one edge. I added this to my card base stamped with an image from the previously released Blossom stamp set. I stamped the blooms with Versa Mark ink then clear embossed them. Layered die cut hearts and sweet wooden apple buttons I bought on Etsy finish things off.
