Inspire Me Friday {thank you}

Happy Friday everyone!  Wow… August is just whizzing by isn’t it?  I’m popping in today with a set of thank you notes I made using the Precious Remembrance Shop Thanks stamp set.   I love how this fun set has so many way to say thank you!

thank you 4

I started my project by going through my extensive collection of 6×6 paper pads and found one that had enough coordinating paper to create my cards.  I wanted to create a set of cards that could be used by a guy or a gal so I looked for papers that would work for both.  I die cut the little notebook page from one coordinating sheet and then cut the other pieces.   I stamped one of the fun sentiments from the set on the notebook pages with gray ink.  Once that was done I simply assembled my cards in short order.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Inspire Me Friday {i heart you}

Hello friends!  Rosemary here with a card that I made using the super cute Precious Remembrance Shop set called Thanks.  This set has so many fun images that can be used to create thank you cards.   I used several images to create my card.

copper heart 4

I used the color combo from Color Throwdown, as well as the layout from Freshly Made Sketches to help me create my card.  It is a little hard to tell, but I used copper embossing powder on the four circular images.  I took a close up of the embossing so that hopefully you can see it better.   I die cut all the images, as well as a panel of white cardstock and then placed the panel in my stamping tool, arranged the circles and then stamped the sentiment in VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne ink.   All the circles were adhered using foam tape and then I attached the panel to a black cardstock based.

I finished off the card by die cutting another panel of white cardstock and stamping the ‘thanks’ sentiment in the bottom corner with Nocturne ink and adhering it inside.

There you have it… a clean and simple thank you that would be easy to reproduce in any color combination!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Inspire Me Friday – {a big hug}

Happy Friday everyone!  Can you believe that June is almost over? Crazy, I know!  I’m popping in today with a bright and fun little card that combines one of my favorite PRS sets, Fall Colors, with the newly released Little Things.

big hugs 2

I started my card by stamping two of the leaf images from Fall Colors in watermark ink on watercolor paper.  I heat embossed the images with white embossing powder and then did simple watercoloring using a medium green ZIG marker and clean water.  I let the piece dry and then trimmed it down to the size I wanted.  I trimmed a piece of yellow cardstock to the same size and then adhered it behind the watercolor piece as you see.  I stamped the polka dot strip image from Little Things in yellow, the sentiment in VersaFine CLAIR Nocturne (my favorite black ink and available in the PRS store!) and then trimmed it down.   A piece of white cardstock was trimmed to fit my card base and then I stamped one of the small triangle images along the one side as you see leaving space for the sentiment strip.  The image panel was adhered with foam tape and then I added the sentiment strip.  Everything was adhered to a bright green cardstock base.

Don’t forget that Precious Remembrance Shop carries lots of fun goodies besides their sweet stamp sets.  If you subscribe to the PRS newsletter you will be the first to know about special offers and other opportunities.  Signing up is easy!   I also wanted to remind you that if you make a qualifying purchase of $25.00 before the end of the month you will receive a free gift in your order!  Who doesn’t like free?    Precious Remembrance Shop is also active on social media so don’t forget to look for us there!

Inspire Me Friday – {fantastic friend}

Happy Friday everyone!!  Rosemary here with another project to share using the newly released Little Things stamp set.  I combined the stamp set with several other Precious Remembrance Shop stamp sets and did some collage stamping.

little things

I started out by picking out the images that I wanted to use.  I love the feather image from the DIY set so I used that one along with the text box image from Fall Colors.  I used the color combo from Color Throwdown and then spent some time figuring out exactly how I wanted to used the images with the colors.  I finally settled on stamping the feather in green, the triangle images in blue, the LOL icon in yellow and the box in coral.  The sentiment was stamped in black to make it stand out.  Finished by stamping all the color in the upper corner using a small triangles image from the set.  Die cut the panel and adhered it to a medium blue cardstock base.  Super simple.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Project Thursday ~ Chalkboard CAS Card

Hello everyone… Happy Thursday! Helen is here today with a black and white chalkboard look CAS card showcasing the new Daily Thoughts Stamp Set.

prs-dailythoughts-feb08-chalkboard-card-helen-01

Creating this card is pretty simple 🙂 I used black cardstock for the card base and chalkboard panel.  And I only use one type of ink pad, Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad.

First, on a piece of black cardstock, I stamped the cassette image with Mini MISTI couple of time using Moonlight White Brilliance Archival Pigment Ink Pad. Since it is an archival pigment ink, it is slow drying ink, so I used my craft heater to dry the ink quicker and move to the next step.

prs-dailythoughts-feb08-chalkboard-card-helen-02

I stamped the stars from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set on the top and bottom corner of the cassette using the same ink pad. And I also stamped the sentiment and little arrows from Love Coupon Stamp Set on the label space of the cassette image. And then I stamped one more sentiment from the Daily Thoughts Stamp Set below the cassette with the same ink.

