Project Thursday – Thinking Of You Card Set

Hello everyone… Helen is here today. I have a set of Thinking of You cards to share with you that I created with two stamp sets and buttons. When I make a set of cards or mass-produce, I like to go with clean-and-simple style 🙂

First step I created the watercolored backgrounds. I scribble some of the Aquamarine Spectrum Aqua marker on a piece acetate and sprayed with some water. Then I used that acetate to stamp directly on the front of the white cards. I did it couple time to create the layers and dried it every time I added layer of color.

Next step is creating the flowers. I stamped the petals and stalks from Blossom Stamp Set on patterned papers with Versafine Onyx Black. Then I fussy cut each of them with micro-tip scissors. I added the flowers on the cards with dries-clear adhesive glue.

After all the flowers added on the cards, I stamped the sentiment from Daily Thoughts Stamp Set with the same ink pad using Mini MISTI. And then I embellished cards with some Simply Butter Buttons. And the cards are done… here are the close up of the cards:

I love having any type of cards ready in my card box whenever I need them. What type of cards do you like to have them ready in your stash whenever you need it? I hope you all can enjoy this post and inspired to create today.

Thank you so much for stopping today! Have a wonderful day!

Project Thursday – DIY Kraft Gift Bag

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a Project Thursday to share with you that I created with Precious Remembrance clear stamps and Gift Wrap supplies.

To create this gift bag is pretty simple 🙂 It is a project that you can make in short time or mass-produce for your party.

First, randomly I stamped the cassette tape image from Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on all over the front of a Plain Kraft / Flat Paper Bag with similar color dye ink pad. Quick and easy stamping, right 🙂

Next is to create the personalized mini wooden clip and gift tag.

For the mini wooden clip, I stamped the stars from Daily Thoughts Stamp Set directly on the mini wooden clip using Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad. I set it aside to dry while working on the tag.

I stamped the sentiment box and sentiment phrase from the Happy Mail Stamp Set on a piece of white cardstock using Orange dye ink pad. Then, I trimmed it down and turned it into a tag. You also an use any tag dies if you have 🙂

I stacked one of the Mini Yellow Doilies, then the gift tag, and twine bow together, and clipped them on the stamped kraft paper bag with the personalized mini wooden clip.

The size of this paper bag is 6 1/4″ x 9 1/4″ that is ideal and big enough to stuff fun gifts inside and finish it with some white tissue paper.

I hope you all enjoy this Project Thursday this week… and don’t forget to check the Precious Remembrance store for more stamps, embellishments, gift wraps, and more…!

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Project Thursday – Chalkboard CAS Card

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a black and white chalkboard look CAS card showcasing the new Daily Thoughts Stamp Set.

Creating this card is pretty simple 🙂 I used black cardstock for the card base and chalkboard panel.  And I only use one type of ink pad, Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad.

First, on a piece of black cardstock, I stamped the cassette image with Mini MISTI couple of time using Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad. Since it is an archival pigment ink, it is slow drying ink, so I used my craft heater to dry the ink quicker and move to the next step.

I stamped the stars from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on the top and bottom corner of the cassette using the same ink pad. And I also stamped the sentiment and little arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set on the label space of the cassette image. And then I stamped one more sentiment from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set below the cassette with the same ink.

I dried all the stamped images and sentiments with craft heater. After that, I sponged the same ink on the panel using sponge dauber to give the chalkboard look on it. I started from the edge and worked my way to the middle. I repeated every edge of the panel.

I punch the corners of the panel with WRMK Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper and then added the panel on the card base. The card is done. It is not only clean-and-simple, this card is also thin and mail friendly 🙂

I hope this Project Thursday give you an inspiration to create today! And before you go… check out all the new products at Precious Remembrance Shop!

THANK YOU for stopping by and have a fabulous day.

Project Thursday – Totally Messy Mixed Media Art Journal

Hello Precious Remembrance Shop friends… Helen is here. I am super excited to share my very first project with you all today!

I created a mixed media art journal using the Totally Stamp Set and Happy Art Stamp Set. This is also my first art journal page of this year with a new mixed media book.

First, I added the neon acrylic paints (pink, yellow, green and purple) on the page with rubber brayer. Then I grab the toiler paper roll, dibbed it into acrylic paint and stamped couple circles on the page. Last, I added some splatters on the page. Acrylic paint dries quickly.

Once the page is dry well, I started to stamp the sentiments from Totally Stamp Set and Happy Art Stamp Set, and I stamped the brush strokes images from Totally Stamp Set on the page with Black Archival Ink Pad. I added some shadow on the bold sentiment by stamping it again with Memento Rose Bud. Archival ink stays wet for a while, so be careful not smudge the stamped images.

Using make up sponge, I added some white acrylic paint along the edges of the page. And then using Faber Caste Big Brush Stamper Pen, I stamped the other brush stroke image from Totally Stamp Set on the top left corner and bottom right corner. This brush pen dries permanent and works well on clear photopolymer stamps like Precious Remembrance stamps.

Remember that I told you that archival inks dries slowly? The quote on this page is still wet, so I sprinkled some of the clear glitter embossing powder on it and heat set it with my craft heater. Result is that now the quote is sparkly and shiny. I also I stamped some stars from the Totally Stamp Set with White archival ink, sprinkled with the clear glitter embossing powder, and heat set it.

Last step is that I randomly sprayed some of the irRessistible Neon Yellow spray. That finished my art journal 🙂

I hope you enjoy this post and are inspired to create today! Thank you so much for stopping by today. Have a fabulous day.

Project Thursday ~ Planning

I took the leap and entered into the world of Planners………

I got this great planner full of pages to be filled in and realized that one of the newest Precious Remembrance Stamp sets was absolutely perfect to use with my entries & extras in the planner!

The This Moment Set works so well with planners.  The days of the week and the other sentiments included all fit perfectly with documenting daily life in a planner.  I die cut a notebook page above and left it open to highlight some big things about the day…

On this mini page, I focused on the movie theater ticket from our family day at the movies this past weekend.  And not only is this stamp set perfect, but so many of the stamps from the other stamps available are also super perfect for using to embellish the pages of my planner.

I did the same thing with an admission ticket to the Olympic Skating Oval where we skated a couple weeks ago after a hockey tournament in Lake Placid.  I used the day of the week, the arrows, and the “memories” sentiment.

This stamp set is perfect to keep on hand for working through this planner the entire year ahead.
