Tuesday Ideas: Grounded

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more clean and simple inspiration for Tuesday Ideas!

As I’m looking toward September, I’m adding coffee to my grocery list, knowing my consumption might soon be increasing ever so slightly as days turn cooler!  That said, I chose a coffee theme for today’s card using stamps from the fabulously versatile Totally stamp set as well as the coffee cup image from the Coffee Love stamp set.

2016 Aug30

Am I the only one that feels like this with a cup of liquid magic in hand?  Life just seems a bit more manageable with a little coffee consumption!  Know what I mean?!

The background is an image from the Totally stamp set, stamped three times to ground the main image.  I stamped and fussy cut the coffee cup, paper piecing the middle with kraft cardstock & popping up the assembled image with foam dots for dimension.  The “whatever” sentiment is also from the Totally stamp set.  So fun!

Here’s to cooler days, warmer drinks and a slower pace (hopefully)!

Until next time, happy stamping!

Saturday Creations ~ {You’re A Star}

Today’s Saturday Creation focuses on the stars in our Precious Remembrance Totally Stamp Set:

The background is made with distress inks and then spritzed with water to create the perfect night sky.  There are some tiny gems ~ can you see them? ~ to give the appearance of stars in the galaxy.  This card is for someone who used to play professional baseball.  (To read more about him, go to my blog).

000_4768Tip – I don’t like my handwriting so I stamped “You’re______ ” and then masked the stamp that says “that’s all” just to get the “a” and then stamped another star in black to make the sentiment POP!  I framed it all with the brushstroke stamp. EVERYTHING I stamped was coated in clear embossing powder and then heat set to give it a shiny appearance.

I hope you like it!

Here’s the PR Totally Stamp Set ~ so versatile!

{Inspire Me Friday} Totally Thankful for You

Hello, friends!  Happy Friday!  It’s Judy here with my final project card using the “Totally” stamp set.

Continuing on with our collaboration last week with Clique Kits, I decided to make another project using a journaling card from the August kit and two Precious Remembrance Shop stamp sets: Totally and Fall Colors.

8-26-16 PRS Totally Card 4 3This card was super quick and easy to make!  I trimmed down the palm patterned card so I could put it on a black matte.  Next, I stamped “totally” in the open tag area…a perfect fit!  I added the “thankful for you” (from the Fall Colors set) and finished it off with a few gold stars from the August Clique Kits set.

8-26-16 PRS Totally Card 4 4

There you have it…a colorful, quick and easy thank you note!

I have to mention this, too…I recently purchased a Mini Misti and it made this process SO much easier!  I don’t know about you, but sometimes my first stamped image is not as dark as I would like it to be.  Being able to re-stamp sentiments (especially thick ones like this) makes it look so much richer and cleaner than they would if I stamped them by hand!  I really love that tool.  I’m all about making my life easier!

That’s it for me today…I hope I’ve inspired you to get your hands on this fun stamp set if you haven’t already!  Have a great day!

Create It Wednesday ~ {You’re All That!}

Like, whoa! How much inspiration has been packed into the {Totally} Stamp Set new release projects?? Well I certainly couldn’t let this release pass without a little stamp surgery to mix it up and demonstrate how truly versatile the {Totally} stamp set is when crafting!

Totally flower

One of the joys of using clear stamps is that you can cut them apart….don’t have a heart attack on me just yet…because they stick back together (not permanently of course) super easily!

To create this look, mask off half of the brushstroke stamp and use it to create the stem for the flower. Next, only ink the one little image from the border stamp and use it as the leaves on the stem. Repeat the border stamp down the side of the paper to create…well, a border 🙂 Gather up a monochromatic set of inks for the flower and stamp using the star stamps until your heart’s content with the size and shape of your bloom. I also added some yellow and white embossed stars and a white embossed center, with some stickles for the dots. I also used some stickles on portions of the border. I created my sentiment by cutting apart the “that’s all!” to be “all that!” Some splatters and we’re done!

Can you believe every bit of this card was made with stamps from the {Totally} Stamp set??!!

Design It Monday ~ {Totally Masked!}

Hi there! Lisa here today with one more card featuring the Totally Stamp Set. I’ve combined it with some other PRS images to create a masculine card.

