Design It Monday ~ {No tricks, just treats}!

Hey there! It’s Lisa here today sharing a fun idea for a quick and simple Halloween goodie bag. Why buy pre-made bags when you can jazz up one of our Plain-White or Plain-Kraft Flat Paper Bags from the shop.

Project_20190915_0001-2 copy

First up, I added a strip of Washi Tape to the bag. Next came the stamped star splatters from the Journey Stamp Set. Using a circle die cut border, I stamped three images from the Beware Stamp Set set using a smokey gray ink.  I stamped and punched out two orange Jack-o-lanterns then added them to the strip with foam tape. The strip of circles begins and ends with a star from the Totally Stamp Set. No circle border die, no problem. Just use punches or die cut circles for the same look.

I finished things off with two Trick or Treats sentiments (Beware Stamp Set) and some glossy bat stickers from my stash.

Add those treats and you’re good to go!

Smile Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy Friday friends! Today, I’m sharing a layout I created using stamps from the Journey Stamp Set. I was in the mood to create a mixed media layout and these were perfect for embellishing this layout!

smile_ 001

To begin, I used my Silhouette Portrait to create a stencil for the background using heavy cardstock, Paige Evan’s Heart Confetti Background digital cut file and some molding paste! Super fun!

Once the paste was completely dry, I splashed some watercolor paints all over the background. Then I stamped the “a picture makes every moment last forever” onto patterned paper and then cut it out using scissors to create my own die cut.

I used Paige Evan’s floral digial cut file to help pull the bottom together with a few more die cuts, buttons from the shop and some more sentimental stamps at the bottom.

I had such a fun time creating this layout using a selfie photo I took on the beach back in May. ūüôā It was our first warm weekend and I took advantage of it!

Thanks so much for visiting today!

Enjoy the Journey Layout by Nicole Martel

Good morning stampers! Who’s ready for summer?! We have had some weird weather this year in Maryland… I am looking forward to warmer, sunny days on the beach. But until then, let me share with you, this fun, summer layout I created using the¬†DIY Stamp Set¬†and the¬†Journey Stamp Set.

enjoy the journey_precious remembrance shop_june2019 001 (1)

I used the arrow’s from the¬†DIY Stamp Set¬†to create a fun border vertically down the left-side of the layout.

Then I clustered some stickers, die cuts and chipboard pieces to frame the photos.

I used the tiny arrow stamp from the Journey Stamp Set to create another border below the collage of photos.

Then I used a few sentimental stamps from the Journey Stamp Set to stamp within the clouds, using a few foam squares to add dimension.

What are you looking forward to doing this summer?

Fabulous Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy¬†Wednesday stampers! I’m back with another fun layout I created using the DIY Stamp Set, Happy Art Stamp Set and the Journey Stamp Set. I don’t always plan to use different stamp sets on my layouts, but the truth is, when I’m creating, I don’t have a real plan on the design. I just pull out papers, embellishments and start creating. And while I’m creating, I realize what I need so I look through my stamps to see what I can use to fill in the white space on my layout.

For this layout, I used Pinkfresh Studio’s Joyful Days collection to embellish this layout. To begin, I stamped the scribble circle from the HAPPY ART STAMP SET onto white cardstock in two spots. I had a general idea as to where I wanted to place the photo so I was careful where I stamped because I wanted the scribbles to peak out behind the photo.

I used the tiny paint splatter stamp from the DIY STAMP SET at the bottom just below the enamel dots.

Preciouse Remembrance Shop has buttons and Bits and Pieces to help embellish any project. I used them on here.

What do you think? Are you ready to add to your stamp collection? I am slowly building up my stamp collection and inks!

Go Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy stamping everyone! I have another fun layout to share with you today using the Sketchy Alphabet and Journey Stamp Set. Initially, I only intended on using the filmstrip¬† stamp and the “enjoy the journey”, however, my projects always turn out completely different from what I have planned. But in a good way. ūüôā My sister Katie moved to Colorado back in November and I am really missing her… So until I see her in a few weeks, I will have to settle with making pretty layouts for her.

go_precious remembrance shop_vid 001

I mounted the camera sticker that’s available in the shop at the bottom of the layout using a foam square. Love how these camera stickers are white because they can be colored using markers to make them work for just about any project.

I stamped the background using blue, green and pink ink along with the filmstrip stamp. Then I decided at the last minute… to add “go” to all the boxes using the Sketchy Alphabet Stamps. I colored them in using a blue marker.

I cut the “heart this” banner from the Today¬†paper snippets and adhered it to the top of the photo. Then I stamped the “Enjoy the journey” sentiment below it using black ink.

To embellish the layout, I added a few embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio and Maya Road. Love the kraft butterflies!

I used molding pink paint to paint part of the layout pink then created the flowers using a stencil and molding paste.

Here’s a process video for this layout!

I Love It Layout by Nicole Martel

Hi friends! Nicole here with a colorful layout I created using the Happy Art Stamp Set and Journey Stamp Set. I love how FaceBook shows my favorite memories over the years. This photo popped up in my feed from almost 8 years ago and it’s still a favorite of mine! Edward has always been a HAPPY boy even as a baby. And he absolutely loves the beach! I get my best photos when he’s at the beach. ūüôā

To begin, I used the stars stamp from the Journey Stamp Set to create a fun background for my layout.

