Project Thursday ~ A Coffee Card and A Year In Review

Hello everyone, I hope you all have a fabulous holidays week! Can you believe that a year almost gone by? New year is coming in 4 more days! And it also means that is the end of my term with Precious Remembrance Shop. It has been an amazing year and for sure I am so grateful for the opportunity to be part of this amazing team, for Dyane, and for her generosity through out the year.

I have one more card to share with you all today. I created this card with the new Everyday Stamp Set and Coffee Love Stamp Set.

I stamped one of the artsy image from the Everyday Stamp Set with Versamark Ink Pad and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. Then, I added some red paint using Sakura Koi Water Colors on the background. The heat embossed image resist the watercolor paint.

I used smooshing technique and splatter technique to add more texture with the watercolor paint. I dried it, distress the edge of the paper, and added it on a white card with permanent adhesive.

I stamped the cup from the Coffee Love Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne Ink Pad on a white cardstock and then I fussy cut it with scissors.

I stamped the sentiment on the cup with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous and I added the cup on the card with 3D foam tape.

For the other sentiments, they are from Everyday Stamp Set that I stamped with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous, trimmed it into sentiment stripes, and then I added them on the cup with 3D foam tape.

And… before you all go… Here are my Top 5 favorite cards that I created with Precious Remembrance Shop in this year of 2018:

Project Thursday ~ An Anniversary Card

prs-an-annniversary-card-helengullett

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Today, I have an anniversary card to share with you. And I tried to go with simple, but still have some layers on it.

prs-an-annniversary-card-helengullett-01

I created the background using the faux stitch rectangle, one of the frames from the Love Coupon Stamp Set and I stamped it directly on the white card with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne Ink Pad. I layered one to another in different angle. Then I stamped the sentiments from both Everyday Stamp Set and Love Coupon Stamp Set with the same black ink pad. Next, I stamped the arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set.

prs-an-annniversary-card-helengullett-02

For the hearts, I stamped the heart background stamp from the Everyday Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Charming Pink Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I cut them with Hearts Dies Set. And then using sponge, I added more light pink ink on it to create the shadow look on it. I added both heart die cuts on the card with thin 3D foam tape and thick 3D foam tape to give them extra dimension.

I think this card is not too girl to give to a man, right? I hope you like this Project Thursday card today. Thank you so very much for stopping by!

Inspire Me Friday – {Happy Anniversary}

Hello everyone!   Hope you had a great week and have lovely plans for the weekend!  I’m popping in today with a clean and simple card made using the Everyday stamp set along with the fun Love Coupon set.

happy anniversary

The hardest part of making this card was masking off the top and the bottom to so that I could stamp the sweet heart background image from the Everyday stamp set!   You could easily make this card using all of the various sentiments in the Everyday stamp set.   The heart background was stamped in a coral colored ink and then I stamped the word love from Love Coupon in red.   The sentiment (from Everyday) was stamped on a strip of gray cardstock with black ink and then adhered beneath the stamping.   The panel was then die cut with a rectangle die and then I added the single strand of green twine.

Thank for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Create It Wednesday~Gift Bag

Hello everyone.  I’ve taken a break from holiday cards today to bring you a fun decorated gift bag.  Mine is for an anniversary, but you could change the sentiment and make this for a birthday or Valentine’s Day.PRS DT Gift Bag

The White Flat Paper Bag was stamped all over in Delicata silvery Shimmer with the cute block of hearts from Everyday Stamp set.  The three strips were stamped with images from Love Coupon Stamp set and the bottom edges were die cut.  I folded over the top of the bag and punched 6 small holes to tie on the black and white twine.  The sentiment from Everyday Stamp set was white embossed on the black die cut tag and attached with a little red clothespin from my stash.  Maybe you need to add some of these great products to your Christmas wishlist!  I’ll see you next time.

Project Thursday ~ Faith, Hope, Love ATC Cards

Hello everyone… Helen is here and it is time for another Project Thursday. This time I have 3 Mixed Media ATC cards to share with you all.

DD1C0815-685D-480A-BB90-EDAA4537AFA4

I started with creating the backgrounds with some acrylic paints and things I can find aroud the house, such as toile paper roll, plastic knife, buble wrap, and old credit card that I cut one of the edge with kids wave scissors.

On each card, I added the twine on the card and secure it with mini staplers.

For the all the sentiments, I stamp each word using the Sketchy Alphabets Stamp Set on a white cardstock using Black Archival Ink Pad. And then I colored the letters with 3 shades of colors that match with each background using Leisure Arts Premium Colored Pencils.

On this first card, I stamped and heat embossed the circles from New Day Stamp Set using Versamark Ink Pad and Fine White Embossing Powder. And then I stamped the brush stroke image on the 2 edges with Black Archival Ink Pad.

And on this third card, on that background I stamped the hearts from the Love Coupon Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and I added the WOW! Glitter Embossing Powder. And I heat them up with craft heater. I also stamped the faux stitching all around the edges and the arrows with Black Archival Ink pad.

Project Thursday ~ Chalkboard CAS Card

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a black and white chalkboard look CAS card showcasing the new Daily Thoughts Stamp Set.

prs-dailythoughts-feb08-chalkboard-card-helen-01

Creating this card is pretty simple 🙂 I used black cardstock for the card base and chalkboard panel.  And I only use one type of ink pad, Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad.

