{Inspire Me Friday} Totally Sweet

Hi, everyone! It’s Judy here with my first installment of {Inspire Me Friday} using the fun new stamp set release, “Sweet Pea.” I hope you were able to hop along with us as we introduced this set.

Are you all falling in love with the adorable stamp set elements that our design team member Lisa Elton has shared with us? I know I am…I think it is absolutely adorable!

For my card, I went a little bit outside my clean and simple comfort zone and tried to channel my “inner Lisa.” The colors of these patterned papers just said “Lisa” to me, and I thought they would look nice as a background to this sweet pea image. I inlaid the die cut oval so the card would not be too bulky for mailing. I also added a few sequins from the mix Lisa designed and generously shared with the design team…a nice little touch, I think!

I added some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the sweet pea image…check out all that shine in the morning light!

I know this stamp set is great for baby cards, but there are so many other ways to use it! I tried to keep the sentiment “neutral” on the card front, thinking I might use it for my niece’s birthday card. I’ll add my birthday wishes to the inside!

I hope you enjoyed my card today…I had a lot of fun making it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Polka dot and floral papers, what’s not to love! The blue shadow around the pea pod looks great, I’ll remember that one. And who can resist a sweet gingham bow. This is extra pretty Judy!! Channeling your inner Lisa, haha I LOVE it!!
