Beware Stamp Set, Saturday Creations, School Days Stamp Set

Saturday Creations ~ {SPOOKY}

Today I have a Spooktacular card using the new Precious Remembrance School Days Stamp set along with the Precious Remembrance Beware Stamp Set.

It may be a little scary for young kids but would be great for older trick or treaters:

I cut out the windows in the school bus and added two images to create a SPOOKY bus ride for sure!  The word SPOOKY is great for the license plate and is another image from the Beware Stamp Set.  The googlie eyes make the bus seem alive and the black moon with the bats adds to the terror!

Up close, you can see that this is no ordinary little girl!

The background was created with a variety of sprays, paints, splats, and watercolor pencils.

Project Thursday – Spooky Bus Ride…

Well, it’s Thursday and time for one final Project Thursday post showcasing the School Days set.

I combined the School Days Set with last year’s Halloween set – Beware.

I thought these die cut ghosts would look perfect with the school bus to make a CAS Halloween card.  I stamped and cut the bus adding 6mm sequins for the headlights.

So, that’s a wrap for this set and Project Thursdays – but stay tuned…..a new holiday set is releasing soon!

Tuesday Ideas: A Beautiful Ride

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa returning with another Tuesday Ideas post!  Today, I’m highlighting the School Days stamp set one last time!

I had this idea come to me as I was looking through my stash of Precious Remembrance Shop stamps & saw the sentiment (New Day set)!  I went searching for the perfect paper to use for paper piecing!  Isn’t it great how the school bus in this set can quickly become any kind of bus you’d like it to be?!  I have so much patterned paper that this bus can take on whatever paint job it wants for months!  I used Stampendous Dots for the headlights this time as they are flat and shimmery pink in color.  I popped up the finished bus with foam dots to add a little dimension.

I hope autumn is treating you well!  Cooler days usually mean more time to stamp, right?!

Inspire Me Friday, Journey Stamp Set, School Days Stamp Set

{Inspire Me Friday} Spooky Journey

Hello, everyone!  Welcome to my next installment of  {Inspire Me Friday} using the “School Days” set! 

With Halloween quickly approaching, I decided to stretch my stamp set and make a Halloween card.  I stamped the bus on a Halloween-themed patterned paper with spiders on it, being sure to let the big spider show through the bus window!  I added some gray shading in the windows using a Copic marker. Unfortunately the word “School Bus” didn’t come out clearly when stamped on the slightly textured paper, so I drew grid lines over it to make the bus look a little scary.  (Sometimes a stamper has to improvise, right?)

The sky and the roads were also made with Halloween-themed patterned paper.  I stamped the sentiment from the “Journey” stamp set as the finishing touch.

I can just imagine little ghouls and goblins going to school on this bus!  I mean, they have to go to school, too, right? 

I fussy cut the bus and popped it up with foam tape for some dimension; I also added Glossy Accents to the bus lights for some shine.

Create It Wednesday, School Days Stamp Set

{create it wednesday} awesome…

Happy Wednesday PRS fans!!  Rosemary here with my last post showcasing the new School Days stamp set.  But fear not… there are plenty more design team posts scheduled using this fun new set and something new coming really soon {wink}!   Today I went clean and simple for my card and used the primary colors of green, red and blue.

After die cutting a panel of white cardstock I stamped the three circle images from School Days using the red, green and blue inks and then punched them out.    Two of the sentiment from the set (I’m so proud of you! and You are awesome!) were stamped on white cardstock and die cut using a banner die.  All of the icons were arranged on the cardstock panel and then the banner adhered on top as shown.  Like I said… clean and simple!

Design It Monday, Handmade Cards, School Days Stamp Set, This Moment Stamp Set

Design It Monday ~ {A Gold Star!}

Hi there friends! Do you remember learning to write your letters in school? Working hard on that practice page, thinking you had made perfect letters only to have your teacher make red marks on your paper!! That thought inspired my card today featuring the School Days Stamp Set. But this time the student earned a gold star!I die cut two notebook pages. One from decorative paper and one cardstock. The dashed border from the new School Days Stamp Set made the lines on my paper. Using a Tombo marker, I did some selective inking on the letters to create my “practice page”. I layered these on an alphabet embossed panel decorated with a bit of patterned paper.

This student did a great job as you can see from the sentiment! I popped this up with a foam dot and backed it with the star banner from the This Moment Stamp Set. A little twine and a gold star gave this card the zip it needed.

Saturday Creations ~ {thanks for the memories}

Are you singing yet?  I have always LOVED that song ~ such wonderful memories!

I was inspired to make the following card using FOUR Precious Remembrance stamp sets including our newest School Days stamp set:

  In this next close up photo, you can see all four sets including School Days for the word “thanks,” Journey Stamp Set for the photo frame (which I stamped on vellum and backed with white), the Thanks Stamp Set for the words “for” and “the” which I stamped and cut out, and the stamp set This Moment for the word “memories:”

I LOVE combining all of the FAB Precious Remembrance stamp sets to make something a little different.  I used a chevron patterned paper and a light pink paper with little cameras to finish out my theme.

Project Thursday, School Days Stamp Set

Project Thursday ~ Lunch Box Note…

Today I have a cute little project to share for Project Thursday…

The School Days Stamp Set is perfect for creating some special little lunch box notes to add to your child’s lunches.

 

I used a die to cut the tag and stamped the front with the dotted lines stamp from the set.  Then for the inside I used the “great job” and “you are awesome!” stamps.

What a great, fun way to pass on some positive and encouraging words and surprise them at lunch!
