Hello everyone, I hope you all have a fabulous holidays week! Can you believe that a year almost gone by? New year is coming in 4 more days! I have one more card to share with you all today. I created this card with the new Everyday Stamp Set and Coffee Love Stamp Set.

I stamped one of the artsy image from the Everyday Stamp Set with Versamark Ink Pad and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then, I added some red paint using Sakura Koi Water Colors on the background. The heat embossed image resist the watercolor paint.

I used smooshing technique and splatter technique to add more texture with the watercolor paint. I dried it, distress the edge of the paper, and added it on a white card with permanent adhesive.

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Today, I have an anniversary card to share with you. And I tried to go with simple, but still have some layers on it.

prs-an-annniversary-card-helengullett-01

I created the background using the faux stitch rectangle, one of the frames from the Love Coupon Stamp Set and I stamped it directly on the white card with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne Ink Pad. I layered one to another in different angle. Then I stamped the sentiments from both Everyday Stamp Set and Love Coupon Stamp Set with the same black ink pad. Next, I stamped the arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set.

prs-an-annniversary-card-helengullett-02

For the hearts, I stamped the heart background stamp from the Everyday Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Charming Pink Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I cut them with Hearts Dies Set. And then using sponge, I added more light pink ink on it to create the shadow look on it. I added both heart die cuts on the card with thin 3D foam tape and thick 3D foam tape to give them extra dimension.

I think this card is not too girl to give to a man, right? I hope you like this Project Thursday card today. Thank you so very much for stopping by!

Every month starting November 2018 until May 2019, I make 60 Thank You cards for donation at a Kids Camp programs. When comes to making a lot of cards or mass producing, I like to use clean-and-simple (CAS) style. I use these three CAS card designs for Winter camp which I made 20 cards for each design.

On this first one layer & CAS design, I used the Sketchy Christmas Stamp Set and the Fall Colors Stamp Set. I stamped the trees and dots with white archival ink pad to create the background. And then I stamped the sentiment from Everyday Stamp Set under the trees with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous.

On this second CAS design, I use the Joy Stamp Set and Everyday Stamp Set. I stamped the wreaths with white archival ink pad to create the background, and then I stamped the Joy word inside one of the wreath with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous. For the sentiment, I stamped it on white cardstock with Memento Desert Sand ink pad, trimmed them into sentiment banner, and then I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

PreciousRemembrance-MassProduce-Card3-HelenGullett

And for this third CAS card, I use the Oh Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped the evergreen leaf with white archival ink pad on the top of the card to create the background border. And I use the Everyday Stamp Set for the sentiment that I stamped it on white cardstock VersaFine Clair – Glamorous and trimmed it into sentiment banner. I wrapped the twine around the card, added the sentiment banner, and tied it up a bow. I added a little bit adhesive glue on the back of the sentiment banner to keep it stay on top of the twine.

On a piece of white cardstock that I trimmed into 4 inch x 5.5 inch. I added some gold splatter on it with Finetec Gold Paint and small flat waterbrush. I dried it with craft heater and added it on a kraf card with adhesive glue.

I found this paper rope in my stash box and I used it as the wreath. I shaped it into circles and added it on the card with adhesive glue. I held it down until the glue dried with couple acrylic blocks for couple of minutes.

Project Thursday ~ DIY Mini Halloween Candy Bags

Hello everyone… Helen is here for a Project Thursday. Today, I have some easy-to-make DIY Mini Halloween Candy Bags to share with you all.

I am using the Beware Stamp Set on this project. It is a fun Halloween themed stamp set for sure!

There is a little girl image in this stamp set and I thought it will be a cute one to use as to embellish these bags.

I stamped the circle image on an orange cardstock with VersaFine Clair Nocturne – Black Ink Pad and then I used my 1″ circle punch to cut out the circles.

I made the paper medallions using halloween scrapbook papers that I cut into 1 1/4″ x 12″ paper strips. Then I scored each of them at every 1/4″, folded, and glued each circle on top of the medallion using strong adhesive glue.

I stamped the sentiment on a grey cardstock using the same ink pad, trimmed them, and then added on the medallions with strong adhesive glue.

