Baby Gift Tags / Note Tags

Hello everyone! Dyane here. ^_^ If you followed the blog since last year, you probably remember this gift tags/note tags tutorial that I posted. That was so fun to make! So I thought to create something similar using the newest set Little One. I hope you’ll enjoy!

Before I go into details of each tag, let’s take a quick look on all 4 tags that I made. Here we go!^_^

Yay! What do you guys think?  Do you like it so far?^_^ Ok, so let me start with the different shapes of my tag.  I used my cricut to make those tags, I only have few cartridges but I’m so glad they have tags included. They are all cut in 3″, pretty good size for a gift tag or simply add it on the top of your card base.

One of the reason why I love adding baby borders on most of our collections, is because it’s an instant element that gives a nice touch on your projects. I combined all of the borders and splatters from Little One, Positive Thoughts, Christmas, and Mom & Dad stamp sets. Using different colors of ink pads will surely brighten up your project.

I don’t own any colored markers, if I do need to color small parts I always borrow my daughter’s colored pencils(heehee). But, I do have different papers to play with, so why not use it? Paper piecing is a great option for me. Aside from giving more texture to the image, I was able to use my papers more than usual.(lol)

On to my first tag, I stamp my image first, then paper pieced it.  Added some fun borders on the top and bottom, I thought it would be interesting to add my sentiment on the side too. For my polka dots I used the same ink as my sentiment, but I stamped it first on a scratch paper and then stamp it on my tag to get a lighter color. Then added my fun splatters.

Here I stamped my sentiment using an emerald green ink, color of the year!^_^ I added dimensionals on this to pop out.  And to add more colors, I have a piece of scrap paper left laying on my table, so hey! I thought I’ll throw it on my tag as well and join the fun!^_^

Photopolymer stamps are so fun to work with, because you can position them anywhere you want. Here I bent my dashed line border to have that curved look, as well as my sentiment.^_^ I used my scraps again in making my banners and then staple it on the top, I did use some dimensionals for these as well so that it’s higher that my sentiment below it. I really love my stamped polka dots.♥

And lastly, my baby bear, the cutest thing ever! I stamped it on a piece of orange patterned paper first, and then I stamped another bear on a green patterned paper, but this time I wiped off the ink  on the “I ♥  Hugs” sentiment on his tummy, that way I can stamp the “Bundle of joy” sentiment instead. I cut out the tummy part of the green paper, and placed it over the orange paper. I paper pieced the bow as well.^_^

Yay!  I really like the color combination of green and coral for these tags.

May these projects inspire  you to create something  today.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Have a great day!

Inspire Me Friday {Welcoming Baby}

Hello, everyone!  Happy to be with you today, sharing another creation using the ‘Little One‘ set!   I’ve used some papers from Simple Stories, a sentiment from the set, and a few other little embellishments to help create a sweet little scene to welcome Baby…

As you can see, I turned the sentiment into a little banner, hanging it from a Maya Road veneer branch.  To that, I added a little Memory Box bird die cut.  Instead of clouds in the background, I stamped the little open heart from the ‘Friend‘ stamp set several times.  A few other little embellishments finished off the scene!  I always have fun creating happy little scenes like this, so I hope you’ve enjoyed it!!!  Hope you’re having fun with your set, and sure appreciate you checking in today!!!

Design It Monday {Shake it Up}

When I first saw the new Little One set with the cute teddy bear and his little round tummy, I knew he would be turned into a shaker card in my near future! It’s been an eternity since I’ve made one of these, but had the best time doing so!

My process was a very basic one. I stamped the bear onto a white panel, then used a circle punch to cut out the tummy. This was followed with the coloring and paper piecing. Next I adhered a piece of acetate to the back of the bear panel. I surrounded the cut out circle with foam tape, added my sequins, then backed everything with another white panel. Voila!!

Next, of course, came the designing of the card. Tiny polka dot butterflies flutter about the bear wishing a congratulations on the new arrival. Thanks for visiting us today!

you’re the best {saturday creations}

I still don’t have the newest Precious Remembrance set, but that doesn’t mean I can’t provide a little inspiration with some of our older sets.

I used “positive thoughts” and “mom & dad“, along with some lawn fawn speech bubbles  to create this fun little card.

True story: I actually created this card for the 10 minute craft dash this week, but ran into two problems.

  1. it took me closer to 30 minutes to get this one done, and
  2. i should have looked up the color palette before I got started.  making a card in 10 minutes in hard enough!  it should just be a free-for-all every time *wink*

Sooo, I made another card for the dash (you saw it *here*) and I’m sharing this one today.

 I hope you like it!

Project Thursday {Fuzzy Wuzzy}

Click here to see Dyane’s 10 Minute Craft Dash Card.
“…was a bear; Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair; Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn’t fuzzy…or was he?”

