{Inspire Me Friday} Merry & Bright

Hello, friends!  It’s Judy here with my  next installment of {Inspire Me Friday} highlighting the Oh Christmas stamp set.  Have you been enjoying all of the wonderful projects shared so far by the Design Team and our Guest Designer this month?  I know I have!

I had some fun with embossing and coloring and adding sparkle to my card for today.  Sometimes a little sparkle is fun, especially on a Christmas card!

For this square card, I stamped the “Merry & Bright” sentiment in VersaMark ink and embossed with black embossing powder.  This helped the inks and the Glossy Accents to remain inside the lines.  I colored the sentiment with various Copic markers, then drew highlights with a white gel pen before covering in Glossy Accents.  The pine branches were stamped twice using two shades of green distress inks, then finished off with a bow punched from red glitter paper and a glitter gem.

The frame  is an inlaid die cut stitched square using some fun polka dot paper.  This card looks like several layers but it is actually only two!  Nice and flat for mailing.

I hope I’ve inspired you with my project today…thanks for stopping by!
