Dry and heat embossed hearts, watercolor resist and sheer gold ribbon to celebrate an anniversary using Everyday Stamp Set.

PRS DT Oct last no wm

I’m a fan of cute Halloween cards and the Beware Stamp Set makes them easy to create.

PRS DT Dec Bag no wm

The Plain White Flat bags are really fun to decorate.  Here I used Everyday and Love Coupon stamp sets with one of my favorite color combos: silver, white, black and red.

And here’s one last card from me using Coffee Love and Everyday stamp sets.

PRS DT Final card

The little hearts were white embossed on the travel cup which I stamped in Versafine Clair Onyx ink and fussy cut.  I used gray and red Zig watercolor pens for some ombre coloring.  The sentiment was stamped on a light gray panel splattered with red.   I mounted the cup with foam tape and stamped the little lines on the card front before adding the panel.  Fun to use white sequins for steam.  Wishing everyone a peaceful, crafty 2019.

Tuesday Ideas {Thank you so much}

2018-12-24-12-27-01

Merry Christmas! I hope you are all having a wonderful day surrounded by those that are most dear! Today we’re continuing with the Holiday Special/ Year in Review! For my project, I’ve created a seasonal themed thank you card just perfect for saying thank you for all of the special gifts that you have received!

2018-12-24-12-28-14

For this card, I’ve used the ever-adorable Coffee Love stamp set and paired it with the Everyday Stamp Set. I love the variety of sentiments that are included in this set; so perfect for so many occasions!  I used some festive pattern paper to give it some extra color and detail as well as some glitter for sparkle. Now….on to my favorite projects from the last year!

2018-06-04-12-14-41

This was one of my favorites from the summer; I used the Fall Colors stamp set to create a nature inspired “hello” card!

2018-07-02-14-26-54

I created this one for the 4th of July and it speaks to my vintage loving heart! I used This Moment stamp set.

This was such a fresh and fun design! I love the citrus inspired colors paired with the Oh So Fun stamp set!

I used Fall Colors again, but this time in the traditional Fall colors!

And finally, one of my favorite cards from the entire collection I made this year! This one uses the Oh Christmas stamp set paired with Happy Mail! Well, friends, this is actually my last post with Precious Remembrance Shop! I’ve had such a fun time and I have stretched myself as a designer! I appreciate this wonderful opportunity!

Create It Wednesday~Artsy & Fun Birthday Card

Hope you’re enjoying our artsy celebration week on the blog.  I decided to make a funky birthday card using these three PRS Stamp Sets:  EverydayOh So Fun and Fall Colors.  You may not see a flower image in these sets, but that didn’t stop me from making one for my card!  PRS DT 3 sets for flower

I began with the Everyday stamp set where I saw the circle as a bloom, one of the lines as a stem and the triangle as leaves.  The bloom was a little too small, so I used one of the solid triangles in the Oh So Fun set to give it more substance.  Must admit, it was fun to step outside my comfort zone to be a little artsy!  I used Distress Oxides abandoned coral, cracked pistachio and wilted violet along with a white pen for dots in the flower center.

PRS Flower Third Try Brighter Only

I layered 6 scalloped frame die cuts using gray cardstock for the top layer.  The sentiment from Oh So Fun was stamped in a dark gray ink.  I love the splatter images in the Fall Colors Stamp Set and used one for my card.  So glad you stopped by and hope you’ll check out the DT projects each day this week.  See you next time.

Create It Wednesday~Gift Bag

Hello everyone.  I’ve taken a break from holiday cards today to bring you a fun decorated gift bag.  Mine is for an anniversary, but you could change the sentiment and make this for a birthday or Valentine’s Day.PRS DT Gift Bag

The White Flat Paper Bag was stamped all over in Delicata silvery Shimmer with the cute block of hearts from Everyday Stamp set.  The three strips were stamped with images from Love Coupon Stamp set and the bottom edges were die cut.  I folded over the top of the bag and punched 6 small holes to tie on the black and white twine.  The sentiment from Everyday Stamp set was white embossed on the black die cut tag and attached with a little red clothespin from my stash.  Maybe you need to add some of these great products to your Christmas wishlist!  I’ll see you next time.

Project Thursday ~ Personalized Gift Box With Stamps

Hello everyone… Helen is here today. So… Christmas is in less than 30 days now! I am getting starts to wrap some gifts. How about you? Today I have couple gifts boxes to share with you that you can make and personalized them with Precious Remembrance stamps.

I found several tutorials how to make boxes using Envelope Punch Board. I tried a tutorial to make these gift boxes today. These boxes are perfect for A2 handmade card set or flat gifts. First, I trimmed the cardstocks and scored them but before I put them together, I stamped the patterns on them.

PRS-GiftBox-HelenGullett

On this first gift box, I stamped the triangle from Everyday Stamp Set on the red cardstock using the VersaFine Clair – Glamorous ink pad. After the images dried, I put the box together and glue it with permanent adhesive glue.

PRS-GiftBox2-HelenGullett

I stamped the circle seal image from Happy Mail Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous ink pad on a white cardstock and I punched it with 1″ circle punch. I added it on the back flap of the box.

PRS-GiftBox3-HelenGullett

For the tag, I stamped the label from Happy Mail Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Green Oasis on a white cardstock, and then I trimmed it with paper trimmer. I cut out another white cardstock using a tag die and then I added the label on it.

PRS-GiftBox4-HelenGullett

On the back of the tag, I stamped the To and From from the Happy Mail Stamp Set with the VersaFine Clair – Green Oasis ink pad. And then I tied it up on the box with natural twine along with the christmas light charms.