Have you heard the above silly rhyme before? It always tickled me pink when one of my friends said in a super funny voice. 😉

Anyways, as I was thinking about what in particular I should write about for today’s card, that just kinda popped in my head, and I thought I’d just go with the flow. ;)Meet my Fuzzy Wuzzy…

I used the adorable Little One stamp set to stamp the bear on some fuzzy acetate I had..

You can kinda see the fuzz a little bit better here – this Fuzzy Wuzzy bear actually is fuzzy. 😉

Thanks for stopping in today and I hope you enjoyed my silly post!

Precious Remembrance Shop for 10 Minute Craft Dash #18

Hello stampers, Dyane here! It’s challenge time!!!^_^ Yup! you’re reading it right! We are 10 minute craft dash sponsor this month! I really don’t know how I’m going to create something within 10 minutes. But hey! Let’s just have fun and start working!^_^

Using the palette above. Hmmm… sweet colors! Just perfect for our new release “Little One” stamp set. Gotta’ start gathering my materials!^_^ Do you think I can make something within 10 minutes? Ha! we’ll see!^_^

Weee!!! I did it!^_^

 Time: 8 minutes and 56 seconds

Now on to the process on how I made this:

  1. Grab all of the materials that you would possibly need.
  2. Start with a kraft card base.
  3. Punch your patterned papers into 1″ size circle.
  4. Time to stamp! Using the Sweet Plum ink by Memento, start stamping the “Welcome little one” sentiment onto a light brown patterned paper. Cut it around, add some dimensionals, and place it at the center right of your card.
  5. Add 3 wooden button hearts on the center left side of your card.
  6. Using the same ink for a softer look, stamp the border at the top and bottom part to add some fun elements.
  7. Round the corners.
  8. Finished! Celebrate!^_^

Make sure to visit our Design Team’s blog, they’re also taking the challenge:

Tuesday Ideas {paper piecing}

It’s Kim here to share with you a Tuesday Ideas creation featuring the newest stamp to arrive at the Precious Remembrance shop. Little One is such a darling stamp set full of adorable sentiments and images for baby.

To me, a newborn baby girl has the prettiest color palette in her wardrobe. Soft pastels, pretty pinks, buttery yellows. Those colors just make me happy. For my project today, I’ve created a gift set for baby using the same soft color palette. How could I resist?

For my card, I used Little One to stamp a row of pink stars onto pale pink cardstock. Then I stamped borders in turquoise onto coordinating cardstock. The bear? Yes, she is paper pieced. I started by stamping her in pink patterned paper. Next, I stamped her belly onto a floral pattern paper, cut it out, then adhered it directly over the pink paper. I repeated this process for her bow tie and mouth.

I just love paper piecing! It’s such a great way to really customize your stamping to coordinate your projects (especially if you don’t have a large marker selection in your stash, like me).

To accompany my card is a small glassine bag that’s the perfect size for a tiny gift. Small socks, a onesie, how about some cotton balls, or baby powder. Just dress up the packaging with a paper doily and ribbon, add a sentiment from Little One and complete it with a mini wooden clothespin.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s creation and have fun adding a little paper piecing onto your projects!

New Stamp Release!

Hello stampers! We are just so excited for today’s post!^_^ Why? because we are showcasing the newest baby in the shop!

Baby stamps are just one of the most adorable stamps to play with. Those pastel colors that we can match with baby themed cards or any projects, are just so refreshing and precious!^_^

Introducing, our newest collection “Little One“, oh how cute!♥ We totally had a blasts creating all of these projects for all of you to enjoy! Check them out!^_^

Little One

(The “I♥Hugs” is attached to the bear. After adding the ink, feel free to wipe it off  with an alcohol-free baby wipes to get just the bear image: (oh yes! I have to say alcohol-free because like a baby, photopolymer stamps have an allergy reactions to alcohol based cleaner, I’m sure you know it! Just sayin’ heehee ^_^). And if you want to experiment and play more, the “big star”, “a star is born”,”bundle of joy” image/sentiments are meant to fit inside the bear’s tummy, cutie!♥)

(Stamp the bear twice, cut out the “I ♥ Hugs” separately to make it pop out!^_^)

(International Shipping  really varies every destination. Unfortunately, for the first time Elena’s stamp set didn’t arrive within 2 weeks, she’s in Canada. I guess like what they say 2-4weeks should be the time frame for international mail. Hopefully it will be there next week so we can see her awesome projects for us next Saturday.^_^)

What do you guys think about the projects? Swoon!!!^_^ Oh so darling.♥

We can’t wait for you guys to create something from this set! There’s more projects to come, make sure to subscribe to get the latest updates from us.
