{Inspire Me Friday} 18th Birthday Card

Hello, everyone! Happy Friday!  I’m here with my last project for the new release “Date” stamp set and I hope you like it!

I stepped away from my planner this time around and made a birthday card for my son’s 18th birthday.  (How can my baby be turning 18?)  I combined several PRS stamp sets for his card, trying to keep it simple and masculine yet still festive and fun.

I die cut white card stock into a notebook page, then started combining stamps.  Several stamps from the “Positive Thoughts” set started it off, with sentiments from the “School Days” set added next.  I added my son’s age using the numbers in the “Date” set and highlighted his age using a arrow from the retired “Mom & Dad” set.

I popped up the white panel using foam tape onto a navy blue card base, then added the bow and mini clothespin for added interest.  I hope he likes it!

I also hope you have enjoyed all of the projects using the “Date” stamp set shared by our Design Team and Guest Designers over the past few weeks.  If you haven’t purchased yours already, go grab it at the PRS Shop!

Design It Monday ~ {Gettin’ Scrappy}!

Hi friends, Lisa here today with a scrappy card for {Design It Monday}! The inspiration for this card came from a 6×6 My Mind’s Eye paper pad with lots of little bits begging to be used along with a snippet from a die cut banner and a previously stamped flower.

I started by trimming the bits to give them all straight edges. Next came a panel of thin cardstock covered with adhesive tape. I simply added the decorative paper pieces like a puzzle trimming and fitting as needed. When this was complete, I ran it through an embossing folder to give it a quilted look, love it! After adding the square doily scrap to the bottom, it was adhered to my card front.

Doing some selective inking, I added the remember sentiment from the new This Moment Stamp Set to the snippet of my banner die cut. I tucked it under a flower from the Mom and Dad Stamp Set (retired) that was left over from a previous project. This focal element is popped up on a vellum doily die cut.

The bottom of the card holds another sentiment from the This Moment Stamp Set ~ today. I added the stitched looking border from the Positive thoughts Stamp Set to echo the feeling of the quilted panel.

This card was fun to make and I loved putting all of those pretty scrappy bits together, it sure felt good to use them up!

Design It Monday ~ {A Pocket Full of Autumn}

Hi there Precious Remembrance Shop fans and a happy fall to everyone! What could be more appropriate to celebrates this first day of autumn, than a card using the Fall Colors stamp set? I’ve showcased this set a couple of times using traditional autumn colors. Today’s card takes a different turn. The crisp autumn days and cool nights made me think of cozy warm sweaters. And with that thought I reached for some of my favorite argyle patterned paper!

I die cut a library pocket from my paper then stamped the leaves from the set onto more patterned paper. I adore the leaves in this set and the fact that you can trim them out easily to give them a die cut look. This pocket full of leaves was added to a white panel that was stamped with a sentiment and the double stitched border from the Positive Thoughts stamp set.

I’m thankful for so many people in my life. And of course my parents are right up there at the top of the list!  They eloped after dating just 4 short months and have been married for almost 57 years…I know right!! This card seemed appropriate for their autumn anniversary next month.

To personalize it, I added a sentiment from the Mom & Dad set onto a small canvas banner.  A few little splatters from the Falls Colors set were added before adhering it to the pocket.

I hope you enjoy your first day of fall, thanks for visiting with us today!

{Crafty Sunday} it’s how you celebrate

The past month has been filled with birthday’s around here.  Friends, family and soon I will officially be one more year older.  What better way to celebrate than with a few balloons and greeting cards.  The first card above was created using a few familiar Precious Remembrance stamps to create something unique.  Beginning with one of my most favorite background stamps from the Mom and Dad stamp set, I used a soft pink to create a polka dot background.  I then used the rings from the Positive Thoughts stamp set to create the balloons.  From here, use your PR border and border tape stamps to create your own colorful bundle of balloon designs.  The dash border stamp was used as the string, added the balloon detail to the bottom of each with a pen and drew a bow at the base.  Finished it off with a sentiment from the Oh So Fun stamp set.

Enjoy your Sunday!

{Crafty Sunday} bundle of joy

Happy Sunday!  Time to begin another week to work a bit, hopefully laugh a bunch and don’t forget your creative side.   This past week I spent a little time working on this card set, using as many stamps as I possibly and loving it.  From the border stamps to the cute baby buggy and stars, think I may have fit in just enough, so lets break it down.

Here are the sets that I used to create this card:

To begin stamp the base of the card/cardstock with layers of border stamps and paint splatter stamps.  Paint and stamp the chipboard piece and add rope to the top corner then adhere to the front of the card.  Lay thread on top of chipboard piece before pocket is added. Stamp and adhere kraft pocket on top of chipboard piece.   Stamp tab using border tape stamp, but out and staple to pocket.  Stamp stars and buggy onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to front of card.  (Note:  I used a border tape stamp on the buggy to add more detail.)  Thread and Adhere buttons to the buggy.  Stamp “celebrate” onto cardstock, cut out and adhere to card.  Add beads to card.