I dried all the stamped images and sentiments with craft heater. After that, I sponged the same ink on the panel using sponge dauber to give the chalkboard look on it. I started from the edge and worked my way to the middle. I repeated every edge of the panel.

I punch the corners of the panel with WRMK Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper and then added the panel on the card base. The card is done. It is not only clean-and-simple, this card is also thin and mail friendly 🙂

I hope this Project Thursday give you an inspiration to create today! And before you go… check out all the new products at Precious Remembrance Shop!

THANK YOU for stopping by and have a fabulous day.

Tuesday Ideas: A Holiday Thank You

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa here with my final post for Precious Remembrance Shop.  I am stepping down from the design team and continuing on in my creative journey.  I have truly enjoyed my time spent with Dyane and her amazingly talented team and will sincerely miss being a part of all the wonderful creativity here!

For my farewell post, I created a holiday themed thank you card.  At season’s end, we’ll all need a few of these!

2016-dec13

I used one of the pine images from the Oh Christmas set to decorate the fun coffee cup from the Coffee Love set.  I love the clean fonts of the sentiments in the Thanks stamp set and selectively inked one to label the cup.  The trio of stars are also from the Oh Christmas set and I stamped and then embellished them with a gold Wink of Stella brush marker to add a touch of festive sparkle.  The green chevron washi tape I found in my stash and used it to ground the coffee cup (please excuse the pun).  The cup is popped up with foam dots for dimension.  This design is a very simple one to create.  I love the sparkle of the stars (they remind me of Starbucks’ gold stars…)!

I hope you’re well on your way to finishing up your holiday cards.  Don’t forget to make a few thank you cards while you’re at it!

Wishing you all the best in the new year ahead!

Tuesday Ideas: School Themed Christmas

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more inspiration for Tuesday Ideas!  This week, I’m sharing a school themed Christmas card which uses two stamp sets from the Precious Remembrance Shop store:  School Days and Oh Christmas.  This time of year, school children often take a little something to school for their teachers and this clean and simple card is just perfect for the occasion!

2016-dec6-space

I had so much fun making this card!  I found some fun, plaid washi tape recently and adhered it to the bottom of the card .  The “MERRY” and “Christmas” are both partial sentiments from the Oh Christmas set.  I inked up selective portions and stamped them.  I fussy cut the letters in “MERRY” and drew little red polka dots on them to add a little festive element.  I arranged them randomly to make them come alive and popped each one up with foam dots for dimension.  The school bus was stamped in black ink also and left uncolored to keep the overall design simple.  I can see this going to a bus driver!  They need a little of our gratitude too!

I hope you’re making progress in your holiday card making!  Isn’t it crazy just how quickly time goes by this time of year?  With clean and simple designs, you can get your cards made and in the mail on time!  I hope this inspires you somehow as you are putting things together this holiday season!

Until next time, happy stamping!

Tuesday Ideas: Holiday Simplicity

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more clean and simple inspiration using the Oh Christmas stamp set!  For today, I created a very simple, one layer design.

2016-nov1

I stamped the sentiment first in black.  A trio of pine boughs was stamped on either side of the sentiment in green.  I added a touch of sparkle to the words using pearlescent watercolors.

Yet another design that is easily mass produced in time for the holidays!  How are your cards coming along?

Until next time, happy stamping!

Tuesday Ideas: A Little Christmas Sparkle

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa back with more Tuesday Ideas inspiration using the wonderful Oh Christmas set!

2016-oct18

In addition to lovely sentiments in this set, there are some wonderful pine twig and star images!  I used them to create this one layer holiday design.  I stamped the sentiment first in black ink.  The pine twigs were stamped in green and then the stars were stamped and embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder for some festive sparkle.  I love having the sentiment as the focal point on this.  That script font is just beautiful, isn’t it?!

Enjoy the rest of your October and until next time, happy stamping!

Tuesday Ideas: Color Blocked Christmas

Hello, everyone!  It’s Melissa and I’m back with another clean and simple holiday card idea for you!  Once again, I’m using the beautiful Oh Christmas stamp set.

2016-oct4

I decided to use one of the fantastic sentiments in the set as the focal point and this is what transpired.  I used two different bright colors to create a color block beneath the main panel.  These were mounted on a piece of black cardstock for a little more contrast.  The assembled piece was popped up with foam dots for dimension.  You could use any two colors you wanted and even vary colors from card to card for a wide variety of holiday cards!  So simple and so fun!

October is here and the countdown continues.  I hope you’re getting a head start on your card making and crafting!

Until next time, happy stamping!
