Hello and a Happy Memorial Day to all of those in the states!
I’ve put together a fun paper bag project today. Take a look…
For those of you who know me, I’m sure you’ve guessed who will receive this. Yes, our little Sweet P is finishing up her first year of preschool this week. Gramma and Papa are so proud of her! A gift card will find it’s way into her treat bag for some ice-cream outings this summer!
I created a festive banner (Oh So Fun) from stamped and fussy cut triangles. They’re glued onto the bag along with some rose gold twine. I curved the sentiment (Oh So Fun) on my acrylic block to follow the curve of the banner.
Masking helped me fill the jar (Oh So Fun) with pea pods and teeny hearts (Sweet Pea). I popped it onto the tag with foam tape. After composing the bow, I added a slip of vellum with Sweet P’s (Sweet Pea) name on it along with the happy little pea (Sweet Pea).
I love the way this turned out and I think she’ll enjoy her surprise!
Thanks so much for stopping by, we love it when you do!
My Paper Tales
Hi friends! Nicole here with a colorful layout I created using the Happy Art Stamp Set and Journey Stamp Set. I love how FaceBook shows my favorite memories over the years. This photo popped up in my feed from almost 8 years ago and it’s still a favorite of mine! Edward has always been a HAPPY boy even as a baby. And he absolutely loves the beach! I get my best photos when he’s at the beach. 🙂
To begin, I used the stars stamp from the Journey Stamp Set to create a fun background for my layout.
Once I was happy with the background, I used used the scribbles stamp from the Happy Art Stamp Set to add a few scribbles. I love this stamp set! It’s my favorite.
Since I did not have lime green cardstock, I used lime green ink to stamp around the edges of a 3 1/2″x 31/2″ piece of cardstock. It totally worked!
I stamped the film strip image from the Journey Stamp Set onto white cardstock and then cut it out with a pair of scissors to create a fun, side border.
To complete the layout, I added some snippets here and there along with a few other embellishments I found in my stash!
Here is a video so you can see how I created this layout from start to finish. Super simple, but fun!

Hi PRS friends, Lisa here today with a trio of thank you tags. As another school year comes to a close there are always people to thank. Teachers, bus driver’s and crossing guards just to name a few. These cute little tags would be perfect to add to a small token of your appreciation. Take a look.
I started by stamping the thank you sentiment from the Thanks Stamp Set onto rustic cream cardstock. Next the tag was die cut followed by stamping the second portion of my sentiment (School Days). I added the yellow hearts (Everyday) letting them flow off of the tag’s edge. Opposing leaves in soft aqua (Falls Colors) add just the right amount of interest without being in you face!
Coordinating ribbon and twine provided just the right finishing touch. I hope you like them and that I’ve inspired you to create some thank you projects with your PRS stamps!
My Paper Tales
Happy Friday stampers! I hope you had a great week! My week was pretty busy with work, but I manage to scrapbook a layout for fun. One night a week, I like to create something. It helps me handle my stress. I created this layout for Pinkfresh Studio’s May challenge. And because I love how pretty the stamps look, I thought I’d take a minute to share it with you!
I used two different stamps sets to create this colorful layout. I used the “a picture makes every moment last forever” sentiment inside the frame that’s part of the Journey Stamp Set and the stars are from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set. I colored a piece of white cardstock using some pink, yellow and orange watercolor paints. Once everything was mounted down on the layout, I splashed some red and white mist all over the layout.
I used the Nocturne and Glamorous VersaFine Clair ink on this layout. Both are available in the Precious Remembrance Shop! Love how crisp these inks are! I accidentally smeared the sentiment at the bottom. To fix it so it wouldn’t be so noticeable, I used a black pen to touch it up.
Love how happy this layout looks with the bright, pretty colors…and the dogs are simply adorable. They are my Mother-In-Law’s dogs. 🙂
Thanks for visiting today. I hope you have a fun weekend~
i everyone. I’ve been playing with my stamps again, having a blast. A few weeks ago, I snapped this photo of my son after he finished reading. He was so exhausted from school that day and then I made him read before bed… it did not take him long to fall asleep. I love watching him sleep. When he’s asleep, he looks so precious and innocent. However, when he’s awake, he’s energetic, crazy and exhausting…LOL
To begin, I used a few stamps (Totally Stamp Set, Daily Thoughts, DIY Stamp Set) to decorate the background. Then, I splashed some Glimmer Mist to the background. Once I was satisfied with the background, I cut a strip of patterned paper to help frame the photo and mounted both of them to the base. I completed the layout by adding a few stickers and gems here and there.
I used foam squares to mount the photo to the layout to add dimension to the layout since most of the layout was flat due to the stickers and stamps.
I fussy cut the circle from patterned paper then embellished it with a cork heart from Pretty Little Studio. I used a black pen and a ruler to add the scribbles and line.
I totally love the big title and that font! It’s so perfect for this layout, considering the fact that Edward always says, “that’s all” for tonight…when he is finished reading for 20-30 minutes.
Thanks so much for visiting today!
Good morning friends! I just sat down to look at what I’ve got plans for in June. So far, June is going to be busy with baby showers and birthday parties! It’s gonna be a month filled with lots of fun, I hope. I’ve been working a lot of hours so I’m due for some fun time.
For this planner spread, I used a few Bits & Pieces (Totally Bits, Hapiness) and the School Days Stamp Set along with the Date Stamp Set and Sweet Pea. Also, I manage to squeeze in some planner stickers from the shop!
What are your plans for June? Why not get a heads start and start planning with some stickers and stamps!

Good morning! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend! I’m here to brighten your week…literally…with this fun, bright, and colorful layout! I’ve been waiting to use a lot of the stamps from the “Totally Stamp Set” for sometime now.
I created this layout one morning and I just started stamping the images in different colors onto white cardstock. Then, I splashed some lime green mist on top of the stamped images. I used a few different color markers to fill in the triangles and the stars.
I used the “9” from the Sketchy Alphabet stamp to stamp Edward’s age in the circle. I wanted to fill in as much of the white space that I possibly could with a variety of stamps to help tell my story. I used the “smile.smile” stamp from the Journey Stamp Set as well. What can I say, I love mixing different stamp sets together to create a fun layout!
