Happy Wednesday everyone!!! Feathers are a big trend right now and while I love stamping feathers (especially the feather from the Precious Remembrance Shop DIY set… my favorite!) I hadn’t taken the plunge and actually used real feathers on any of my projects… until the other day and now I think I’m just a wee bit hooked, lol!! Watercoloring is also a trend right now and so I combined the two for my card.
I started by cutting a panel of watercolor paper and then stamping the coffee cup image from Coffee Love on the paper using watermark ink. Clear embossing powder was applied and heat set. Some brown ink was dropped onto a paper plate, water added and brushed on the watercolor paper. Once the piece was dry I stamped the sentiment and little hearts in the center of the cofffee cup. Some twine was tied around the cup and a small mug charm was added. After adhering the feather to the card base the watercolor panel was added and I was done. I hope you enjoyed today’s project!