Once I was happy with the background, I used used the scribbles stamp from the Happy Art Stamp Set to add a few scribbles. I love this stamp set! It’s my favorite.

Since I did not have lime green cardstock, I used lime green ink to stamp around the edges of a 3 1/2″x 31/2″ piece of cardstock. It totally worked!

I stamped the film strip image from the Journey Stamp Set onto white cardstock and then cut it out with a pair of scissors to create a fun, side border.

To complete the layout, I added some snippets here and there along with a few other embellishments I found in my stash!

Here is a video so you can see how I created this layout from start to finish. Super simple, but fun!

Happy Days Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy Friday stampers! I hope you had a great week! My week was pretty busy with work, but I manage to scrapbook a layout for fun. One night a week, I like to create something. It helps me handle my stress. I created this layout for Pinkfresh Studio’s May challenge. And because I love how pretty the stamps look, I thought I’d take a minute to share it with you!

love_precious remembrance shop_june2019 001

I used two different stamps sets to create this colorful layout. I used the “a picture makes every moment last forever” sentiment inside the frame that’s part of the Journey Stamp Set and the stars are from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set. I colored a piece of white cardstock using some pink, yellow and orange watercolor paints. Once everything was mounted down on the layout, I splashed some red and white mist all over the layout.

I used the Nocturne and Glamorous VersaFine Clair ink on this layout. Both are available in the Precious Remembrance Shop! Love how crisp these inks are! I accidentally smeared the sentiment at the bottom. To fix it so it wouldn’t be so noticeable, I used a black pen to touch it up.

Love how happy this layout looks with the bright, pretty colors…and the dogs are simply adorable. They are my Mother-In-Law’s dogs. ūüôā

Thanks for visiting today. I hope you have a fun weekend~

Totally Layout by Nicole Martel

Good morning! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! I’m here to brighten your week…literally…with this fun, bright, and colorful layout! I’ve been¬†waiting to use a lot of the stamps from the “Totally Stamp Set” for sometime now. you're totally cool kid_april 2019 001

I created this layout one morning and I just started stamping the images in different colors onto white cardstock. Then, I splashed some lime green mist on top of the stamped images. I used a few different color markers to fill in the triangles and the stars.

I used the “9” from the Sketchy Alphabet stamp to stamp Edward’s age in the circle. I wanted to fill in as much of the white space that I possibly could with a variety of stamps to help tell my story. I used the “” stamp from the Journey Stamp Set as well. What can I say, I love mixing different stamp sets together to create a fun layout!

Project Thursday ~ A Coffee Card and A Year In Review

Hello everyone, I hope you all have a fabulous holidays week! Can you believe that a year almost gone by? New year is coming in 4 more days! And it also means that is the end of my term with Precious Remembrance Shop. It has been an amazing year and for sure I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing team, for Dyane, and for her generosity through out the year.

I have one more card to share with you all today. I created this card with the new Everyday Stamp Set and Coffee Love Stamp Set.

I stamped one of the artsy image from the Everyday Stamp Set with Versamark Ink Pad and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then, I added some red paint using Sakura Koi Water Colors on the background. The heat embossed image resist the watercolor paint.

I used smooshing technique and splatter technique to add more texture with the watercolor paint. I dried it, distress the edge of the paper, and added it on a white card with permanent adhesive.

I stamped the cup from the Coffee Love Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair РNocturne Ink Pad on a white cardstock and then I fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment on the cup with VersaFine Clair РGlamorous and I added the cup on the card with 3D foam tape.

For the other sentiments, they are from Everyday Stamp Set that I stamped with VersaFine Clair РGlamorous, trimmed it into sentiment stripes, and then I added them on the cup with 3D foam tape.

And… before you all go… Here are my Top 5 favorite cards that I created with Precious Remembrance Shop in this year of 2018:

This card I created using Thanks Stamp Set, Journey Stamp Set, and VersaFine Clair Ink Pads. You can visit this post for details.

I created these cards using the Thanks Stamp Set, Fall Colors Stamp Set, and VersaFine Clair Ink Pad. You can read all about them at this post here.

These mixed media ATC cards I created using Little Thing Stamp Set, Coffee Love Stamp Set, Bits & Pieces : Love Coupon, Bits & Pieces : Daily Thoughts, Paper Snippets : TODAY, Buttons, and VersaFine Clair Ink Pads. Check out the details and how I created them here.

Stamps I use on this card are the Little Things Stamp Set, Oh So Fun Stamp Set, and Blossom Stamp Set that I stamped with the VersaFine Clair Ink Pads. I also used the mini paper doily on this card. I shared a tutorial here.

And last but not least, these 3 mixed media ATC cards. I used the Sketchy Alphabets Stamp Set, New Day Stamp Set, and the Love Coupon Stamp Set. You can read all about them here.

There all I would love to share with you all… Thank you so much for stopping by today and¬†I would love to wish you all a Happy and Amazing New Year 2019!!!
