Merry Christmas Mixed Media Layout by Nicole Martel

Good morning! Nicole here with a fun mixed media layout I created using the Sketchy Christmas and Joy Stamp Set. I love these two stamp sets and since Christmas is around the corner… I thought I’d inspire you with this layout. I had so much fun creating this layout. And I love how joyful and colorful this layout is.

MERRY CHRISTMAS_DEC2019_PRECIOUS REMEMBRANCE SHOP (1)blogim

To begin, I sprayed Colorations Sprays all over white cardstock. Once the ink was dry, I stamped several shapes/sentiments onto the cardstock. Then I used my circle punch, star punch and scissors to cut out the images to use for my layout.

I love the little sketchy trees! They are adorable. I added some jewels and a star to one of the trees to make it fun.

I used the “Merry Christmas” sentiment as my title at the top of the layout and then I stamped the “greetings” sentiment onto the little tab to help embellish the photo a bit.

So many embellishments and lots of color on this festive layout. It totally gets me in the mood for Christmas!

Design It Monday ~ {Merry Christmas}

Hi there! I’m back with another Christmas card for this week’s Design It Monday. Today’s card features the Sketchy Christmas stamp set.

Project_20191110_0005 copy

I started with the background. Using some paper from my stash, I randomly stamped one of the trees creating my own patterned paper. After adhering it to a cream card base, I added a coordinating panel of striped paper.

My focal image is the same tree, just jazzed up!

I used the scribbly image from the stamp set as a garland.

Isn’t it fun!

I coordinated my sentiment color with my textured layer.

Happy Holidays Layout by Nicole Martel

Hello everyone! Who’s ready for the holidays? Today, I’m sharing a holiday layout I created using the Sketchy Christmas and Joy Stamp Set along with some Oh Christmas Bits & Pieces.

Merry Christmas_Precious Remembrance Shop

To begin, I sprayed Colorations Sprays by Art Anthology onto white cardstock. The Indigo and Peacock Feathers sprays go perfectly with the die cuts. They are very close in colors. A perfect match if you ask me. I used the “Merry Christmas” and “Happy Holidays” sentiment as titles/sub-titles for the layout. I stamped the “Happy Holidays” sentiment on white cardstock using black ink and then I cut the image out using scissors. I used foam squares to pop it up off the page a bit.

I used a few die cuts, enamel dots and puffy stickers from Pinkfresh Studio. The embellishments worked with the color scheme I was working with. I added a few pieces of red because when I think of Christmas,  think of the colors green and red.

Love the little scribble line from the Sketchy Christmas Stamp set. I used it just below sentiments at the bottom.

Let it Snow Mixed Media Layout by Nicole Martel

Happy Sunday stampers! Today I’m sharing a layout I created using the “Oh Christmas Stamp Set” and “Sketchy Christmas” stamp set from Precious Remembrance Shop. I took these photos of Edward in January. He was so excited that we finally got a little snow… he was even dabbing in the snow. Silly kid.

DSC_6380

To begin, I sprayed three different Coloration Sprays from Art Anthology (Juicy, Salmon, and Raider) onto white cardstock.

I matted three 2″x2″ photos on patterned paper and placed them on the layout to determine a design I was happy with. Once I had the placement of the photos finalized, I stamped the trees to frame the photos and added lots of pretty embellishments from Pinkfresh Studio.

I really like the font of this stamp. Isn’t it pretty!

I did not include any journaling since most of the embellishments used, included sentiments. ūüôā

Thanks so much for visiting today! Come check out my video to see how this layout came together!

Project Thursday ~ Mass Produce Thank You Cards For Winter

PreciousRemembrance-MassProduce-Cards-HelenGullett

Hello everyone! Helen is here again today with mass-produce card ideas for this coming Winter / Christmas season.

Every month starting November 2018 until May 2019, I make 60 Thank You cards for donation at a Kids Camp programs. When comes to making a lot of cards or mass producing, I like to use clean-and-simple (CAS) style. I use these three CAS card designs for Winter camp which I made 20 cards for each design.