To make the mini bags, it is easy. I used 8 1/5″ x 11″ Black Cardstock that I cut it out into 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″, so you’ll get 2 bags from this size of cardstock.

I put the cardstock on score board with 5 1/2″ at the top, then I scored it at 1 1/2″ and 4″. And then I twisted it and scored at 1/4″ for the bottom flap.

Using my micro-tip scissors, I cut off the bottom of the 2 sides and leave the middle one as the bottom flap.

After that I folded the two side flaps and glued them together with strong adhesive glue. And then I closed the bottom flap and glued it with the same glue.

I added each medallions on top of the mini bag using the strong adhesive glue. If you do not have any strong adhesive glue, glue gun works well for this project, too.

This mini bag holds a pack of mini M & M’s, Marties Candy, and Dots Candy. Any small individual wrapped candies will fit in them, I would say 3 candies in each bag.

I hope this project can give you some more ideas for your Halloween party.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Project Thursday ~ I {Heart} You, You’re My Sunshine

PreciousRemembranceShop-IHeartU

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Today I have a CAS card with fun watercolored distressed background and some layers using the Thanks Stamp SetJourney Stamp Set, and VersaFine Clair Ink Pads.

I created the background with smooshing technique using watercolor paper, water, Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey Distress Ink Pads. After that, I sprayed and sprinkled with some water, let it sit for couple seconds, and dabbed if off with paper towel. I added some splatters on it with the same ink pad.

I dried it well with craft heater. And then I cut it with one of the Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies.

Next, I stamped the stars and dots from Journey Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Summertime Ink Pad. Then I added this finished panel on a white card with adhesive glue.

PreciousRemembranceShop-IHeartU-02

For the vocal point of this card, I created the layers of stamped images from both stamp set and twine.

I stamped the film strip image from Journey Stamp Set using VersaFine Clair – Nocturne (black) Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I fussy cut it with scissors.

The sentiments are from Thanks Stamp Set. On a piece of white cardstock, I stamped the I {Heart} U circle image with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous Ink Pad and then I stamped the phrase “you’re my sunshine” with VersaFine Clair – Summertime Ink Pad. I fussy cut them also with scissors.

Now all piece are ready. I added the white twine on the card and secured it with dries-clear adhesive glue. Next, I added the film strip on top of the twine with 3D foam tape. And then I added both sentiments on top of the film strip with adhesive glue.

Project Thursday ~ Thank You CAS Card Set

PreciousRemembrance-FallThankYouCardSet-HelenGullett-01

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! I hope you all have been fun time enjoying Summer with your loved ones. Today, for Project Thursday, I have a set of Thank You cards to share with you. I created these cards using the Thanks Stamp Set and Fall Colors Stamp Set.

I love Summer, but I cannot wait to enjoy Fall, soon! The Fall Color combos is my inspiration to create the backgrounds for these CAS cards. Started with stamped the leaves and dots splatters images from the Fall Colors Stamp Set on watercolor papers using VersaMark Ink Pad and then I sprinkled some of white/glitter embossing powder. I heat set the images with craft heater.

Using medium round brush, I added clean water on the paper, just randomly wet the paper. Then, I picked up the yellow, orange, red, and green watercolor paints with the brush and added them on the wet paper. I let the water did the work to blend the colors together. This watercoloring technique is called wet-on-wet. The heat-embossed images resist the watercolor paints, and this is called the heat-embossing/watercolor resist technique.

PreciousRemembrance-FallThankYouCardSet-HelenGullett-02

I speed up the drying process by using craft heater from the back of the watercolor paper. This way is safer for the heat-embossed images to not to melt again. After all panels dried, I cut them using one of the Crazy Double Stitched Rectangles Dies.

I stamped the faux stitch border image from the Thanks Stamp Set directly on the white cards with VersaFine Clair Acorn Ink Pad. I also stamped the sentiment on white cardstock and then trimmed them with scissors.

I added the watercolored panels on the center of the card bases with dries-clear adhesive glue. Next, I added the sentiments on the card with 3D foam adhesive. I added some clear sequins to embellish the cards. And… They are done.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you all are inspired to create. See you all next time!