Created a gift pocket for the card using a brown paper bag using similar sets, but also used the “Holiday Wishes” set to stamp white on the bag.  That completes this project.  Hope you are having a relaxing day and enjoy your week.

Meet our new designer: Look who’s back! + Projects!

Hi stampers!:) I have an exciting announcement for you today!:)

Do you guys remember  these pretty projects when Precious Remembrance just started back in 2012?:)

If you do..then you probably know by now that she’s one of the most talented crafter out there!:)

I’m one of her biggest fan! And if you followed her blog too, you know that she’s back in the blogland after a year off. I can’t believe and SO happy when I saw her post  in her blog!Yay!:) The secret is out! I’m VERY excited to let you know as well that she’s back in Precious Remembrance as a designer and she’s gonna showcase lots of awesome projects for you guys every other Sunday during the release, which is new and we call it “Crafty Sunday”. Hooray!

Please welcome back designer Andrea Budjack along with her first project for us!

My name is Andrea, stay at home mama to a house of all boys in the sunny (and very humid right now) state of Florida.  With over ten years of crafting under my belt it is one passion that I cannot seem to stay away from for too long.  Things I cannot live without in my craft space: sewing machine, fabric and stamps.  Let’s just say there are touches of these elements in everything I create.

With so many border stamps to choose from, why not use them to create your own background design?

Using one of my favorite border stamps from Precious Remembrance, Mom & Dad polka dots, I created a repetitive polka dot stamped background on a die cut cardstock label.  Next, folded in half, I and added stamped images from both the Friend and Oh So Fun stamps sets in black ink.   I then die cut white sketch paper in a small label die cut (approximately five cut in all).

To create the book, layer the sheets of paper and stamped outer label and sew down the fold to attach it together.  Fold it and press down to create the book.

I completed the look using heart stamps from Positive Thoughts and Love stamped onto cardstock, cut out and adhered to the front of the book.

Swoon!!! Oh how cute!!! LOVE!!!

Tons of ideas coming, so stay tune for more upcoming updates.

Thank you for joining us today!

{Design It Monday} ~ Sending a little text!

Giveaway winner announced! Check it here.

Hello! Did you enjoy the new stamp release hop? I do design with some talented ladies, don’tcha think! And that Dyane…doesn’t she design the cutest stamps! Speaking of cute stamps, I’ve pulled some from a trio of sets for today’s card.

My post title is a play on words. I added a little text to the inside of the mason jar to be sent along to someone special as happy mail! I tied the adorable heart tag from the Mom & Dad set to the jar with twine. Then I did a bit of generation stamping with the little heart from the Coffee Love set using red ink. Love the way this looks with the patterned paper!

To get my sentiments from the Oh So Fun set into the jar I did some masking. First I stamped the jar onto white card stock. Then I stamped it again on scrap computer paper and cut out the inside of the jar leaving just the outline. I stamped the sentiments one after the other down the jar until it was full. I staggered the stamping so it wasn’t too matchy matchy! This was super easy to do. I used two acrylic blocks and kraft ink. There’s no sentiment on the card front since they’re in the jar!

Father’s Day Cards : Simple and Cool :)

Hi stampers!:) Yay! Time flies! It’s June! it’s June!:) Oh I’m just so excited! Our upcoming release is getting there, ideas are rolling around here, and we can’t wait to show you tons of projects. But hold on…. do you know what else is coming this month? …..

YUP!:) Father’s day is just around the corner. And if you’re hunting for more card ideas, well, I have 2 cards here for you!:)

My first card is really simple! I stamped my sentiments on a white paper using the Mom & Dad stamp set. Cut it out to frame it, and then add some dimensionals to make it stand out more. And done!:)

I don’t know about you, but after I finished this 2nd card. I stared at it for awhile and in my mind, “Wow, this card so COOL”.LOL

I never really planned my layout on this card, it all started from this paper. For me, it has this masculine feel to it, the colors, arrows, and just perfect for a guy card. As you can see, I randomly stamped all of the elements and sentiments on a white paper.

And with the help of the Border Tape #1 stamp set, it looks more finished!

That’s my quick post for today. I hope you enjoyed and got inspired!:)

Thanks for joining me and happy crafting!

Everyday Note Card

Happy Monday stampers! I’m here today sharing a really simple everyday card. No sentiments on this one, a little different I know, but the heart image from Mom & Dad stamp set, brings a lovely message for sure!

I thought this will make a cute set of cards, don’t you think?:) If you have a lot of extra paper, then this would be a great option for you to use them.  It all started from this paper, I chose inks that are close enough to match the colors of this paper. I’m pretty happy on how it turned out!:)

Oh I’m a happy stamper sharing this simple yet cute card! I hope you enjoyed it too!

Thanks so much for joining me!:)