PreciousRemembrance-MassProduce-Card1-HelenGullett

On this first one layer & CAS design, I used the Sketchy Christmas Stamp Set and the Fall Colors Stamp Set. I stamped the trees and dots with white archival ink pad to create the background. And then I stamped the sentiment from Everyday Stamp Set under the trees with VersaFine Clair РGlamorous.

PreciousRemembrance-MassProduce-Card2-HelenGullett

On this second CAS design, I use the Joy Stamp Set and Everyday Stamp Set. I stamped the wreaths with white archival ink pad to create the background, and then I stamped the Joy word inside one of the wreath with VersaFine Clair РGlamorous. For the sentiment, I stamped it on white cardstock with Memento Desert Sand ink pad, trimmed them into sentiment banner, and then I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

PreciousRemembrance-MassProduce-Card3-HelenGullett

And for this third CAS card, I use the Oh Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped the evergreen leaf with white archival ink pad on the top of the card to create the background border. And I use the Everyday Stamp Set for the sentiment that I stamped it on white cardstock VersaFine Clair РGlamorous and trimmed it into sentiment banner. I wrapped the twine around the card, added the sentiment banner, and tied it up a bow. I added a little bit adhesive glue on the back of the sentiment banner to keep it stay on top of the twine.

These cards are done and ready for the kids at the camp to write thank you notes.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

This month has been full of Christmas project ideas, from cards, gift wraps, tags, & more!:) Christmas is definitely getting closer, and what a fun time to document each day, look back, and see all the activities you did every year.‚ô•

Here are some inspiration on how you can decorate your planner using our Oh Christmas Sticker Collection + our stamps – JOY, Happy Mail, Sketchy Christmas.

See the entire collection here:

OH CHRISTMAS STICKER COLLECTION

On the top, you can use these days of the week stickers & can easily write your own date since it’s not labelled by year. Nice!:)

Start adding stickers & space for writing. You have an option to keep it open / white space. Have fun!‚ô•

I wanted to incorporate different shapes & texture. I decided to stamped some images on some other boxes. You can easily mix & match our collection.

Weekends is a family day for us!:) So I know I don’t need too much space to write notes. But if you do, don’t add stickers yet, & place it later on.:)

That’s my Christmas week planner. I can’t wait to fill it with fun & unforgettable notes!‚ô•

Thank you so much for joining me today.

I hope you enjoyed today’s project.:)

Scrapbooking Layout + Video Tutorial: All the Trees by: Missy Whidden!

Hey, friends!  Missy here again, and I have a fun Christmas layout to share today featuring the Sketchy Christmas Stamp Set.  I was inspired by those cute trees and decided to make several embellishments out of them for my page.  I began with a few different green ink pads and some scrap paper.  I mixed and matched the inks to create different shades and tones of green.  I used all three trees in the stamp set.  I fussy cut them out and then arranged them around my photo, which is of my daughter at the Christmas tree lot last year.  I decided to bring in some gold and pink to the background, so I used some spray inks and plastic packaging to create the watercolor look.  I also added lots of splatters with the nozzles of the spray inks.

I love how these trees turned out!  I lightly spritzed them with gold spray ink before cutting them so it looks like gold snow.  So sparkly and pretty!  I layered them all together and popped a few of them up with adhesive foam. I also fussy cut some trees from some Crate Paper patterned paper to add some color to all that green.  To finish it off, I tucked in some gold metallic thread.  I used some alphas from an old Hip Kit Club kit to create some of the title.

I also used a circle die cut from the Oh Christmas Bits & Pieces pack.  I cut it in half and used half above the photo and half below.  I added in some green thread and did a bit more mixing and matching with my title.  I pulled in some older gold Thickers and some older washi tape.

Here‚Äôs the other half of that circle die cut‚Ķso cute!¬† I used an old 3×4 card from that Hip Kit as a layer here as well as more thread and some sequins from SpiegelMom Scraps.

All the Trees3

Here’s another tree cluster to the right of the photo.  I love the depth and dimension created here.  I wanted it to look like a little forest of trees, and I think I accomplished that.

I hope this inspires you to pull out your Christmas stamps and create something festive!  Be sure to check out my process video here to see how this all came together.  Thanks so much for stopping by!
