Project Thursday ~ Smitten…

Happy Thursday!!  Today I am sharing a CAS card for my Project Thursday that highlights the cute flowers in the Sweet Pea set designed by Lisa Elton

I stamped the flower trio and colored in the petals.  Then I added a bit of glitter to them.

I sponged “grass” to the bottom and added the tiny heart from the set to the top of each of the flowers.

Love the cuteness of this set!

Project Thursday ~ A Valentine Card

Hello there PRS fans….

It’s Project Thursday and this week I have a Valentine card to share with you.  We are still showcasing the newest stamp set “Sweet Pea“.  For my card, I used a large heart stamp that I inked, sprayed with a little water and stamped on watercolor paper.  The “Love You” sentiment was perfect here.   The sentiments in the set are in such a sweet font!IMG_3126

I finished off the card with a little Kraft twine and sequins from the coordinating Sweet Pea Sequin Mix.

Project Thursday ~ An Invite…

Hello there PRS fans…

I’m here with a Project Thursday post for you showcasing the newest of the stamps sets Sweet Pea which is an Exclusive Designer Set created by Lisa.  The set also has a coordinating Sweet Pea Sequin Mix available here.

When I first saw this set, I immediately thought of cute little invites for a baby shower or little one’s birthday party. I made this invite keeping it simple with one of the pea pod images colored with colored pencils and I glittered up the peas to add a little something.

I have a few other ideas in mind for this super cute set so stay tuned…

Project Thursday ~ Merry Christmas

Hey there PRS followers!  It’s Project Thursday and I have a CAS card so share today.  I love white on white and used a technique I got here to add a raised white panel to the card for dimension.  I die cut a tree and snowflake adding glitter to them both.

The sentiment has such a fun font and fits into so many card styles.  The Sketchy Christmas set is a must have, but don’t forget about the other holiday sets available.

Hoping to get some more holiday cards created this week and next and then getting ready for baking and wrapping!  Happy Holiday Season to you all!

Project Thursday ~ Holiday Gift Pocket

Hello & Happy Thursday!!  I’m here today with another Project Thursday creation to share.  This is my first of a couple of Project Thursdays showcasing the new holiday stamps set ~ Sketchy Christmas

For my project, I made a gift pocket from a plain white treat bag.  I folded the bag in half and used Scor Tape to adhere the sides together.  This creates a couple of “pockets”.  I made a matching ornament/tag that tucks into the pocket.  I embellished the pocket with some paper, ribbon, twine, and sequins.  There is room in the pockets for many different types of small gifts for the holidays – cash, gift cards, candybars, etc.

Project Thursday – Spooky Bus Ride…

Well, it’s Thursday and time for one final Project Thursday post showcasing the School Days set.

I combined the School Days Set with last year’s Halloween set – Beware.

I thought these die cut ghosts would look perfect with the school bus to make a CAS Halloween card.  I stamped and cut the bus adding 6mm sequins for the headlights.

So, that’s a wrap for this set and Project Thursdays – but stay tuned…..a new holiday set is releasing soon!

Project Thursday ~ Lunch Box Note…

Today I have a cute little project to share for Project Thursday…

The School Days Stamp Set is perfect for creating some special little lunch box notes to add to your child’s lunches.

I used a die to cut the tag and stamped the front with the dotted lines stamp from the set.  Then for the inside I used the “great job” and “you are awesome!” stamps.

What a great, fun way to pass on some positive and encouraging words and surprise them at lunch!

Project Thursday – Fall Thanks

It’s Thursday and we are still showcasing the newest of the Precious Remembrance Stamp Sets………

School Days

I created a card showcasing the super large sentiment “thanks” stamp in this set.   I stamped the sentiment on some watercolor paper and then trimmed it with the leaves from the PRS Fall Colors Set.  I inked up the stamps and then spritzed them with a little bit of water.  I love the watercolor look without the painting.  I completed the card with a little bit of Kraft Rustic Twine.

Project Thursday ~ Thank You Teacher!

It’s Project Thursday time and the design team has been showcasing the newest stamp set – School Days.

I used the set to make up some thank you cards that can either be used for a teacher or by a teacher.  I die cut and stamped some apples, die cut the note paper on black and scuffed it with some chalk.  I added the corrugated stars and a little piece of alphabet paper.  Topped it all off with the “thanks” sentiment in the set .  I love the big bold font of this stamp!

Another super versatile set and the design team has been rockin’ out some wonderful creations with it!

Project Thursday…

I’m here again this week with last of my Project Thursday post using the newest Blossom Stamp Kit from PRS.

Continuing on with my CAS trend – I created another card .  These types of cards can easily be mass-produced so you always have a stash of cards available to grab and send at a moments notice.  I stamped the flower on watercolor paper that I had painted with blue watercolor paint.  Then I carefully cut it out and attached it to the card with foam adhesive squares to give the card some dimension.  With all of the sentiments in this set as well as the many other PRS sets, you can create a great supply of greeting cards to cover all occasions.