This card measures 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. I stamped the ticket from the Love Coupon Stamp Set onto a Post-it note to create a mask. Then I stamped it three times onto a white panel. Next came one of the border images from the Totally Stamp Set. I used a Post-it note to mask off the edges of the tickets. Those tiny arrows in the opposing corners are also from  Love Coupon Set.

‘Monday’ and ‘Memories’ (This Moment Stamp Set) where stamped with Versa Mark ink then heat embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. I colored the tickets with Tombow Brush Markers and added a few silver stars. Even guys like a little bling!

I went totally masked crazy on this one, hope you like it!!

Saturday Creations ~ {You’re LOVELY}

I have another card today where I stamped the brush stroke from our new PR Totally Stamp Set horizontally on watercolor paper for the background.

Then I just added embellies:

000_4764Three different doily details, a Gorgeous flower and some washi tape and it’s almost done.

000_4766All it needed was the FAB sentiment You’re_______ from the PR Totally Stamp Set and since my handwriting is horrible,

I added the sentiment LOVELY from the PR Blossom Stamp Set.

I hope you like my card!

Tuesday Ideas: One Layer Encouragement

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with another installment of Tuesday Ideas!  This week, I decided to make a one layer encouragement card.  Rainbows are a favorite of mine, so I went for a multi-colored look!

2016 Aug16

I used the brush stroke image stamp from the wonderful Totally stamp set, inking it in five different colors, stamping it five separate times.  I stamped the large sentiment from the same set at a diagonal and then added the smaller sentiment from the Blossom stamp set.  I added a little sparkle to the rainbow rays using a clear Wink of Stella brush marker.  One layer simplicity!

I hope your summer is coming to a smooth close.  It’s so hard to believe three months can go so quickly, isn’t it?!

Until next time, happy stamping!

{Inspire Me Friday} You’re Sweet…That’s All!

Hello, everyone!  It’s Judy here, back with my next installment of {Inspire Me Friday} highlighting the fun “Totally” stamp set!

For my card, I combined the graphic images from the “Totally” set with some accents from two others sets, including “Happy Art” and “Sweet Pea.”

8-12-16 PRS Totally Project 3 Card

I took some of the guess work out of deciding what colors to combine by using a set of coordinating ink cubes by Hero Arts called “Summer Splash.”  The ink colors in the set include all of the inks you see on my card: Tide Pool, Butter Bar, Orange Soda, and Soft Granite.

I started out with a white stitched die cut rectangle, and I stamped the paint stripes, ink splatters (from “Happy Art”), and stars.  Next I added the main sentiment in Soft Granite ink.  I filled in the blank with the word “sweet” from the adorable “Sweet Pea” set and used the swirly underline from the same set to highlight the word “really.”  Some of Lisa’s “Sweet Pea Sequins” finished off the card.

I mounted the white rectangle onto gray card stock before adhering to my tide pool card base.  I am happy with the general sentiment on the card front…this way I can add a more specific sentiment on the inside of the card when I need it.  This could easily be a birthday card, a thank you note, or even a thinking of you card.

8-12-16 PRS Totally Project 3 Card 2

I do hope you have enjoyed my card…now it’s your turn to get your Precious Remembrance Shop stamps out and play!  Have fun!

Create It Wednesday ~ {you’re so special}

It’s time for another Create It Wednesday project, and I’m still showcasing the awesome new release of the the {Totally} stamp set. This set really let’s you get bold and graphic!

 Totally special

I began by stamping the border stamp repeatedly in 3 rows (always think odd numbers in design) using Versamark ink on black cardstock. Heat setting brightly colored embossing powders to the stamped borders really created a pop on this card! I embossed my sentiment on vellum, pairing the {Totally} stamp set with “you’re so special” from the {Blossom} stamp set. A few sequins and a notebook paper edge punch and this became a graphic CAS design with a rainbow of colors 🙂

I’m “totally” loving this stamp set; it plays so well with the other stamps from Precious Remembrance Shop and other stamps sets you have in your stash! Swing by and check out the shop here. I hope you have a super special day 🙂
