Project Thursday ~ An Anniversary Card

Hello everyone… Helen is here. Today, I have an anniversary card to share with you. And I tried to go with simple, but still have some layers on it.

I created the background using the faux stitch rectangle, one of the frames from the Love Coupon Stamp Set and I stamped it directly on the white card with VersaFine Clair – Nocturne Ink Pad. I layered one to another in different angle. Then I stamped the sentiments from both Everyday Stamp Set and Love Coupon Stamp Set with the same black ink pad. Next, I stamped the arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set.

For the hearts, I stamped the heart background stamp from the Everyday Stamp Set with VersaFine Clair – Charming Pink Ink Pad on a white cardstock, and then I cut them with Hearts Dies Set. And then using sponge, I added more light pink ink on it to create the shadow look on it. I added both heart die cuts on the card with thin 3D foam tape and thick 3D foam tape to give them extra dimension.

I think this card is not too girl to give to a man, right? I hope you like this Project Thursday card today. Thank you so very much for stopping by!

Tuesday Ideas {Sending Hugs}

Welcome! It’s Kelly here today sharing a quick and easy Valentine’s Day idea! I’ve been having so much fun using smaller stamps to create my own custom backgrounds soI used one of the little hearts from the Love Coupon stamp set to create the background for today’s design. I used Versamark ink and stamped the heart in a pattern over the entire front panel. I used Wow! puff white embossing powder for a textured effect.

Once the background was complete, I adhered the Doily using Scor Tape for security. I stamped the “Sending Hugs” sentiment, which is from the Everyday stamp set, three times for a scattered, yet intentional look.

I created a quick tag/focal image by stamping the edge of a white piece of cardstock using the hearts, which are also included in the Everyday stamp set, using pink ink. The other images are all from the Love Coupon stamp set {linked above}. I added a silver eyelet and tied a bow of black Baker’s twine for some added detail. A few sparkling clear sequins finish off this quick and easy design! I hope you’ll try creating your own custom background using small images!

Inspire Me Friday – {Happy Anniversary}

Hello everyone!   Hope you had a great week and have lovely plans for the weekend!  I’m popping in today with a clean and simple card made using the Everyday stamp set along with the fun Love Coupon set.

happy anniversary

The hardest part of making this card was masking off the top and the bottom to so that I could stamp the sweet heart background image from the Everyday stamp set!   You could easily make this card using all of the various sentiments in the Everyday stamp set.   The heart background was stamped in a coral colored ink and then I stamped the word love from Love Coupon in red.   The sentiment (from Everyday) was stamped on a strip of gray cardstock with black ink and then adhered beneath the stamping.   The panel was then die cut with a rectangle die and then I added the single strand of green twine.

Thank for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Create It Wednesday~Gift Bag

Hello everyone.  I’ve taken a break from holiday cards today to bring you a fun decorated gift bag.  Mine is for an anniversary, but you could change the sentiment and make this for a birthday or Valentine’s Day.PRS DT Gift Bag

The White Flat Paper Bag was stamped all over in Delicata silvery Shimmer with the cute block of hearts from Everyday Stamp set.  The three strips were stamped with images from Love Coupon Stamp set and the bottom edges were die cut.  I folded over the top of the bag and punched 6 small holes to tie on the black and white twine.  The sentiment from Everyday Stamp set was white embossed on the black die cut tag and attached with a little red clothespin from my stash.  Maybe you need to add some of these great products to your Christmas wishlist!  I’ll see you next time.

Design It Monday ~ {Miss You}

Hi friends! I’m fast forwarding through Christmas this week to bring you a love themed card. Check it out…

Ticket stubs, a scalloped note and blossoms fill a pretty little polka dot envelope. The envelope and pink note enclosure are from Martha Stewart. I stamped the dashed frame from the Love Coupon stamp set onto the note. Next I masked it off then added a flower from the Blossom stamp set.

This ticket stub from the Love Coupon set was stamped with kraft ink then masked off to add the hearts (Everyday stamp set) and the sentiment (Love Coupon).

This one was masked off to add the paint swipe background and a repetitive sentiment from the Everyday stamp set.

Once all of the goodies were glued into the envelope I added it to a polka dot embossed panel that was adorned with portions of a paper doily. And finally everything was adhered to a red card base. I think this design would work well for not only Valentine’s Day, but an anniversary, birthday, Mother’s Day or even an I miss you card! How about you?

Inspire Me Friday – {Happy Birthday}

Hello and happy black Friday everyone!  Rosemary here with another Inspire Me Friday post using the very versatile Everyday stamp set.   Today I have combine the Everyday set with the super fun (and also very versatile!) Happy Mail stamp set to create a birthday card.

birthday letters 2

The starting point for my card were some lovely winter themed 6×6 papers that I found in my stash.  I pulled out the soft gray/green gingham piece, stamped it three time with the envelope image from Happy Mail using a gray/green ink that was several shades darker than the paper and then trimmed out the envelopes.  Lucky for me there was a strip of the woodgrain pattern that had the same soft grey/green in it that I could use for my design.  I trimmed the piece down a little bit to fit my card front and then stamped it with the little hearts background image from the Everyday set with the darker ink.   A piece of off white cardstock was adhered to my kraft cardstock base and then I adhered the stamped panel.  Up in the left hand corner I stamped a sweet little postage stamp image and the cancellation lines in a light gray ink.  The envelops were adhered to the card front with foam dots.    The sentiments from the Everyday set were stamped on some kraft paper in VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne, trimmed out and adhered to finish off the card.    This is a more feminine design, but it could definitely work for a guy by switching up the colors and papers.   Precious Remembrance Shop is having a Black Friday sale so make sure you check it out!

Hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by!

Create It Wednesday~Time for Tags

You’ve probably noticed there is a lot of tag making in blogland right now.  I joined in the craze using 3 Precious Remembrance Stamp sets:  Everyday, Happy Mail and Oh Christmas.
PRS DT Tag Much Better sharperThe sketchy circle from Everyday was white embossed on the large die cut tag to make snowballs.  Team member Lisa came up with that idea and I love it!   Distress Oxide Faded Jeans was used for the emboss resist technique and tiny white dots were added with a pen.   I stamped a branch from Oh Christmas at the top and bottom of a smaller tag using Distress Oxide Cracked Pistachio.  The words from Happy Mail were stamped with Faded Jeans and I attached the small tag to the large one using foam tape.  Luckily, this piece of ribbon was just the right color and the dots tied in perfectly.  I thought a bit of sparkle was needed, so finished off with a glittery white dot.  Now I just have to buy the perfect gift!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in the US and I’ll see you next time.

Design It Monday ~ {Special Delivery!}

Hello, hello! Need a little break from your Thanksgiving and Christmas card making? How about something with a touch whimsy today. I remembered this cute paper with all of the little houses and the wheels were in motion!

18 1115 003 copy

First up was the gray panel. After die cutting it I stamped the hearts image from the Everyday stamp set around the edges. I layered on the die cut house paper then added this to the aqua card base.

The focal element for my card was created with a cluster of images. The envelope (stamped with hearts from the Everyday stamp set) and Happy Mail circle are both from the Happy Mail stamp set. The sentiments added to the picket fence are also from the Everyday and Happy Mail sets. And finally, to kick the sweetness factor up a notch, I added a trio of Rose Quartz buttons.

Thanks for spending a bit of your day with us!

Project Thursday ~ Mass Produce Thank You Cards For Winter

Hello everyone! Helen is here again today with mass-produce card ideas for this coming Winter / Christmas season.

Every month starting November 2018 until May 2019, I make 60 Thank You cards for donation at a Kids Camp programs. When comes to making a lot of cards or mass producing, I like to use clean-and-simple (CAS) style. I use these three CAS card designs for Winter camp which I made 20 cards for each design.

On this first one layer & CAS design, I used the Sketchy Christmas Stamp Set and the Fall Colors Stamp Set. I stamped the trees and dots with white archival ink pad to create the background. And then I stamped the sentiment from Everyday Stamp Set under the trees with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous.

On this second CAS design, I use the Joy Stamp Set and Everyday Stamp Set. I stamped the wreaths with white archival ink pad to create the background, and then I stamped the Joy word inside one of the wreath with VersaFine Clair – Glamorous. For the sentiment, I stamped it on white cardstock with Memento Desert Sand ink pad, trimmed them into sentiment banner, and then I added it on the card with 3D foam tape.

And for this third CAS card, I use the Oh Christmas Stamp Set. I stamped the evergreen leaf with white archival ink pad on the top of the card to create the background border. And I use the Everyday Stamp Set for the sentiment that I stamped it on white cardstock VersaFine Clair – Glamorous and trimmed it into sentiment banner. I wrapped the twine around the card, added the sentiment banner, and tied it up a bow. I added a little bit adhesive glue on the back of the sentiment banner to keep it stay on top of the twine.

These cards are done and ready for the kids at the camp to write thank you notes.

Thank you so much for stopping by today. Hope you all have a fabulous day!

Tuesday Ideas {A wonderful holiday Season}

Hello, it’s Kelly here today! The month is already almost half over which means the countdown to Christmas is on! Christmas crafting is always so much fun, especially when you have fun stamps to play with like the amazing Joy stamp set! I love all of the fun images and it pairs so nicely with the Everyday stamp set for an unexpected design!

I created the wonky circle piece using one of the images from the Everyday stamp set and adhered it to an A2 card base. On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the wreath image using Chartreuse ink in the left hand corner. I stamped the hearts from the Everyday stamp set in the bottom right corner as well as some additional sentiments from the Joy stamp set for a fun, collage style card.

The focal image is stamped in black and cut out and adhered to the card using foam squares for some extra dimension. I also stamped the skinny sentiment and trimmed it out and added it to the focal image where it says Message:. I thought that it gave the card an extra pop of color and balance. Of course I also added a few red Nuvo drops around the wreath to mimic some festive berries. A simply bow of red baker’s twine finishes off this collage Christmas card.
