Mason Jar Love by Evgenia Petzer

The moment I saw this  Oh So Fun stamp I wanted to use the watercolor technique on it, but I was not confident that I will do it beautifully. So I just looked through my papers and the new set from Blue Fern Studios was just perfect for this idea.
Again I stamped the larger jar and then fussy cut it.
The sentiment I stamped in the bottom part of my card, its perfect quality and even these small letters can easily be read.
The cherry adds the soft vintage feeling to my card, that I always like.
Thank you!:)

{Saturday Creations} Oh So Fun Mixed Media Canvas

This new Oh So Fun Stamp Set can be used for so many different things and a mixed media canvas is what I’m showing you today!  Here it is:

I made color blocks and added a mason jar to each section that I first stamped on deli paper and then ripped out and adhered to the painted canvas with mod podge.  (This is a tip/trick because it is impossible to get a crisp stamped image on a canvas.  This takes all of the worry out of it!)

I want to show you this canvas color by color:

In the green block you can see the triangle stamps I cut out and made a banner with.  There are several sentiments from the set and one Precious Remembrance pink button.

The yellow block has different sentiments and 2 PR baby blue buttons (seeing a theme here?!!)

In the pink block, another new sentiment  (so many FAB sentiments and fonts in this set!) and three light mint buttons.

And finally the pastel blue block with a wonderful sentiment and 4 pale yellow buttons called simply butter!

Process photos:

Here are the 4 color block sections.

To make them so even and the lines crisp, I took a piece of heavy cardstock and cut a 3×3 section out of it.  I held it in place while I painted each section, waiting for the prior one to dry.

On the sides, I had even more fun!

I stamped the word surprise on all 4 sides

and stamped the brush stroke from the PR New Day Stamp set in pale yellow.

There you have it!  I KNOW you will LOVE this stamp set and be able to not only make cards and tags but mixed media art as well!  Thanks for looking at {Saturday Creations}!

Tuesday Ideas – Celebrate

Hi stampers and Happy Tuesday. I’m here today to share my first card with you using the new Oh So Fun stamp set.

Here is my card:

We all know how hard those masculine cards are to make. This new set has some great elements that will help you with that problem. For my card I started by stamping my sentement. I chose colors of ink that were more on the masculine side and added my triangles on each side of the sentement. To help tie it all together and give the card a little something extra I added the three lines using a pen. Quick and simple…just the way I like it.

I hope I have given you some ideas for those hard to make masculine cards.
