{Saturday Creations} Oh So Fun Mixed Media Canvas

This new Oh So Fun Stamp Set can be used for so many different things and a mixed media canvas is what I’m showing you today!  Here it is:

I made color blocks and added a mason jar to each section that I first stamped on deli paper and then ripped out and adhered to the painted canvas with mod podge.  (This is a tip/trick because it is impossible to get a crisp stamped image on a canvas.  This takes all of the worry out of it!)

I want to show you this canvas color by color:

In the green block you can see the triangle stamps I cut out and made a banner with.  There are several sentiments from the set and one Precious Remembrance pink button.

The yellow block has different sentiments and 2 PR baby blue buttons (seeing a theme here?!!)

In the pink block, another new sentiment  (so many FAB sentiments and fonts in this set!) and three light mint buttons.

And finally the pastel blue block with a wonderful sentiment and 4 pale yellow buttons called simply butter!

Process photos:

Here are the 4 color block sections.

To make them so even and the lines crisp, I took a piece of heavy cardstock and cut a 3×3 section out of it.  I held it in place while I painted each section, waiting for the prior one to dry.

On the sides, I had even more fun!

I stamped the word surprise on all 4 sides

and stamped the brush stroke from the PR New Day Stamp set in pale yellow.

There you have it!  I KNOW you will LOVE this stamp set and be able to not only make cards and tags but mixed media art as well!  Thanks for looking at {Saturday Creations}!