On the second box, I used the stamp steps I did to make the red gift box above. On this one, I used the Everyday Stamp Set and VersaFine Clair – Green Oasis ink pad.

img_4498.jpg

And for the tag, I used the one from Joy Stamp Set that I stamped on the white cardstock with VersaFine Clair – Green Oasis ink pad, and then I trimmed it with paper trimmer. I wrote the year, but I stamped the message using one of the sentiment from the Everyday Stamp Set. that I stamped it with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne (black) ink pad.

I hope this post today give you some ideas how to wrap your gifts in different ways this year. Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Create It Wednesday~Time for Tags

You’ve probably noticed there is a lot of tag making in blogland right now.  I joined in the craze using 3 Precious Remembrance Stamp sets:  Everyday, Happy Mail and Oh Christmas.
PRS DT Tag Much Better sharperThe sketchy circle from Everyday was white embossed on the large die cut tag to make snowballs.  Team member Lisa came up with that idea and I love it!   Distress Oxide Faded Jeans was used for the emboss resist technique and tiny white dots were added with a pen.   I stamped a branch from Oh Christmas at the top and bottom of a smaller tag using Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio.  The words from Happy Mail were stamped with Faded Jeans and I attached the small tag to the large one using foam tape.  Luckily, this piece of ribbon was just the right color and the dots tied in perfectly.  I thought a bit of sparkle was needed, so finished off with a glittery white dot.  Now I just have to buy the perfect gift!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the US and I’ll see you next time.

Create It Wednesday~Christmas Cards

Once again it’s time to ramp up holiday crafting, so I have a couple of Christmas cards for you today.  PRS DT Nov both no wmI used three PRS sets including Everyday Stamp Set, Sketchy Christmas and Joy Stamp Set.  The A2 size card was done by stamping the large background image from Everyday Stamp Set using Distress Ink faded jeans on a watercolor panel.  PRS DT Nov first no wmThen I spritzed with water & let the ink spread on it’s own.  When it was dry I stamped a Sketchy Christmas tree in Distress Oxide lucky clover and Merry Christmas in Versafine Clair Nocturne.  A stitched rectangle was dry embossed for a frame and I popped up the Happy New Year sentiment strip.  To finish things off, I added silver confetti to match the silver mat.  Sometimes it’s fun to make a smaller card, like my second one which is 3 1/2 x 4  3/4.  PRS DT Nov second no wmAgain I stamped the background image from Everyday Stamp Set.  This time I used pumice stone Distress Ink & blended with a wet brush.  Kind of looks like mountains–perfect for a modern, rustic design.  I stamped the triangle tree from Sketchy Christmas three times in lucky clover Distress Oxide and the word Joy from the Joy Stamp Set in Distress Oxide candied apple.  I die cut the panel with a stitched rectangle and added a couple extra layers of cardstock for dimension.  I sponged the pumice stone ink on the card front before adding the panel.  Hope I’ve given you some inspiration for your holiday cardmaking.  See you next time.

Create It Wednesday~Happy Halloween

Fall has arrived in our neck of the woods and that means it’s time to get some Halloween cards made.  I chose three of the images & a sentiment from the super fun Beware stamp set.PRS DT Oct Halloween no wm Each circle was stamped in black ink on white cardstock.  I punched three circles from a scrap of plaid paper and then lined up the images attaching them to a white panel.  The plaid piece was attached with foam and the whole piece was matted with a black cardstock panel.  I white embossed the sentiment on a thin black strip and finished off with a few black Pico Embellisher dots.  Hope you’ll check out all the great products in the PRS Store and show us your Fall cards.

Create It Wednesday~Thank You In Green

I’m easing into Fall today with a color combo of ivory, two shades of green and soft gold.  I began by repeatedly stamping an image from the Thanks stamp set in light green ink on an ivory panel. PRS DT SeptThe focal point was made by stamping another image from the same set in a darker green ink on a strip of light green cardstock.  By using a stamp positioner, I was then able to stamp with Versamark and emboss with clear powder.  The mat is a slightly larger strip of  darker green cardstock.  I colored the three hearts with soft gold glitter glue for a touch of sparkle. PRS DT Sept close up I wanted a fairly flat card to mail, but needed some dimension since the card and background are both ivory cardstock.  This was easily done by adding a couple extra cardstock layers under the panel.  I did use foam tape for the green strip for even more interest.

Always good to have thank you cards on hand, so why not head over to the shop and pick up this fun set.  While you’re there check out all the great stamps and products.  See you next time.

Create It Wednesday~Thank You So Much

It’s always good to have some thank you cards on hand.  For today’s cards I used stamps from two PRS sets:  Thanks and Oh Christmas.PRS DT August 3 again better (2)Just changing colors gives the same design a totally different look & keeps it interesting to stamp multiple cards.   I began by die cutting two white and one kraft note cards.

My first card has an elegant feel using metallic green and gold inks.  You could add some gems or sequins, but I decided just to tie on some white and gold twine. PRS DT August Elegant again (1)
The other white note card is a Christmas thank you with it’s red and green color combo.  This time I stamped the sentiment in black & colored in the little hearts with a red marker.  Again I left off embellishments simply tying on red and white twine.
PRS DT August Christmas no wmThe kraft note card gives a totally different look which I think is especially nice for Fall.  I first stamped the branches in white pigment ink and rubbed lightly with my finger.  Then I stamped again using the same brown dye ink as the sentiment.  Instead of coloring the little hearts, I just added dots with a fine point white Sharpie.
PRS DT August Kraft no wm

So there you have it–three different looks using the same images.  So many options I can make a lot more and never get bored!  Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you next time.