First, on a piece of black cardstock, I stamped the cassette image with Mini MISTI couple of time using Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad. Since it is an archival pigment ink, it is slow drying ink, so I used my craft heater to dry the ink quicker and move to the next step.

prs-dailythoughts-feb08-chalkboard-card-helen-02

I stamped the stars from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on the top and bottom corner of the cassette using the same ink pad. And I also stamped the sentiment and little arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set on the label space of the cassette image. And then I stamped one more sentiment from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set below the cassette with the same ink.

I dried all the stamped images and sentiments with craft heater. After that, I sponged the same ink on the panel using sponge dauber to give the chalkboard look on it. I started from the edge and worked my way to the middle. I repeated every edge of the panel.

I punch the corners of the panel with WRMK Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper and then added the panel on the card base. The card is done. It is not only clean-and-simple, this card is also thin and mail friendly 🙂

I hope this Project Thursday give you an inspiration to create today! And before you go… check out all the new products at Precious Remembrance Shop!

THANK YOU for stopping by and have a fabulous day.

Inspire Me Friday – {totally love you}

Hi friends!!  So excited to be back on the PRS blog sharing a project I made using the super fun Totally stamp set!  I also used the Love Coupon stamp set and some pieces from the Love Coupon Bits  &  Pieces collection.

totally 2

I recently purchased a pad of patterned paper from the Prima Zella Teal collection.  I saw another crafter using items from this collection and I just fell in love with it.   As I thought about what I would make for my project I thought about this pad and decided to use some for my card.  I wanted a card that could be given to a man or a woman so I pulled out some paper from the collection that would work for both and die cut it with a stitched rectangle die.  Some additional paper that has a kraft look to it was die cut with another rectangle die.   Pulling colors from the collection I used some VersaMagic inks in Oasis Green to stamp the border and Wheat to stamp the large word totally.   The sentiment love you is from the Love Coupon set and actually says I Love you, but I masked off the I before inking up the sentiment and stamping it in VersaFine Onyx Black.  The little hearts from the Love Coupon Bits & Pieces collection were trimmed out (they were originally circles) and popped them up with foam dimensionals.  Before layering everything up on my card base I wrapped some black twine around the patterned paper piece and then tied it with a simple knot.    I hope I have given you a good idea for a card to make for a man or woman!!

{create it wednesday} a treat bag

Happy Wednesday Precious Remembrance Shop fans!!  Rosemary here to share a little Valentine’s day treat bag that I made using the new Sweet Pea stamp set and the Love Coupon stamp set.

treat bag

I started by making the little treat bag using a Sizzix treat bag die set.  Once that was finished I stamped the coupon image from Love Coupon on some patterned paper and trimmed it out.  One of the sweet pea images from Sweet Pea was stamped in the center using dark red ink.  A little sentiment from Love Coupon was stamped on additional patterned paper and trimmed it out.   The red glitter strip was created by die cut the piece with a die from the treat bag die set.  I adhered that to my little bag along with the coupon and then added the twine tied in a bow.  The little hearts that were die cut from the strip were randomly added to the bag as well.  I adhered the sentiment strip and then added the little arrow paper clip.   The little hearts in the corner were stamped in dark red ink using an image from Sweet Pea.  This little treat bag would be even easier to put together using a pre-made treat bag.

Thanks for stopping by today…

Tuesday Ideas: Create a Plan

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more ideas for those Precious Remembrance stamps you have in your stash or have had your eyes on in the store!

How about a little organizational idea today?  Did you know you can use the Love Coupon set to create a weekly planner page for yourself?

Maybe you need to plan your meals for a week, create a chore chart for your child, record your hard efforts at the gym, document life’s little details at a moment’s notice, keep a gratitude journal or simply make a to do list.  This little sheet could work for any of those ideas & more!  I had a little clip board sitting around the house and it triggered the light bulb moment for this project!

Using a rainbow of ink colors, I stamped two columns of the coupon image and then added the days of the week to each box using the days from the This Moment set.  I added the circles & the “life is a beautiful ride” sentiment using one of the stamps from the New Day stamp set.  The little red heart is from the Coffee Love stamp set.  The finished page was trimmed to fit the clip board and a little piece of polka dot ribbon was added to the top.

So simple, but just think of all the things you could use something like this for!  I’m excited & I like to think this sheet could be color copied for mulitiple uses and then kept as the master copy!

Until next time, happy stamping!

p.s.  You might want to bop over to my blog today to see the last minute idea I had for a wedding card using two more Precious Remembrance stamp sets!

{create it wednesday}… Love this

Hey PRS fans!!  Rosemary here with my last {Create It Wednesday} post showcasing the newest Precious Remembrance Shop releases:  This Moment and Love Coupon.  My card today uses both sets along with another PRS set Positive Thoughts.    As many of you know the Spring Coffee Lover’s blog hop is going on right now and even though I’m not a coffee drinker I have really gotten into the spirit of things and made several coffee themed cards.  My card today is also coffee themed so I will be posting it to the Spring Coffee Lover’s blog hop.

Now Precious Remembrance Shop has a great coffee themed set called “Coffee Love“, but I wanted to show you how you could use other PRS sets to create a coffee themed card.  I mainly used images from the Love Coupon set to create my stamped background, adding in the circles image from Positive Thoughts as it reminds me of coffee rings.  I used light blue, grey and kraft inks to stamp all of my images on some Teresa Collins Studio Gold patterned paper.  The sentiment (created using the large word “love” from Love Coupon and a portion of a sentiment from This Moment) was stamped in black ink and then I added the die cut word coffee.  The edges of the patterned paper were distressed a bit and then matted with kraft cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by…
